Usually, if I go at the right time, my order is right. Very upsetting & disappointed with service! Right off from the start of ordering coffee, service sounded irritated, didn't have certain items. You can hear the huffing and puffing of the irritation of them closing within the 10 min time frame I arrived in drive thru and they received my order with 5min to close due to her being frustrated while taking order. Ordered a Grande Iced Caramel Macchiato Upside down came with no ice and was only half way filled majority was foam & didn't fulfill order correctly! Mind you, I haven't even had a sip of my coffee yet. I have stopped here many times but never went inside. Its not in the best area but a least its on the other side of the street from the truck stop. Today I just want to give thanks for allowing me to use the restroom without buying something first or giving me drama. They accommodated me and I was so thankful. I really had to go LOL. I wish I would have read the reviews before coming here. I'm not even worried about the wait. Although we waited in the drive through for more than 20 minutes. If the drinks were made correctly I would have given it at least 3 stars. But they messed up our strawberry refresher and put berries in it. When we asked for it to be remade, they did but when they handed the new one it was so much lighter in color. When we tried it, it tasted like water. Super bummed. read more

I'm shocked to see this place have such low ratings & I need to set the record straight! This place was renovated so it's now a small, cute and tidy coffee shop! The baristas are all amazing they even memorize your drink, if your a regular like me! You can never go wrong when you get Ashely, Jessica or Jason and those are the names of people I have learned! Everyone there is always readily to greet you. Since, I hang out there often I have witnesses the baristas greet a guy with a parrot by name including his drink of choice! (Really cool parrot by the way) So this Starbucks has nice people and fast pace coffee. Trust me I know ! As a self- proclaimed "Starbucks junkie" I have experienced SO MUCH Starbucks all over Bakersfield and have gotten some absurd comments including the "do you want me to put the Splenda in there for you? Location can never get the order correct and they don't have the patience to train the new workers and leave them like a deer in headlights

I have been here many times as this is on the way up to see the grandkids so we frequent this location. On my last visit I opted to go in since the drive thru line was long and I don't mind going inside. I was greeted by a very friendly barista who took my order. Then it began. I waited and waited and waited. Took some photos that I posted. Waited then one of them said I'm sorry your order is just now getting the shots pulled. This is after two other people came in ordered blended drinks and got theirs and left, mine were just iced coffee drinks. WTH Really? The barista that waited on me never said boo to me, never looked at me again just kept refilling bottles and the gal making drinks looked at me once and said sorry I'm pulling your shots right now it will be a minute. My husband even got out of the car came in to see what happened? I was in there for 15 minutes for two drinks I guess I will use the drive thru next time because going inside is a sure mistake. read more

Got my coffee in a timely manner, everything was fine. Got my peppermint mocha and asked for an additional small cup of whipped cream. The barista looked at me strange and asked "why?" And I explained that I put the whip cream on the top of my drink once the one it currently has melts (I'm on a long 3.5 hour drive & want to enjoy my coffee WITH whipped cream for longer). He says "Yeahhh... I can't really do that". I said okay and left because I'm way too exhausted to start an issue but this Starbucks needs better training. I always ask for a small cup of whip cream, and I always get told yes. I've even been asked to pay a small fee (which I totally get) and that's fine. The slowest Starbucks I've ever been too. drive through took 40 minutes and it was only about 5-6 cars. Couldn't leave since I was already locked in the drive through with cars behind me. I went inside and ordered 2 drinks, a lemon loaf and spinach wrap. 5 employees standing around, talking and laughing so loudly, I could hardly hear my order being repeated, and the amount owed. The 2 drinks were made and presented to me. Then nothing... no one doing a thing to complete my order. I asked a gentleman about it, and he just past the buck to someone else....still nothing!!! This is my official "road-trip East" Starbucks. It's perfectly situated to pick up my favorite caffeinated drink on the way out of town whenever I'm headed to Tehachapi, Las Vegas, Lancaster / Palmdale, or even just a trip to visit my mom in Arvin. And, yes, a Starbucks drink is part of my ritual for pretty much every road trip ever. This is also a great location to pick up a drink to help keep me going that last little bit on the way home, too! I've never been inside this Starbucks (negatively affects your ETA on a road trip - just joking) but I've always received good service from the employees who work the drive-thru. My drinks have always been prepared properly, even when I ask for complicated drinks. One of my favorite drinks is a grande americano with 3 inches of steamed breve and 4 pumps of sugar free vanilla syrup and it's always come out perfectly. read more

Going to Starbucks is a treat for me. However every single time I visit THIS particular location I am reminded why I avoid it. I placed my entire order and the barista repeated it to me and then at the end of the order said "I'm sorry can you repeat your entire order my mind just went blank." Ok?! It's been a while ... Enjoying a much needed white mocha fix !!! This location is located perfectly on and off highway 58 and weed patch highway . The baristas are always chipper and seem to enjoy what they do. This like most Starbucks can get very busy. But have to say even when the line was wrapped around the building , they really kept it together . Knocked the orders out and with a smile :-D Also wanted to add that when I ordered a recipe drink , they didn't give me am did look ( some places give you this ugh don't break my routine look ) she smiled and said how interesting compared it to a recipe she knew about. Went thru drive through for a hot coffee with flavor and whip cream. First had to wait sooo long, then it taste like hot water with no whip. They don't put a safety cardboard so its burning my hand.
