I always enjoy stopping by this Starbucks when in Brunswick. Just off the I-95 at exit 36A with fueling stations and quick bites near make it a busy location. The baristas are quite friendly and does a fine job 95 percent of the time fulfilling your order. The location has outdoor seating as well as indoor which allows for a break from the monotony of the road. Not usually perfectly clean and some times neglected, I believe they try. A little more effort could secure a five star rating. read more

Ordered a cinnamon almond milk macchiato. Drink was consistent with other locations. Easily on and off 95. Bathrooms were clean but poorly lit. Kind of odd. Staff was friendly and happy to help. We would use this Starbucks again while traveling. Not a lot of parking however. Small cafe area. Which was being used heavily which made it difficult to take a picture without being noticed. The outdoor area was nice and user used by patrons. If we weren't just stopping for bathroom break and coffee I'd have hung out on the patio. read more

Meh. If it smells like a coffee house and looks like a coffee house, it must be a Starbucks. I'm really not a big Starbucks fan (Dunkin Donuts is my love), but after having "restaurant style" coffee all week long, my car practically drove itself to Starbucks on the way to my final destination. I've been drinking coffee with *gasp* powdered creamer! Powdered creamer, y'all. Bleccccccck! The sight of half and half had me almost giddy with happiness; I almost giggled out loud like a school girl. The first sip tasted like liquid gold, so I made sure to drink it slowly and enjoy it. Brunswick has come a long way in the coffee shop arena. Last year at this time I noticed there was a Starbucks near the Target, and this year I saw this new one had popped up. It's your standard architectural style with a few places to sit here and there. I noticed that some of their morning offerings are only slightly different that what I normally see at the other locations I've visited. Funny thing is when I walked into the room where all my colleagues were, I got several, "Where'd you get THAT???" questions. 10am on a Friday. Whew. After seeing the other reviews, I must assume that I came in on an extreme off day. Slow. Rude. Stupid. Filthy. The filthy part surprises me. The restrooms were absolutely filthy. I'm talking wet floors and toilet tissue everywhere. Even Starbucks in DC and Manhattan (which are much busier) have much cleaner restrooms. The interior of the Starbucks was also filthy. My order was charged as a venti, but delivered as a grande. After waiting nearly 10 minutes for it, instead of having them remake it, I simply asked for a comp card. Yikes. You would have thought I asked the fat woman for her second and third born! "Fine, sorry madame... just remake the order. But this time, please do it right because I need to get home to Florida before next week." Other customers, including Canadian snowbirds were treated poorly and talked down to. That is unacceptable in such a supposedly hospitable state--as well as on the 95 corridor where so many snowbirds blaze the trail. Is this Starbucks just not able to handle the volume despite having a very large staff. There were six people working! I've seen a crew of two work faster than this group. DM: Look into this store. Just stopped by this Starbucks while traveling home before New Years on I-95. The exterior was a bit odd. Looks like this location used to be some sort of other restaurant, which I feel is unusual for Starbucks to merely remodel another establishment. Who knows though... Anyway, multiple doors are at the front of the coffee shop, with white paper signs over the doors flapping in the breeze marking "Enter" and "Exit." Why on earth are there not permanent signs? Didn't thoroughly inspect the restaurant but the women's restroom was pretty clean. My husband also said the men's was descent. However, I was highly disappointed in my beverage. I ordered a Skinny Peppermint Mocha that tasted like shots of espresso. Thankfully, my former Starbucks manager husband caught me before I dumped in sugar... He said the barista probably hadn't stirred the drink for me. Umm... Who doesn't stir a mocha? Tasted delicious after being stirred up, but I've never ordered a mocha at another location that was unstirred. I'll try to avoid this location next time I drive up I-95... read more

After a long day with no help from the traffic gods, I was more than excited to see a Starbucks. I may have even kissed the ground when I arrived and for a Thursday afternoon, this Bucks was packed. The look and feel of this Starbucks reminds me more of a Caribou coffee---more warm and welcoming. The staff is freakishly friendly and even listened to my rant about what a horrible day I'm having. Free wifi as always and I even earned a free drink when completing a survey after my purchase. Yep, I'm a fan! read more

