Strawberry acai and eggs with cheese protein box.
Patty W.

I was heading to North Carolina and needed a quick lunch to fill me up. The drive thru had a line, so I decided to pop in. I got an eggs and cheese protein box with a strawberry acai for a beverage. The service was friendly and quick. It was clean and it was a short wait for my order. I should have changed it up and not got my usual go-to, but I didn't, which is not a surprise...lol.

The only place with peppermint mocha! Look at it

This location has gone so far downhill. I used to frequent this location but now I am glad I was not there to see its demise. I tried to order a peppermint mocha. One of the seasonal specialty drinks. Nope. Out of peppermint. I chose a white chocolate mocha. When I got to the window, I saw a few employees inside and one started walking towards the window. No greeting and it felt really awkward while she tended to other business. Finally, I got my coffee and I knew from the first sip. I had made a mistake. I should have left well before I tasted burnt coffee. I won't do this again, I promise.

Easy on/off I-95

Like many patrons of this location, we were heading north on I-95 and wanted some caffeine. At 2 pm, we saw a sign for this sbux and decided to give it a go on a whim. We're glad we did! The order was made quickly and correctly, staff were friendly, inside of the store was clean, and they had a couple of tables inside and out. Chairs were still up on many of them so they may not want people milling around. Heading northbound, take exit 36A (not B), head right and you can't miss this place. I'm not sure why so many bad reviews, we had a perfectly decent visit. 1 star deducted as the restrooms weren't the cleanest and the cafe's serviette dispensers were empty. There are not too many options between Jax and Savannah, so don't hesitate to stop here for a pick me up and potty.

I don't know how to start took 7 min to get my 2 drinks and only 2 cars were infornt of me but the drinks came out really yummy.

I ordered a red eye. Oh, no coffee? Lol. Ok. Americano it is. Lmao.

No coffee. Well, I mean they have coffee, but the grinder is broken. This is a coffee shop with no coffee. Funny!

Perfectly situated off I-95, this location is ideal for a pit stop for a potty break and a coffee recharge to help you get down the road. The location is one the cutest stand alone locations I have seen!!! I stopped here kinda late and stepped in to grab some coffee and thankfully there was no line and no waiting so I was able to walk right up to the counter and order. I'm thinking because it was late, the greeting mojo had worn off and the barista looked like he had a long day, bless his heart, so he gets a pass. My drink was good. I asked for extra caramel drizzle and it was no where to found, but all in all it was decent. Next road trip, hopefully it will be earlier so I can get the real feel of this location.

Good service. Cozy place to stop when traveling. The inside furniture caught my eye; unique compared to most Starbucks.

You can order coffee to go at the service counter, and they have a variety of options to make it what you want. There can be a bit of a wait because the coffee is made fresh at the espresso bar, and busy times can cause a delay (understandable). The staff was working as hard as they could. The thing that drew me in was that this has a very cute house like vibe. I also loved the patio in the back!

We were told that it would be about an hour and a half for a table we were ok with that and put our name on the list. I would say it took about an hour for a table. Our server immediately came to the table to ask for our drink orders so we thought we were off to a great start. She also took our food orders rather quickly. However, after that she pretty much disappeared on us. She never once came by to ask if we needed any more mimosas or refills on our waters. She didn't even let us know that the kitchen was backed up. We had to ask the hostess to look for her as it had been 45 minutes after ordering and we had no sign of her. She was outside texting. She then came by and said it's a holiday weekend it's going to be busy and then walked away. Our food was delish and we really liked what we ordered but by the time we got it we had been at the restaurant for at least an hour after ordering. I had the breakfast sandwich that was basically like a bacon and and cheese with tomato on a sandwich with cheesy grits on the side. We waved her down to close out and left right after we finished eating. Server was not friendly or attentive.

Because the restaurant is downtown there is plenty of free street parking spaces right outside the door. There is a bar, with bar seating, The other seating consisted of normal table with hard back chairs, and couches that ran down the side of the wall with tables, and hard back chairs on the other side. Overall, the service was adequate, not good, and certainly not great, but good enough not to stop us from enjoying our night out. I started with what was supposed to be a cup of Tomato Bisque but received and paid for a bowl. Somewhat my fault for not realizing that my serving and what I paid for was large and more expensive than the cup I ordered. With that said, I thought the flavor of the bisque served with, Garlic Buttered Crostini, and grated Smoked Gouda was outstanding. The temperature could have been a bit warmer, but again the flavor was sport on. The wife and I split a very large bowl of PEI Mussels. The Mussels were served in a white wine broth with Shallots, Garlic, Roasted Tomatoes, and Bacon. Honestly, I could and did finish the broth off as a soup. There were quite a few Mussels that did not open, but the bowl was so large, we wouldn't have eaten them anyway. The wife's main dish was the Pan Seared Sea Scallops, with peach and bacon risotto, and fresh Spinach. The dish was finished with an amazing Bourbon Peach Brown Butter Reduction. The scallops were large, the Risotto was great, but the brown butter reduction was the absolute star of the dish. For my main dish I had the Curried Lamb Lollipops, served over Cilantro Basmati Rice, and roasted Tomatoes with an excellent curry sauce. The chops were of good size and cooked to perfection. And please don't even get me started on the fired Garlic Butter Paratha which is some of the best bread I have ever had. My mistake was ordering a side of the Peach and Bacon Risotto similar to what was served with the scallop dish. Without the Bourbon Peach Brown Butter Reduction however, the risotto ate a little dry and had little to no peach flavor. I finished my meal with a bourbon , Mascarpone, bread pudding, which was amazing. The dish was loaded with bourbon which both my wife and I agreed was not completely cooked off. Great dish to finish an outstanding meal. Even with a few minor missteps, the overall flavor of the dishes were so good, I still must give it an overall 5.
