It was difficult to have a comversation due to the noise from the mall & the music playing inside. The employees were very friendly, helpful & patient. Some people asked a lot of questions & took their time ordering but the employees maintained their smiles & answered all the questions. It's not my first choice for coffee because I don't like to pay its prices, however, when it's Black Friday and you're in serious need of coffee at the mall, Starbucks is the only sensible option with every line snaked through the store. Their service was top-notch! The line at 10am was almost out the door, but, it kept moving! This little place probably had 7 people working at one time. Once I made my order, I stepped to the side where there was a Starbucks worker calling out names and passing drinks. I ordered 2 drinks and both came out within 5-7 minutes? i stopped by yesterday with my sister & niece & ordered a total of three drinks. at first, the girl on register didn't greet us even though we said hi & just stared then all she said was "what are you ordering". after a bit she did start to make conversation with us but it felt forced because she realized how our energy with her changed. we paid & went to the end of the counter to wait for our drinks & my sister felt like a coughing fit was about to happen bc she was just getting over a cough, so she asks one of the baristas, a short red head with glasses, "can i have a cup for water please" & the barista sees that my sister is red in the face from holding back her cough & she goes "what are you asking for? a cup? water?" mind you my sister asked her clearly & politely. my sister says yes & she says "next time, order from the register" & literally gives her just a cup of ice & walks away & sends my sister to pour her own water at a fountain they have. if customers have to serve their own water, why was she so rude? why did she make it seem like she was being forced to go out of her way to serve a cup of water? the drinks were good, but the staff for sure needs to work on their hospitality. the actual barista that made our drinks was pretty nice, but the red head with glasses shouldn't be working if shes going to be upset and rude if someone asks her to do something that has to do with her job. read more

Caffeine boost, por favor! After hours of dancing the night before, and running errands involving the rental house & wireless phone problems, I was like a truck running on 20 thousand mile old motor oil. Stuck in second gear & being at Los Cerritos Center, I checked out the various cafes and decided upon ye ol' Starbucks, as they now serve nitro cold brew, straight from the tap. Cold Foam Cascara Nitro brew (grande)- Going back & forth inbetween the Cold Foam Dark Cocoa Nitro & the Cold Foam Cascara Nitro, I decided on Cascara based on the recommendation of the cashier. The grande Cascara has 18 grams of sugar, but I couldn't tell when I drank it. The nitrogenated drink was cold and smooth, with a faint hint of bitterness. For my taste, the Cascara could've had more fizz, as that's what I prefer. I also buck the trend of how to drink nitro cold brew, by adding a little half & half and mixing ice on the side. Service was good. The lines at the Los Cerritos Center can get quite long, but the 2 cashiers were quick & efficient in taking orders & making the line move. Minimal seating, this location is more a grab n' go. I was a little perturbed when I didn't see any powdered vanilla, cinnamon & chocolate at the condiment area. I'm unsure as to whether it's Starbucks' policy not to have them there anymore & have the baristas add those accoutrements, instead. Starbucks is located across Yogurtland & next to Adidas. Rejuvenated! Cold Foam Cascara Nitro did the trick! While not as bubbly as I would like, the Cascara, nevertheless, was refreshing and a pleasing beverage. Being sorta cramped, this Starbucks location does it's best to deal with the long lines of customers. I'd hope the staff would put out the shakers of vanilla, cinnamon & chocolate again, for people to customize their drinks as they'd prefer. But, overall, this place is A-OK! Recommend! This SB in the Cerritos Mall is occasionally open and currently don't accept mobile orders. The staff here is friendly and the drinks do come out quick but they messed my drink, short pike with cream and two packs of raw sugar, what I got was black coffee and some sugar. I want to like this location for the staff but the drinks is what I came for and they need to get their quality control in check. read more

Im a regular at this place and it never disappoints! The store is always busy but they always make time to acknowledge you. There's a group of employees who know me do to constantly going and I appreciate them! There's been times when they've run out of certain drinks I buy, and I ask them to surprise me with something similar or something they like, and each time I enjoy the drink they give me. I've noticed some customers can be rude and entitled, but this doesn't stop the employees here from giving their best customer service to everyone. I had made a mobile order around 5:39. I went into the store at about 5:45 to pick it up, and so far only my food was out. I waited until around 6 before one of the baristas on support started asking who had mobile orders so he could make it. I used to be a Starbucks partner as well so I understand that the mobile Order printer may not have been working and that they also had a very long line of customers without mobile orders as well. Once they realized something was wrong the rectified the situation fairly quickly, and gave gift cards out to us. Overall satisfied with the outcome, just wish it had been noticed faster. read more

Ok, I lied. There's only one employee here who knows how to make a perfect strawberry acai refresher. Everywhere I've gone, they've made it too tarty/tangy. The very first time I ordered the drink at this location, he said "this is the best strawberry refresher you'll ever have" and he wasn't lyinnnnnnn!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm usually not one to write reviews, but I felt it was very necessary after reading a bad review that made me upset. In regards to the girl Chastity, I was in the store moments prior to her coming in and you can tell she already had a sour attitude to begin with. Nat at the front was very friendly and tried to conversate with her but she kept giving her short answers. I usually sit in store during my lunch break and saw that she was not paying attention whatsoever! It is more than likely that someone took that girls drink -- I've seen people do it many times. She went to the end of the pickup area and exclaimed that she had been waiting for 30 minutes? It is beyond me why you would wait so long to speak up but the baristas scrambled to help her out and asked her politely what her drink was but she continued giving the male barista attitude. She made a scene and I know I was not the only person that had noticed. I have never had problems at this location and I applaud both Nat and the male barista for being professional when she was being very irrational. read more
