We were excited to come here and try the pearl/boba tea. There's ample parking outside in the mall. The interior is well appointed in stylish. The boba itself was actually quite good, which is a rarity. The issues for me were the high cost for the drink. The quality was just average, it was too sweet and the tea flavoring was minimal with a powdery milk taste overwhelmed it. Also, the the tea was served hot enough that the ice did not perform its cooling effect for several minutes. The lady that worked there was polite, and did a decent job... The Lord has answered my prayers. I moved to Manchester, NH almost 2 years ago and was pretty bummed out by the lack of Asian food...and especially the lack of bubble tea! I thought I had to give up my obsession. As a bubble tea addict who would make the 35-40 minute trek out to Lowell, MA or 50-60 minute trek out to Boston just for some decent bubble tea, Kung Fu Tea opening up in Manchester is a godsend. This KFT location in the up and coming South Willow Street's "The Shoppes" plaza is New Hampshire's first legitimate bubble tea joint. The Kung Fu Milk Green Tea is definitely my favorite - add bubbles and herbal jelly. I love the bubbles (AKA boba) here because they're sweet and chewy. I also recommend adding herbal jelly for that soft, jello-y texture plus it's low-cal compared to boba so why not? I'm no stranger to KFT since we have multiple locations where I'm originally from in Texas. KFT gives you options to customize your sweetness and ice level so if a drink is ever too sweet to you, just adjust it next time! When I'm not feeling milk tea I'll opt for passion fruit green tea 50% sweet with aloe vera. I'm not sure when their official grand opening date is but they are currently "soft opening". Boba was perfect- chewy, but not hard. They also use real tea. Milk cap is basically cheese foam. ( no, there's no cheese). Huge selection and you can customize sweetness level, as well as ice. I absolutely love them. The drinks are always great. The app they use doesn't always work. They won't take orders over the phone when the app is down, which is annoying. Depending on how many customers are already waiting, it can led to a lengthy wait when the app is down. One day the blender had broke so no frozen drinks were available. Ordered a large black tea (no milk) with boba yesterday-- it was nearly $7.00, which is exorbitant for such a drink in a town like Manchester. The tea was extremely bitter and cloudy indicating prolonged brewing times (or a bag left in the container?), and a high level of tannins. I stopped by the Kung Fu Tea on South Willow Street for an afternoon refreshment after work.There is long table seating along the wall across from the counter area. I ordered a Large Taro Milk Tea with Bubbles ($5.75), specifically less sweet (70%) and normal ice. The tea drink was refreshing, but was still a bit too sweet with nice chewy bobas in the drink. There are less sweet levels of half, little, and zero. I think next time, I'll get it unsweetened and add my own sugar if necessary. read more

Didn't even know they got the order, couldn't fulfill it, and could give me a refund. Thought it was a one off. Went back a second time months later and ordered one drink. They were out of boba and I wasn't going to wait 15 minutes. Asked for a refund, I was told I was given one, and still weeks later have not seen a refund. Staff acted like giving me a refund was an inconvenience and customer service is terrible. Will never be back. I will drive the 30 minutes to the next closest one if I want Kung Fu Tea. read more

Disappointed. I downloaded the app and charged up my account to $25. Ordered and paid for 3 drinks. When I arrived to pick them up, they only had 2. They didn't have what they needed for one of the drinks. It was busy. They said they would refund my money. Now it has been 2 weeks and I haven't received a dime. They're boba tea is to die for especially the strawberry lemonade. The music when I came in was amazing. They cover so many different genre of cultural music form K-Pop, V-Pop, Hip-Hop and lots rap music. The staff is amazing, service is little slow tho on busy days. I have been to other Kung fu teas in the south and never experienced the dissatisfaction I have at this location. We have been here three times in the last three weeks and twice have not been able to get what we came for the first time we wanted mango bubbles and they were out. This place is awesome! The workers are so friendly, and it's location is great. There's hardly any boba places in manchester, but this one takes the cake! I got the coffee boba and it was fantastic, but the drink my friend got was insanely sweet. Some drinks are hit or miss, but I think the fact that majority of the drinks are vegan makes this place super redeemable. Will be going back soon! read more
