Under previous ownership they used Califfia, now the mik is obviously some cheap, non-creamy brand. - For a while, the cups weren't even branded, just a plain white cup - The app to order ahead is shut down - my half sweet lattes are still very sweet, in my opinion - They're running a special 9/29-10/1, buy a specialty coffee get a free butter croissant/chocolate croissant. If I arrive on day 2 of the special before 8:30am and there's no butter croissants, that a system issue. I don't like chocolate, so I asked for a different pastry and the manager refused. I have about $28 left on my account and I can't wait to be done with them.

However, the coffee was very bland, so was the oatmilk. Even with stirring in the strawberry cold foam I felt like it still had no flavor. Unfortunately, they weren't freshly made and were simply reheated. They were perfectly edible, but definitely more "side quest" than "main storyline." The Americano, however, was good. That's what brought me back to the primary mission: coffee and geeky stuff. I definitely want to return and pick up a few bags of their beans. At this point, I'm basically looking at the coffee menu the same way I look at a wall of long boxes at a comic shop: "I don't need all of these... but I should probably check every single one just in case there's a key." They should put less milk and more coffee. I'm doubtful I'll try them again as the latte quality being mostly milk makes the cost of a $10 latte (yes their lattes cost that much!) not worthwhile. These are my takeaways: 1) lower your latte prices 2) work on consistency 3) improve your service, customers shouldn't be stared at or judged for wanting a remake when their drink was made poorly. Not what I wanted. I was offered iced coffee - which those of you that know - understand there is a vast gulf between iced coffee and cold brew. I ordered a large dark roast coffee - and a breakfast burrito. The menu listed that among the burritos ingredients is cheese - I requested extra cheese in my burrito - as it seems that often I cannot tell there is any cheese in a given burrito. The coffee was somewhat disappointing - rather average - but I guess I should not be surprised by that. The burrito was delivered to my table - wrapped in foil. I asked about hot sauce and the server person brought me 3 bottles to choose from - I selected the Habanero hot sauce. I cut the burrito in half - it looked like it had zero cheese in it - and I certainly could not taste any cheese. The whole thing was rather bland. It needed seasoning. So I added hot sauce and black pepper in an attempt to make it more interesting. I would come back and try some of the other breakfast items in hope of finding something more flavorful. It feels smaller on the inside compared to the previous location. I ordered a large cold brew with Half n' Half. I guess they were out of translucent cups - as the cold brew was served up in a paper cup. There is are a few small tables inside, and free WiFi for those needing to do some work.
