Lovely Starbucks location with even more lovely staff. Hundred percent agree that parking and driving in and out of here is awful. But that's not the Starbucks, that's the location. This is much more of a summer store. They have a whole patio that I really adore when the weather is warm. Right now since it's winter they have taken measures to close it in, but I still found it a little awkward and cold to sit at. The indoors is quite limited for seating, but I was happy to find a chair while I waited. I came in wanting Christmas blend, but they only had Pike available. They asked if I wanted to pour over and I said heck yes. They made me pour over in about five minutes. I hate that they don't have cream out anymore but I guess it is better? I do wish they would ask because I ordered a grande coffee and while it was nice they filled my mug to the brim, I did want cream. Oh well. As I sat here, I noticed the staff engaging with a lot of people. It had a great regular community feel. Super clean bathrooms and store. read more

Fast service and friendly staff. The first time I was There I used the restroom and when I came out had about 5 customers ahead of me. I had a couple minute wait while the manager put new paper in the register before giving my order. When I picked up my order the young woman apologized for the wait and thanked me. I didn't even think I waited that long as I've been to busier Starbucks with waits of 15 minutes. She was sweet. Returned the next day to pick up a drink for our way out of town. I stopped here for a coffee before my hour drive back home. This is one of the more updated Starbucks I've seen. The shop was clean with lots of space for everyone. The baristas were kind and my nitro coffee came out quick! It tasted delicious as well. Also, lots of parking but kinda tricky to get into the lot. Watch out for cars! Good luck! read more

Never been to a Starbucks where the staff acted like they could care less that people were waiting for their drinks. We waited over 20 minutes for our drinks and there were probably only 4 other people in the whole Starbucks. Our Starbucks back home puts this location to shame. Additionally, there was a whole lot of talk amongst the staff about the spelling of my name. Making fun of it and trying to figure out how to pronounce it. They were saying it quietly I am sure not wanting me to hear but I could hear everything. It wasn't a polite "how do I say this name", it was definitely making fun of me and I really didn't appreciate it. My name is not even that difficult..... My coffee was definitely not great either. A laid back although busy Starbucks. The staff is cheerful and accommodating. Lots of comfortable seating to sit, sip, work or converse with friends. Love the heated patio. The Cordusio Mocha had an enjoyable taste of dark chocolate with a creamy espresso. It was very good! The brewed chai tea was very hot and delicious. An excellent place to pick up Starbucks Merch. They have the best selection of any Starbucks store I've been to. They also had every Pastry/Food option you can think of! The case was filled with all sorts of yummy options. We were visiting Asheville for the weekend. We were at a hotel on Tunnel Road and I needed Starbucks in my life to start my morning. Our waze took us to this location which was in Biltmore Village. This location does not have a drive thru. No problem for us but heads up! There is a ton of parking and it is easy to get in and out of. They do have curb side pickup I noticed. It is a super cute location and it was clean and modern. I appreciated customers having to wear a mask. If you didn't have one they do provide you with one. For a Starbucks, this is a pretty good one. There is an awesome semi outdoor seating area. The reason I say semi is because they have canvas and plastic surrounding it. This is nice since if it's raining, you won't get wet and if it's really sunny you won't get burnt. With the doors tied open, you get a nice breeze still. It's like a big patio or sun room. Inside has seating as well but no big long tables inside. There is a large table outside. I found large tables at starbucks useful for group meetings. Parking is great too. They have a large parking lot all to them selves. The building is cool and matches the surrounding Biltmore Village. No drive thru read more

This Starbucks is the BEST in Asheville!! This morning Tristan greeted me with a smile and quick, but pleasant conversation. Last week, the delightful barista with the pink hair was just as lovely!! These days when people are using COVID as an excuse to ignore other human beings, it is incredibly refreshing to walk into this store and remember what true customer service looks like. It's a Starbucks. So what you see is what you get. More often than not they get my drink correct and enjoy my time there. They have a very nice patio which is great during the spring and fall but not very well heated during the winter. I'd suggest using the SB ap to order on weekends as the place tends to get overrun with tourists. read more

