This location is busy from open to close and the baristas are always friendly! During the COVID shutdown they kept their drive-through open while other locations (londonderry) closed. I have been going to the Bedford Starbucks for a little over two years on a Saturday morning. I started the tradition just after my beloved Grandmother passed away in August 2014. I was her main caregiver so her passing left a huge hole in my life. I was driving to the cemetery one morning and I noticed Starbucks was open so I went in and met a kind Barista named Sarah. Initially, we didn't talk much except to take my order. I was grieving and so was not very friendly. Over time, however, we spoke about art. I noticed the beautiful notice boards and she told me she was the artist responsible. I have now been coming in most every Saturday morning and most of the time Sarah is there and I am greeted with a cheery, Hi Troye! I love it. I used to sit alone and stare out of the window with a longing heart. Now I go in all smiles looking forward to hearing how the week has gone. I still go in every Saturday (that I am in town) and then on to the cemetery to respect my grandmother. It is my Saturday morning routine that has helped me cope with my devastating loss. I love it and I have come to love the staff on Saturday mornings at Starbucks in Bedford, most especially Sarah. She is a star and I hope her managers know it. You never know what people are going through when they come through your doors. Sarah's kindness made me feel welcome every time. I don't know if I ever told her how much her greetings meant to me. This location is amazingly slow. I can't recall a time when my coffee was ready in under 20 minutes. The Manchester location is a literal in-and-out experience. I'm will go out of my way and STILL have my drink and get to work on time, whereas if I come to the Bedford store, I wait forever. Beyond annoying. read more

This is by far the worst Starbucks I've ever been to. The only reason I still go is because it's the one closest to my house. I miss the Epping one near my old house, that's my favorite! Poor customer service but like the only relatively quiet coffee shop in Bedford that I know. I've noticed that people that work here in the evening are really rude and seem like they hate their jobs. One time I called in 30 mins to close and asked them if they were still open (because sometimes this one likes to close early.) And the man that answered snapped "why the hell would we be closing?" Second time I was in I ordered a coffee I had never tried before, asked the girl if she had tried it or if she heard it was good, and she said "I don't know do you want it or not?" Then when I returned to working on my computer, without headphones, I heard all the talking rudely about other people. Will update again if it continues to improve). I am trying to figure out why this is the slowest Starbucks I have ever been to. I showed up on a Sunday. I had 1 person in front of me. I ordered an ice coffee (no frills). I was waiting for 15 minutes. I couldn't figure it out at first. They only have to pour coffee on top of ice. But then I realized that they put my drink to the back of the queue as if it was one of these complicated double mocha choco-lata-yaya drinks. Other Starbucks treat the simple drinks (regular coffee, ice coffee) with priority since they are a quick pour. But this Starbucks treats them like specialty drinks. I used to think this Starbucks was great. However, in the last two/three months it has gone down hill. Only at this Starbucks when I order an iced soy latte I see chunky white soy protein at the bottom. I was told that some of the employees are just not shaking the soy milk well before making the drink....what I can't figure out is, why every other Starbucks I go to doesn't have this problem. The other issue with this is, the taste is different, and by the time I drive away and taste my drink( and notice that it taste off, and then I look at the bottom), I don't have time to drive back and get a new drink properly made. read more

