Always busy. Very slow drive thru. The drive thru line goes around the building and it prevents customers from getting out of the lot.Parking is horrible if you want to go in. They serve drive thru before in store customers and tell you that when you walk in. However they always get the drinks right, if they have the ingredients in stock. This Starbucks is a busier location so the chances that you'll wait longer for your order are high, but the staff handle drive-thru and in-store orders well. I've never had an order mistake. I was happy to see that there was a vegan box, it was my first time trying it and I was pleased that it's sufficient enough to be a lunch. On July 24, 2024, at 7:20 PM, I visited Starbucks at 1761 Epps Bridge Parkway, Athens, GA, during a thunderstorm. The drive-thru had no awning. To avoid rain entering my vehicle, I drove to the window to order, turning off my wipers to avoid soaking the employee. A blonde female with tattoos asked if I ordered at the window. I explained the situation. She acknowledged the weather but rudely told me to drive around and use the speaker, then shut the window. Instead I left and took my business elsewhere. As a loyal customer for nearly 40 years, this employee's behavior did not reflect the customer-friendly environment I expect from Starbucks. You can and should do better. read more

This is the third time on random mornings I go to this establishment and also the one in the beechwood shopping center and the outside lights are off. You can't see the menu ! I have been ordering a London fog latte, and requesting that there be vanilla in there (per what the recipe calls for) and every time even when I specifically ask for it, there is still no vanilla. These has happened 4-5 times now, it's a touch frustrating, and even if I mobile order and put vanilla on there still none. I can't have caffeine, but I enjoy the taste and ritual of drinking coffee. Other Starbucks locations pretty much always get my order right. Here, I've received caffeine instead of decaf on more than one occasion. After spending the whole morning yesterday being on the verge of panic attacks from what is an extreme amount of caffeine for me, I went on to lay in bad awake most of the night. Food: 2/5 the so-called smoked turkey "protein box" has mostly carbs (bread, carrots, apple slices) with the only protein being 4 tiny pieces of turkey and 4 tiny slim slices of Swiss (1"x 1 1/2") there was supposed to be lettuce but I found a tiny shriveled green thing on one sandwich. Clay is very helpful if you have trouble with the app. Location: 3/5 near a busy street but somewhat difficult to get to and minimal convenient parking unless you park in the back. Does have outdoor tables on the sunny side with umbrellas Facility: older and tired for a Starbucks: Pleather chairs have sagging seats, footrests are raveling and dirty, tables, chairs& floor have crumbs. Tables not crowded together. Noise level not music level could be lowered to help people hear conversations. Servers have to speak loudly to each other to be heard over the music and then patrons have to speak louder to talk over the noise. My wife and I came in this morning and it was completely packed out. There was a full drive through line, tons of mobile orders, and a packed out cafe. Every employee maintained a posture attitude and provided awesome service. All of our food and coffee orders were correct and the store seemed like it was running like a well oiled machine. i like this location for its plentiful seatings and outlets. It is always loud and packed with college students. The tables could definitely be a little bit more cleaner, and i do feel like with the amount of baristas working here there could definitely be a little bit better efficiency in terms of speed. I have stopped by here quite often, and I must say, the baristas are very nice and very prompt with their orders. So far, this particular Starbucks has not disappointed me. This is my favorite Starbucks in town. The staff is friendly and they are quick! Most of the time I go through the drive thru, and I'm usually through it in less than 5 minutes --even in long lines. If you go inside there is a good bit of seating despite the size, and it's always very clean. The location is very convenient to the new theater and multitude of shops!! Love it! read more

I call this the highway Starbucks because it's off of 316, near a lot of shopping and more people use the drive-through than the inside. They take care of business here because of the traffic. Often very busy with long wait times. I've had long wait times at other Starbucks drive-thrus and the staff is apologetic and sometimes provides a free drink coupon. Never at this location. For some reason, this Starbucks doesn't seem to have the service of the one located a few miles NW along Atlanta Hwy. There, the service is always prompt and friendly and the beverages taste good. Here, especially in the drive-thru, the drinks are subpar. I get an Americano and at this location it is always weak, while at the other location I mentioned above it is always full of flavor. Seating inside is average and often full. Outside in the summer, the umbrellas aren't positioned to be much help with the sun. Overall it is average. If you have the time, drive a few more miles to the other location on the west side. read more

This is my second favorite Starbucks. Every time I pull up in the mornings the baristas are so incredibly nice. All the items are on point. You're paying for the best. I always appreciate the warmth and kindness I receive with my morning coffee. Also any special requests I have (such as extra caramel or espresso shots) they are happy to provide. read more

I was going through the drive thru to get an ice coffee. I was the only person in line. This white truck came barreling around me and up to the window. I heard him tell the cashier that he just cut on line in front of me. He could see that I was giving him a cold stare. He just waved at me, laughed, and said something to the cashier who looked at me and also laughed. Two minutes later, she handed him something and he drove away. When I drove up to the window, I asked the cashier what that was all about. She laughed again and said "Oh, that was just the manager. He needed to get some paperwork." So this asshole wheeled it around me and made me wait for my coffee rather than just wait his turn in an otherwise empty line. AND he made jokes to the cashier about me when he could see that it upset me. I will NEVER buy coffee there again. read more

I'm just glad that they get my order right almost half the time I come here. Perhaps if the woman with, according to Starbucks's dress code, far too many piercings would stop talking to some of her regular customers at the handoff plane, the other baristas wouldn't have to work around her and would be more able to focus on their drinks. But, whether the drink is made incorrectly or not, they usually do provide quick service, so I guess there's that. read more
