After the majority of our ride was done we decided to start looking for a place to stop, and were blessed enough to come across this little place called King Donuts. Food wise - amazing. I had a bacon, egg and cheese croissant that was so good and fresh it was to die for. We also got a donut with fruity pebbles on top. Literally THE BEST donut I have ever had. Wow. So moist and sweet and flavorful and delicious. Next trip to TN I will drive all the way to Dunlap just for these amazing donuts, no lie. Afterwards we talked to one of the owners and she told me how important it was to them to focus on quality ingredients which I thought was really cool and very evident in the quality of all we got. We learned the couple that owns the shop gets up in the early AM to make all those donuts themselves! You can taste the quality and decidication. What was really cool was the people! We had nice long conversations with the owners who made us Florida people feel so welcome and even helped us get to know the area a little better. Even the local customers in there had such friendly faces and talked with us, it was truly a great way to get a taste of the area. They directed us on our trip, told us about their life and all the fun places to go in TN! God bless you and your business all in the name of Jesus Christ!