This is a wonderful Starbucks, with ample outdoor seating and fabulous employees! The interior is quite small, so in inclement weather, it may be hard to snag an indoor seat, or grab a table with outlet access for a laptop. It's Starbucks, so I love it. I crave it, I need it. There are only a few in Asheville (2 free-standing that I know of, the rest are in larger stores), so I visit this location quite a bit, especially because I always find myself in this part of town. It meets all of my expectations as a Starbucks. So i won't rate it based on any of the Starbucks standards you have come to expect. What I will tell you is that this location is not as convenient as others. It does not offer a drive-thru (likely due to location otherwise known as what Biltmore Village says goes) and the parking is a pain due to the small lot and awkward layout. But, when you are in the area and need a fix, this location won't disappoint. The staff will take care you, they are very pleasant (as most Asheville folk are) and they always get my order just right. Can't say the same for some other spots. But that said, I would rather run in to the Starbucks kiosk/in-store counter at a nearby Ingles/Barnes &Noble/Target, than navigate the parking lot here if I have the option. I mean, either way I have to run out right, so why not seek the one with better parking? read more

It's a Starbucks, chances are if you're reading this you're probably already familiar with Starbucks itself so I won't bother reviewing the chain itself. As others have noted parking is a huge pain. Not much parking, and traffic around the building is heavy as it is (or at least it was when I was there, a Saturday evening) which didn't help. I just parked in another lot and hoofed it. The service is very nice, the barista who took my order and made my drink was very friendly and of course made my drink perfectly. He was super awesome. There's seating inside and outside, and even this time of year it's still possible to sit outside, as it's now covered and there's heat lamps on the ceiling to provide some warmth. You're still exposed to the cold via the entrances from the parking lots (think of it as two eternal open doors) and the fact that the wall coverings are plastic which surely don't insulate as well, but it's definitely better than nothing. Plus, sitting out there drinking my coffee, I felt fine even though it was cold. read more

Rudest most stand off staff in all of Asheville. When I asked if the food on the counter was mine she responded "read the sticker" there was no sticker on the drinks and I ordered cold coffee's and these were clearly hot. When I told her there was no stickers she just reported that that meant she did not make them and couldn't tell us. We're not even sure if we took the wrong order if they made our order wrong. read more

Great service, friendly staff. The only negative thing I have to say about this Starbucks is regarding the parking. The parking is BAD. Every time I come here I find myself struggling to maneuver around other vehicles and squish into the tiny spots. The first time I tried coming here I struggled so much in the parking lot I decided to go somewhere else completely. I used to be in Starbucks so often one or the employees challenged me to fill every option box on the cup. The day I did, I loved it. Now every Starbucks employee hates me and I sound like a total weenie ordering but when they get it right it's perfect. I just moved here and this is my closest Starbucks. Through gritted toothy smiles, these coffee professionals impressively almost always get my complex and crazy drink right. I absolutely love this particular Starbucks because of the vicinity to my house. I cannot rightly give it 5 stars, though, because of the parking lot situation, which was not designed well. To their defense, that entire area is a circus so I can understand it. It is a super busy location and almost always has a line to the door during peak times. I recommend using the mobile ordering app to avoid the line. Seating options are limited inside, but they have a decently-sized patio area. My drinks are always made correctly. This is one of my favorite Starbucks locations across the country. I always stop here when traveling. It's a quick little jaunt off I-40, the restrooms are always immaculate, and the staff Is super friendly. I wish this Starbucks was near me, not four hours away! There's tons of indoor and outdoor seating, the tables aren't on top of one another, the store is always kept super clean and my order is always accurate. Plus their selection of grab and go food and beverage options is always well stocked. This place can be a bit packed during peak season for the Biltmore, but it's definitely a little oasis for travelers needing a break going through town and a clean and recharging place to get a solid cup of coffee and something other than fast food on the road. I hope this location continues to stay super clean and well managed for years and years to come to continue making travels through Asheville along I-40 perfect. read more
