I want to give Starbucks 5 stars but their menu is not diverse enough for me. I like to go out and try new drinks and flavors, but literally EVERYTHING on the menu has a TON of sugar in it! I don't want to drink sugar. All the energy infusions come pre mixed with cane sugar so you can't get the option of just the flavor without a TON of sugar. All drinks shouldn't come pre mixed. You should have the option of adding the sugar syrup if the customer wants. I want to be able to get just a lemonade without all the sugar in it and then add fruit inclusions or some type of drink that's simple and REFRESHING. To me, that is refreshing. I will just stick to a plain latte or black coffee next time. The only sugar free coffee option is sugar free vanilla. Need to do better. read more

The staff was very nice and fast! I ordered an iced matcha with pistachio and chocolate cold foam and it was great! My drink was made hot at first but they recognized the mistake immediately and remade my drink. It was nice and clean o. The inside and super convenient for us to get to while waiting on a family member who was having a small procedure at the near by hospital. We only had an hour to be gone and we back in no time because of the fast moving staff. We will definitely be back to this location! read more

We came during Christmas time and they were out and we came here last week and they were out. I came here to claim my free bday drink. It was busy per usual! Ugh! I am simple when it comes to my coffee. I ordered a grande medium roast but they were out. No problem. They offered me an americano so I obliged. Instead of a grande they gave me a venti and goodness it was too much coffee. I had no plans on drinking it all and it was smoking hot!!! Whew! I enjoyed the sips I had once it cooled down a bit. The staff was cool. The inside service was kind of slow but I think they were training new baristas. I really don't know , honestly. Popped in for my usual coffee, not at my usual location. I ordered on the app for an americano and a breakfast wrap. When I arrived I found that they don't have a mobile pick up area. Their solution is to pile food and drinks in front of one of the registers. No organization what so ever. To add insult to injury then breakfast wrap I had tasted like cardboard. It was so gross, I couldn't even get one bite down. So needless to say I won't come back to this Starbucks location. read more

I love Starbucks in general and I've been a rewards member for years, but this is probably the worst Starbucks I've been to. Starbucks promotes ordering using the app SO MUCH, but when I use the app to order, almost EVERY TIME they are out of what I ordered. The manager I spoke to says it's because they haven't updated the app with what is sold out at their store. I use the app to facilitate getting my drink on my way into work, but when every time I use it I've got to wait for something else, its a huge inconvenience. I've given this store chance after chance, but I'll get my coffee fix elsewhere in the future. read more

This is a well run and super nice Starbucks. I stopped by here for a cup of peachy tea to sooth a headache, use their loo and to get directions because I was terribly lost...yes it's the triple threat people.... The store is pretty small but got a nice cozy vibe to it. It's off of Gadsden Highway near Roebuck Industrial plaza. Next door to a Salvatore's pizza and a Cold Stone Creamery. There is a Drive Thru at this location but it can only be reached from behind the building so you'll have to route yourself around the place. It's too bad I don't live in the area because I wouldn't mind coming to this Starbucks....Thanks guys for a great experience. I can't say that I come here often but when I do I'm never dissatisfied. Even though they can be a bit pricey, their drinks are pretty good. They also have different sandwiches and pastries that I have yet to try. This particular location is in a store front,which tends to be a tad bit crowded due to other businesses. The parking lot is small as well so that doesn't make it any better. They have some parking spaces in the back right by Starbucks drive through. That can be a problem as well, especially when you are trying to leave and back out without hitting cars in the drive through. The inside is very small with limited seating. They do have a eating area outside that is very small. If you are feeling under the weather they have a drink called, Medicine Ball Tea, that is so awesome!!! It made me feel so much better and it taste Soooo good!!! Their sizes are not called small,medium or large. They are called tall(small),grande(medium) and venti(large). I always get them confused. I think I'm ordering a small and I end up with a gallon lol!!!! I will definitely come here again. read more

