Blue Front is a smaller coffee shop but they still have tables and seating that includes all sort of comfy chairs. They have wifi and power and that let me get some work done this morning for a couple of hours. I did try my usual cortado and cheers to the barista who was unfamiliar with the concept and tried hard. It's a small glass - only two shots of espresso with an equivalent amount of steamed (not foamed) milk. What I had this morning was closer to a latte with very little foam. They looked at me like I was dumb and said she passed away. Not wanting to make it awkward we completed our order, gave our condolences, and waited. Only to my dismay to hear the employees talking rudely and badly about not only me but the previous customers who've asked questions about the deceased within earshot. As we were leaving the dark haired girl with tattoos was smoking outside with another employee and pointed to our car and stared at us as we drove away. I will never come back to this location until everyone can learn to fix their attitudes and not talk rudely about customers right in front of them or at all.

Usually it's that it takes forever I'm not one to kvetch about a missed ketchup packet or order that's not 100% accurate when we're talking about a fast food franchise. That said, this one has been consistently the slowest and most inaccurate location I've known. It's been that way, that I know of, for a few years. The plusses include that they hire a bunch of kids without experience, train them, and put them alongside other workers who would struggle to get a job elsewhere. I mean, how many people do we all know that get their first paid gig at a McDonald's? A bunch, right? It's the same here. We have young humans in our orbit who love it here. They knew when special menu items drop. They think it's a treat to get a Happy (or other) Meal. So, we aren't going to swear off of the place. Ill probably continue to grumble about it, until/unless they pick up the pace and get more things correct and corrected.

They have lots of food items here to choose from. Although, it's always alittle bit of a smoky smell when I walk in, like something has been burnt, that's the only thing I don't care about. So if you have a real sensitive allergy with smoke or smells of smoke use caution coming in here. Otherwise lots of grassy space to walk your furbabies and room to maneuver around. So if you have a camper, it's good to bring it in here. They have diesel pumps on the far end as your coming in.