I have been a loyal customer of the store at South River Road in Bedford NH for four and a half years. Unfortunately my relationship with this locaton will stop today due to extremely rude behavior by an employee named 'Trent'. Allow me to explain: I ordered a simple hot tea at the store through the drive-through window. The tea was prepared and kept at the window, an employee charged my card and left the tea sitting at the aisle. I waited (and i counted) for a full 20 minutes without any attention whatsoever by a bespectacled employee at the store who identified himself as 'Trent'. After 20 minutes of waiting and seeing my beverage just sitting there, my patience reached its limit and i waved my hand at the window to get his attention. With scornful eyes and a loud voice, Trent opened the window and offered me the beverage without giving any explanation behind the wait ( I could see that there were no other orders in the line and there were no vehicles behind me) Other employees at the store have been extremely helpful and welcoming and have offered me free beverages if i had to wait any longer than five minutes, just to give a point of reference. What made this experience especially painful is that my mother, who was sitting in the car's backseat, was coughing incessantly and was asking for water. I asked Trent for a glass of water and scornfully, he came back with a cup of water full of ice. I asked him if i could have tap water without ice due my mother's cough and he FLATLY said "NO, you have been extremely rude and I wont be serving you." This came as a shock to me as I have never experienced such poor customer service from ANY store in my LIFE, let alone Starbucks, which has a reputation for excellent customer service. When i asked to speak to a manager from the drive through window, Trent simply ignored whatever I said and shut the aisle window on me. Unfortunately, this shockingly bad experience at this store has forever soured my taste in starbucks product, and I will do my very best to spread the word and let my network of people know to look elsewhere or at least at another Starbucks location to get their beverages. I visit this Starbucks frequently because there isn't another cafe style Starbucks nearby. The one in Target has limited seating. If any Starbucks I visit, the one here in Bedford has the worst customer service. Last week, there were 13 people in line waiting to order. As Baristas making the orders passed the line, not one acknowledged the length of the line or apologized for the delay - it took me 20 minutes to get a coffee. Ridiculous. This is a great example of a brand overshadowing the importance of customer service. Because people can't get a SBUX elsewhere, in a cafe environment - they settle - as do I - for poor customer interaction and service. December 2. 6:00 AM. Drive through. Prior review above was made 13 days before December 2 update. No one and I mean no one is in line or in store. I ordered a grande blonde with xtra cream and stevia. Literally from order to receiving took at least 4 minutes. So I know that doesn't seem like a long wait time but honestly NO-ONE was there other than the drive thru window employee and the cash register employee who were talking amongst themselves when I got to the window and continued to talk to themselves for a good 45 seconds before they touched a coffee cup (mine) to fill. Then they fill it without a millimeter to spare so it drips on me when i go to drink it (that happened two days ago as well). The sad thing no one seems to care at this location that they have frustrated customers. I live in CA part time where Starbucks is huge and these guys could never come close to the service the West Coast provides. I'm sorry but this Starbucks isn't worthy yet they're the only one around here so I keep coming back. Go to South Willow and enjoy your Starbucks there if you can. They're wonderful and carry on the Starbucks experience beautifully. read more

When it comes to getting coffee, I actually enjoy going inside to order rather than the drive through. I find that the aroma and atmosphere is all part of the coffee buying experience. However, avoid the inside of this Starbucks at all costs. The baristas seem to be rude and annoyed that you have arrived, and most of the time I stand there watching them work for 3-5 mins before they even take my order. It makes me feel unwelcome and as if I am a nuisance. Totally not the vibe you want from your neighborhood Starbucks. If you are in the area, and want a Starbucks...only use the drive through at this location. Or just drive a little further and hit up another location altogether! I have been coming to this Starbucks basically every day for the past two years. The ONLY reason I come here is because of how convenient the location is to my work. most of the time when I come in I have a large order of coffee's because I work in a small office and I pick up everyones order. I've been to other Starbucks drive thrus where they will give away free coffees to people to clear the drive thru line -- never experienced that here and I wait minimum 15 minutes. Today I expected a line in the drive thru - only about 4-5 cars deep. What a day to be alive! I ordered a Trenta Strawberry Acai Refresher and a reduced fat turkey bacon english muffin. When I pulled up to the window my sandwich was ready to go and then the woman handed me a tall Strawberry Acai Refresher. I kindly let her know that I had ordered a trenta - she said "O" and shut the window. After 30 seconds she returned with my trenta which was clearly the tall poured into a trenta cup with ice and watered down. I've never gotten one of these drinks so light in color before which was a clear sign that they had just transferred the drink into a larger cup with extra ice and water. I love me some Starbucks. I also understand that good coffee takes some time. That being said, this has to be the SLOWEST Starbucks I've been to. Can't handle any sort of influx of customers without grinding to nearly a halt. Occasionally there will be a friendly face behind the counter with a "Hello" or "What can I get for you?" Usually the standard greeting is "Next!" from someone with the affect of a brick wall. I'll stop in from time to time if I'm in the area and hankering a coffee hoping to see some change in the quality of service......and I am continually let down. My best friend and I had gone to this Starbucks in Bedford The Bedford Target, Starbucks location is an absolute disgrace to the company of Starbucks and target. They were rude, and disrespectful making our experience a 0 star rating. When you come to Starbucks, you go for the experience with quality nice people and amazing beverages, that gives you "that first sip feeling" as there logo states on there plastic cups. When we went to that Starbucks inside Target they were poor in communication and drink making skills. Our drinks were about $6 each, and we went back to have them recorrect our beverage kindly and with pleases and thank you and they yet again messed up and didn't even say anything in response. So I told my best friend to drive to the main Starbucks location in Bedford, to see my regular friendly loving starbies fam to fix the drink and they apologized for the inconvenience and made sure we left happy.
