There is a decent amount of seating inside. However, when I visited, every table except for one was occupied. I wanted to stay and work for a bit - but that one open table was right next to a large table of very loud children - and I needed a quieter environment to work. So I moved on. Service was good. Great coffee shop! The baristas are super friendly and helpful. The drinks are always yummy. They have coffee and non-coffee options. There are also some rotating specialty options! I had a pistachio lavender matcha latte that was lovely once. The baked goods are decent and have a good selection available. The inside is a very bright, modern vibe. I came in yesterday for an iced latte, which tasted like ice cream, so I asked if it could be remade or if a shot could be added as it was only milk/sweeter. The barista said he couldn't and I would need to pay and seemed very uncomfortable that I was asking (sorry my drink was not good) but eventually remade it after the other barista said it was ok to remake. They came out with a second drink that was just as sweet. Won't be revisiting -- I don't get how you can butcher a latte, I would've rather got a refund since I had to go elsewhere to get a coffee afterwards. :( read more

Haven't tried the actual shop yet but we get coffee just about every Sunday before church at the Mount. They have a shop in the lobby. And it's not a couple of jugs of coffee! Coffee Stop No. 354 My morning cortado was enjoyed in the company of two of my coffee buddies. They giggle and call me crazy when I tell them I went to 6 coffee shops in a day, but they are always the first to say, "Take me with you!" The Grounds Coffeehouse was one of the first places I put on my coffee shop lists two years ago, but for no particular reason I haven't made the time to get out it Stafford. Man, was I wrong to not prioritize this shop. The customer service is top notch. The cortado was fantastic. The shop is clean and welcoming. First time at Grounds Coffeehouse. The place was clean with good amount of seating space. After a hot hike, I was looking for quality iced espresso drinks. I was happy to see frozen espresso drinks but was partially concerned about it possibly being diluted. Decided to try it anyway and ordered frozen caramel macchiato with almond milk. The staff greeted me and quickly took our orders. The batista made the drink to the order I was utterly surprised on how good this was. The strength of espresso was prominent and the frozen drink was rich & icy. Great drink for a weather of 80 degrees. Definitely coming back! read more

Such a great little coffee shop! I had an iced white mocha and it was perfect. So many other places are obnoxiously sweet and end up leaving me feeling sick to my stomach, but that wasn't the case this time. A lot of shops also blare music making it difficult to have a conversation, but it was the perfect level here, and my friend and I could actually have a decent conversation. First visit on a Saturday morning and it was very pleasant! The pastries and hot tea selections were unique and plentiful. I am not a coffee drinker but my friend enjoyed the coffee flight. The staff were friendly and patience and we navigated our way through deciding which flavor coffee and tea to order. With no idea what I wanted to drink, I did my due diligence to take in the menu and finally settled on two drinks, yes two!! A cold brew and a hot chocolate freeze!! My cold brew was delectable!!! I always love when I can drink my coffee as is with no cream or sugar, to me that is the true test of a great coffee!!! The hot chocolate freeze is unlike anything I have ever had, I mean ever ever!!! I never knew a cold version of hot chocolate could taste sooooo good!!! As if the drinks were not enough let me tell you about another great find, the all mighty Stafford Cookie!!! Picture this, an oatmeal raisin cookie with craisins and white chocolate chips, if you are not drooling by now, you should be!!! The cookie was soft and broke into pieces easily and each bite was like a surprise in every bite!!! Will you get all the ingredients, some of the ingredients, none of ingredients, you literally have to keep eating the cookie to see what was next!! Then you find yourself thinking why on earth did you only buy one cookie!!!! (Note to self: buy two next time!!!) The staff was amazing!!! Service was quick and efficient!! I first learned of The Grounds in 2019 after searching for an escape that didn't have me feel like I was "stuck" in Stafford; The Grounds Coffeehouse offered just that. For the small town itself, The Grounds offers the best coffee. Located in the Stafford Complex the decor inside is light and airy. Their blend of choice comes from a local roastery in Columbus, Ohio known as Armando's Blend by Crimson Cup Coffee. Beautiful interior! The bright welcoming feeling at The Grounds Coffeehouse was great. They had several items of merchandise for sale as well. The menu was easy to read and aesthetically pleasing. They do not have oat milk but they do offer coconut and almond milk. I was very pleased that my iced Carmel coffee was not to sweet, as many other shops do. The grounds is right next to Walmart neighborhood market, making it easy to grab a coffee before you shop. read more

Let me start by acknowledging how beautiful the interior of this coffeehouse is! Everything is sparking clean, labeled and modern. It's very aesthetic and is a great place to take your friends to for a refreshment. I'm so glad to finally see such a cute coffeehouse in Stafford! There are a lot of options of coffee and tea, and they offer almond milk for those of us who don't like cows milk, so that's a huge plus! I went with the Vanilla Iced Latte and it was delicious. I also bought an adorable little mug that is perfect to take home and put espresso in. Let me tell you about this gem! Since moving from CA I have so been missing boutique coffee spots. I was at Walmart and just happened in here expecting another basic cup of coffee. Guys. WOW! This place is fabulous! First off my coffee was delectable and for a great price! Then the atmosphere and decor just blows you away! So well done. And as if it couldn't get better, both a male and female barista were the nicest, most beautiful people! Seriously, don't tell my husband but I'm in love. Update: I tried the baked goods and WOW! The chocolate chip cookie was soo good! And today I had this brownie. Out of this world! I'm pretty rough on coffee shops because they're everywhere. It seems like Starbucks is on every other corner, and all remaining corners are taken up by other folks selling burnt coffee. But The Grounds is a hidden gem. This place appears to focus on three things; quality coffee (from farm to cup), comfortable & clean environment, and very friendly service. The coffee here is high quality, and I'm talking about the black coffee and espresso. This is the base for all other drinks and what really matters at a coffee shop. If can't get this right, nothing else will matter. The environment is really clean and comfortable. It's not dark and dingy, it's a bright room with natural sunlight. If you're looking for somewhere to sit down and kill time, have a talk, or do work, I would recommend it. Lastly, I waited to write this review because the establishment is new, so the staff can be slow. It's all learning lessons though as the service has improved drastically. It's all on time though for staff as they improve. Moral of the story: if The Grounds is near your home, it's highly qualified (and highly recommended) to be your neighborhood coffee shop. read more

While out running errands on a Saturday, we stopped in to this new coffee shop on Rt610 to give them a try. I really liked the "white out" style of décor inside, it was trendy and reminds me of a country dining room. They have an interesting drink menu and also serve some baked goodies. I chose their pumpkin cookie and it was really tasty, but way too small for the price of $2 each. (BTW - all cookies were $2 each, whether it was this little cookie or their harvest cookie which was nearly 3 times bigger). We ordered a couple of Americanos which seemed to take forever to make. We even commented to each other on the amount of time we were waiting. The espresso in the drink was nice, but overall it needed another shot as it was way too weak, and I drink mine black. This was still a decent visit and we chalk the few concerns we had up to being new... We'll probably return in a couple of months and see if things have improved. read more

A local favorite of mine. The service is always friendly and you can always find their tables occupied with students or workers no matter the day or time. I love their mayan mocha. But my favorite that i didn't expect is that caramel machiatto. I usually stray away from these because most places use a caramel that is just sickly sweet.