While on a road trip over the holidays I was happy to come across this Starbucks right off of I-95. It was later in the evening and there was no line at the drive-thru. Our cashier was very nice and chatted with us a little bit while we waited for our drinks. Everything was just fine until we set off down the road with our drinks. After just a couple sips of my latte I found small piece of (what I hope was) plastic in it. Maybe it somehow came off of the lid? No idea, but it freaked me out. I had ordered a Venti and didn't want to let it go to waste so I very cautiously continued to drink it. Ugh. My husband's drink didn't have any foreign objects in it, but the flavor just wasn't what he was used to. I tried it and it actually tasted like it may have been the wrong drink that was given to him. Oh well... Anyway, it's a Starbucks, and even a sketchy coffee from Starbucks is better than driving tired. I'd go again but be sure to try your drinks before you are too far away to get them fixed. read more

Limited parking available at the Starbucks if you're traveling and you have a large vehicle. We parked the best we could. We were not in the way of the drive-through at all. But if people were driving through and not really going to go to the drive-through then yes we were in the way. All that being said the very slow staff at the Starbucks who took for ever with our two drinks Caused the manager to come out and in a very snotty voice condemn my husband for his parking. Told him he needed to move it right away. He looked at her and said where would you like me to move it? she had no options for him, just told him he needed to get it out-of-the-way. As he is waiting for his drinks. While the rest of the family was inside the van waiting we saw several of these employees outside the The Starbucks in the back smoking cigarettes. And after my husband left with his drinks to get to our van to move it for the not so kind manager he noticed her outside smoking as well. This is a busy location, so I expected it to take a while for my order to be ready. I was pleasantly surpised that it was finished rather quickly. The manager may want to train his cashiers on customer service, and how to interact with customers, as the girl who rang me up didn't seem to have people skills. Worst Starbucks I've ever been to (& I've been to hundreds). First the guy who was taking orders left as soon as I approached the register to "do the trash" i.e. ONLY flirting with a girl sitting by the trash cans for 10 minutes. Finally a young lady took my order and it took entirely too long watching Jenna move slow and steady to prepare my water. The water was not filtered which Starbucks water ALWAYS is. I don't usually review Starbucks since they're everywhere and (in my opinion) quite similar, but this one was quite memorable. In a bad way. We only stopped here after a quick stop to get gas on our way from NC to Fl. The cashier we had was awful. I changed my order from an SF vanilla iced coffee to a SF vanilla red eye. He was not making any eye contact, appeared bored, and not to be paying attention, so I asked if he'd gotten my order and repeated it for him. He said he'd gotten the order, so I went to wait. The barista made my order wrong because the cashier didn't put it into the computer right (though she happily made it right). After getting my coffee, a line is starting to form because the cashier gave my dad the wrong change and is refusing to fix it. The manager came after a couple of minutes and then the cashier finally realized his mistake. Oops. I will actually go out of my way to avoid this Starbucks the next time we are in the area. read more

Decaf Brewing All the Time! When we travel to Florida from OHIO, we always stop at this Starbucks in Brunswick. They are ultra friendly, the place and bathrooms are clean and they ALWAYS have brewed Decaf, unlike many other Starbucks locations. It is located right off I95 and gas stations are all close. read more

Used to love this location on the way home, but it's really deteriorated. Today our drinks weren't sweetened at all. I've never had to request that especially done at a Starbucks. The cinnamon dolce latte was undrinkable due to the sheer amount of cinnamon they dumped on top. The inside of the restaurant was filthy with liquid spilt all over the floor and behind the counter. We weren't welcomed at the window for at least 60 seconds and were not offered a receipt. We will find a different location to stop at from now on. Terrible experience all around. read more

You would expect consistency out of Starbucks - but you would be surprisingly disappointed with this one. Caramel Macchiato's are probably one of their featured drinks nationwide, so you would think every Starbucks would be ready for these orders. Sadly, this one (one of only a few between Jax and Savannah) did not have the ingredients to make one, so I was stuck with an unsatisfying Hazelnut Macchiato. On top of that, the women's bathroom was out of order, thus there was a long line to use the Men's Room. Really bad experience at this Starbucks location. The drive-thru monitor was broken, so it was very difficult to understand the employee who was taking my order. They also didn't have the almond milk I ordered with my drink. When I was handed the small latte and egg wrap I paid $10 for, the wrap was completely open with the ingredients spilling out and the latte was room temperature. Don't waste your time or money here when there are far better Starbucks locations/ coffee shops in Brunswick that actually know what they're doing. read more

I was disappointed in this Starbucks. My frappe was weak, and when I ordered their tomato/ mozzarella panini, well it wasn't available. The sales associate over the speaker offered a "round circle shaped spinach thing, that's like it". I thought it was a sandwich as well, since he stated "it was like it" but no, it isn't. I guess he was offering a flat-bread item that had spinach cooked into it.
