My intentions were to finish it, but my husband had to help. The food was a perfect light breakfast packed with flavor, but the treats and lemonade had even more! Those Oreo cake balls were chefs kiss along with the lemonade... it was so fresh. Also, we didn't finish all of our treats in this outing, but since we took the cinnamon roll home we heated it up for 5 mins on 350... also chefs kiss. We've had days of grabbing a drink and sitting around in their soft seating reading a book. I've only had coffee and I think it's a good, basic coffee. I like mochas and I believe they use Ghirardelli syrup for those. The mocha tends to skew sweet, which is fine with me. They're not very rich drinks. There are also a lot of other flavors, which I think are your standard syrups (they can be fine and so many cafes use them, but they sometimes are a bit artificial tasting.) The staff is always friendly and accommodating.

Parking was plentiful, and I immediately found a spot and hurried on in 30 minutes before closing. A lot of regulars appear to esteem this business, I know because several people were working on a Saturday morning with their laptops and their coffee and the second I walked up to the bar the waitress was ready for my order before I hesitated and let her know I would need a few minutes since it was my first time there. She was very kind and let me take my time deciding and pointed out the normal offerings and the seasonal specials. The pumpkin spice stood out of course....but the apple latte also sounded so yummy and I must admit, It did take me a little bit to decide. I was able to ask a couple questions, including if they prepared the chai mix in house and which syrups were made in house. The chai mix was not prepared in house BUT the apple syrup, the pumpkin syrup and the vanilla syrup were all prepared in house! SCORE! I decided to get a hot apple latte with half almond milk and half oat milk. I had asked the waitress if the sweetener that they make is really sweet and she informed me it wasn't. So I didn't need to ask for my typical "half sweet". The second I took a sip, I was immediately so impressed with the flavor profiles, temp, and frothy bevvie. Seriously, it was very delicious. Thank you!! I can't wait to return and try another latte either outside on the benches and umbrellas offered or inside for a chill weekend morning vibe.

I was coming home from Gainesville and decided to take a detour home to try Mister French. The store is very small. A table or 2. Then the order counter and a lot of coffee machines and syrups behind it. I bought 2 Cinnamon Maple coffees. (One for my daughter in law). I took 3 sips of mine while the other was being made. It was tasty. Once I left and drove home, as the drink was closer to the bottom of the cup, the coffee grains (or prob the cinnamon) became really grainy, so much so, it was caught in my throat. I didnt like it. Made me remember why I make my own coffee. Less expensive. Not needing a tip and tastes good everytime. Glad for my self affirmation. Glad I do what I do.

I had to spread the cream cheese, place the capers, the lettuce, the tomato's, the salmon.., I had to make my own freaking sandwich!!! I tried The Kindred (named after Octavia Butler's now classic novel) which is a toasted honey latte. This had a wonderful blend of coffee and the sweet honey syrup. I also tried the Settlement latte which is named after the African American community in this part of Prince William County. If you want to grab something to eat, they also have breakfast and lunch food options as well. Vibes: One of the best parts of this coffee shop! It's more than getting a cup of coffee; they've put a lot of thought into the decorations here which celebrate Black authors and artists.
