That goes for every one of these locations. But they do know how to make a hot chocolate. And it's close to the highway so that's good. Every time we've stopped by, ONE thing is consistent: "Sorry, that's ALL the doughnuts we have." Doesn't matter if they're busy or not, doesn't matter if just after they've opened -or- it's still 3 hrs until closing. You won't find a good variety of doughnuts, instead you'll typically see about a dozen leftover doughnuts on 12 different trays. The employees are very, very very rude especially a lady named Brooke. I know it's the morning and you guys are busy but that's no excuse to have a crappy attitude towards your customers when they ask for a simple additional amount of almond milk that I have to already pay extra for if I already have to pay extra for something that literally I have no control over because it's not a dietary thing. It's an allergen! You should at least give the same amount that she would to anybody that drinks cows milk. Oh my gosh? This place is sllllooowwwwwwww. I guess they don't feel that people who are traveling are in a rush. I pulled into the drive thru and was immediately asked to hold on. The hold took so long that I ended up placing my car in park. I sat for at least 10 minutes. I wanted to leave but a car pulled in behind me. I was finally able to place my order. The glazed donuts are good but cold. I asked if they could heat them up and they said no. Customer service could have been better. She could have smiled too. I like my donuts heated and soft. Excellent donuts as I took them home and heated them up in my microwave. Dunkin Donuts gets a solid 3 stars from me on this visit. That's why I highly recommend this donut shop. It's located on the right side of a service station / convenience store. So, it can easily be missed. Bathrooms are located in the service station. Went in to get doughnuts and waited for ten minutes while the 5 people working there were only interested in the drive thru. Never even said hi or just a minute. After about 6 hours of driving we decided to stop and get some of dunkin's delicious coffee. We walked in, and we were not greeted by either worker. The young man working was extremely rude and unprofessional. Headphones in the entire time. It was very apparent he did not want to be there. After ordering, we received our coffee, and long story short, the coffee was disgusting. After we told the employees to have a great night before we left, the female responded, but the male employee wasn't nice enough to care. To the manager of this store, you should teach your employees a little customer service, starting with a simple hello and goodbye. They don't have to ask how my day was, just a little common curtesy and respect towards humans and acknowledge their existence in the store they're spending money in. I never left this review, but I really think everyone should know to check their food as I went though a couple weeks ago and ordered some bacon... this ish was COVERED in some white hair substance. There is no way this was an accident... this was purposely done. If this happens to you, contact the health department and let them know, as I have already done. Dunkin' in Athens TN ordered a lg coffee and a medium got to the window they thought I said 5 lg coffees told them no just one girl keep saying she said 5 I made the statement she should have stayed blonde cause at least she could hear then, she then proceeded to tell me I needed to start going to Starbucks I asked to speak to the manager which she said she was and told me if I didn't leave her drive through she would call the police. Finally an establishment that will hopefully last in this section of the Shell station that has seen the likes of Dairy Queen, some chicken place, another chicken place, and a Japanese place all fail. It took them a few weeks to get the correct balance of coffee, cream, and sugar, but they've got it down pat, now. Very friendly employees and managers. Not like the typical Dunkin where you get stared at and practically have to speak a different language to understand them. I'm sure this will get bumped to 5 stars, eventually, but they still have to work out a few kinks, like having NO muffins available at 10am one morning, and not ensuring several doughnut selections were ready when the first batch was depleted. read more

Went yesterday, Feb. 5th 2018. Waited about 10 min for service. Was first In line. Most employees working on drive thru, must have been a big order only 1 car. Got 1 dozen donuts ,variety. Then got 25 count donut holes. They were old & stale ,the donuts & the donut holes. The donut holes were actually hard. Should have taken them back but I live about 20 miles away. i love this location and i travel for work to knoxville so i'm so grateful they remained open. however this morning when i went i ordered and they kind of seemed to be mocking my accent when i ordered because it got progressively more blatantly southern but i kind of just ignored it. when i got to the window i gave her my card and i literally jumped at how loud she screamed "your card was declined!" it was really embarrassing and frustrating because i had plenty to cover it but i just gave her my credit card instead because i was too embarrassed to ask her to try again. she handed me my food after and then just walked away and i wasn't sure if the order was over so i sat there until another lady said i was good to go. i usually love this place but i was really not satisfied this time with this staff. the food and coffee were great though as always on the bright side !! and i usually love their staff so that's why i'm giving four stars today was just not really acceptable. read more

This is the sorriest owner and manager of any business in Athens, about 3 months after they open we order the large order of jelly filled donut holes. They were so bad it was not even funny. no jelly in the holes, just a jelly dot that was all. We contacted Dunkin Donuts about this and was told the owner & manager would be told about this. We never heard from the owner or the manager, so this is a very bad place to do business they do not care if there customers are happy or not. It was a shame to as I fought for years to get a Dunkin Donuts to come to Athens, As I have always loved there donuts. So now I am doing like we use to do when we go on vacation to IN we stop and get our Dunking Donuts there. We have not been back the Athens Dunkin Donuts since this happened and they do not seem to care. Until that happen we were getting a lot of Donuts every other week. I have a heart condition, and I cannot tolerate caffeine. When I placed my order for a decaf iced coffee, I said the word decaf TWICE. Either the lady taking my order didn't care or didn't listen. After I drank a couple sips, the symptoms of my heart condition worsened drastically, and I knew I had been given caffeine. I'm in for a long and painful night ahead of me until this caffeine leaves my system. What she did was careless, dangerous, and reckless. If I had drank the rest of the coffee, I'd be typing this review from a hospital. Do not go here if you care about your body. read more