2 years ago this place was amazing. Staff was incredible. Felt just like family every time walking in. Drinks were always accurate. Now.. it's awful. You ask for custom drinks that you PAY FOR and they question you. I ordered a pink drink. Something I get every single day, if not twice a day. I always ask for extra refresher. Barista hands it to me and it's white. I asked her if they could add extra refresher to make it a little more pink. The barista hands it off to another coworker and he argues with me and says well I've added enough. I can add purée for you and I say no thanks I'll just take more refresher. Original barista hands drink back and it's a perfect color. Take the first sip and he added purée. Specifically what I asked not to have. No sense in paying $7 for a drink when it's not accurate. This is my new local Starbucks and is awkwardly situated off busy hwy 11 which unfortunately creates a recipe for an extremely overcrowded parking lot! Just about any time of the day the cars are wrapped around the building including the other two business that Starbucks shares with and I'm sure they really enjoy the clogged parking situation. Moral of the story, be simple and don't order these fancy fruity drinks and get a coffee and move on. Going inside is always faster than waiting in the drive though line! read more

The drinks and customer service are always on point at this location. Whether you are getting a hot cup of regular coffee, or a cold brew you will never be disappointed. It is hard not getting any better than that, but the customer service is even better. They are always glad you are there, and it feels like the tv show "Cheers" where everyone knows your name. When I have $5 to spend on a coffee, I like to get a flat white. This is the closest place to my office and its a good place to meet friends for 'coffee and conversation'. This place is run by and full of millennials. If you are 40 and over, you'll be out of place, but the staff is pleasant and make us old folks feel at home. I was horrified by the bathroom. It was disgusting. If I went in before my coffee, I probably would have left. Starbucks, please spend some time taking care of this issue. This is the reason I'm giving them 3 stars. We stopped by this Starbucks' drive-thru on our way to a friend's house in Trussville. I typically order an iced skinny caramel macchiato but this time I wanted something different. So I pulled into the driveway thru at 3:30 today . I noticed it was long but that normal for a Starbucks. I got the drive thru speaker to order at 4:07. YES it took them that long to clear the line. No one answers or takes order. I drive to window to see what's going on and the guy ignores me and I could tell he had a attitudes because he waves his hand as to say we're closed. Now I had no idea this was the case and 5 other cars behind me also did not know I'm sure. It was the waiting in line for 30+ mins and then being ignored that completely blows me. I love Starbucks, but I have a particularly soft spot for this location. Every time I visit, the barristas are always fast and friendly! This location actually helped my best friend surprise me for my 30th birthday last summer. It was super sneaky and sweet of them to play along and be so accommodating! I will say the drive through lines are usually a little intimidating, especially in the mornings, but they sure do know how to get things moving bc they get you out of there super fast. When we come through the drive through, we order a puppuccino - a cup of whipped cream that dogs love - it's their own, personal treat when coming here. This location has a drive thru that is always crowded. More importantly, the design of the building lacks functionality. The drive thru line blocks 2 separate rows of parking. You either block people in their sports, or have to back out of line and move in a small space to let them out bc of the businesses around the Starbucks. Even when I order ahead at this location, I wait in line for much longe than other locations. It could have just been the days I was there, but seems like a constant problem for parking. read more

My family and I decided to go to Starbucks to get dessert after dinner. We got there around 7:45 and waited in a long line for up to 30 minutes. When we finally got to the speaker where you order, we sat there for a few minutes and no one spoke. We even spoke into the speaker but, still, no one responded. We pulled forward to the window after a few minutes and saw staff cleaning around. We looked at them for a minute and when they realized we weren't leaving, they simply waved their hands and mouthed "we're closed". This was particularly peeving because on google for this specific location, it said that they closed at 9. At this point it was 8:20 so we remained at the window while the staff rudely motioned at us to leave until someone came to the window and explained. One guy came over to the window finally and opened it to say that they were closed. We told him that it says online that they close at 9. He said "Well we've been closing at 8 for about four months now". We were just dumbfounded at this point with the unprofessional nature of the staff. The same guy continued to say "If nobody says anything at the speaker for about five minutes, you should just assume that we're closed", insinuating that it was our fault that we didn't "assume" that it was closed. We left and then found that around ten minutes after we left, the closing time on google had changed to 8. So why now did they change the time if they had been closing at 8 for "four months"?? 10/10 would NOT recommend going here at night. I cannot attest to the daytime staff but the people working at closing time were completely rude, condescending, and unprofessional. read more

I've been waiting in the long drive thru line for over 10 minutes without moving a single car length. My first time at this location. Awesome staff and store. The only issue i found was the restrooms. They always seem to be EXTREMELY disgusting and also smells horrible. There's always a mess outside the restrooms (boxes,tissue, merchandise etc.) which makes it a hassle to reach your destination to the restroom. read more
