Fast, friendly, and efficient this Starbucks gets the job done whenever I have a crave for a coffee. They are quite busy with tons of in-store and carryout orders but still manage to take care of the customers in a reasonable amount of time. I like the setup of this spot as the parking / drive through are a bit more spacious than in some other locations which seem a bit cramped. The sit in area isn't enormous but the layout also makes it a pretty comfortable place to sit down and enjoy your drink as well. read more

While I consider most Starbucks to be very consistent, the experience here was a little bit different. They ask you for your name at the point of order because I use a Starbucks app to pay. They automatically generate your name correctly onto your drink orders. Oddly, though this Starbucks did not actually call out names of the drinks when they were ready, nor do they actually call out the actual drink Order when it was ready. I ended up fighting myself sitting here for over 13 minutes waiting to see if my drink was coming out till finally I got up approached the bar area and started inspecting cups and there were my drinks. The good thing about the Starbucks is its location. It's convenience of parking as well as the drive-through option. The barista or partner, who took my order was super friendly, and even made us aware about a Bogo that I had no clue about. I was the only customer standing at the counter. No acknowledgement that I was there. The drive thru was getting attention. I finally asked if an actual customer in the store can get helped. The young girl didn't say a thing, she walked to two other coworkers and said something quietly. Still, no acknowledgement. The young man did come over and help, he was very nice. Poor customer service. Wake up corporate HR to the kids with poor social and customer service skills that work for your company. I bought 3 bags of coffee beans (over $50) and the kid at the register asks me if I want a bag, I said "yes" and then proceeds to lay the bag down next to my 3 bags of beans, hand me my receipt, thank me and walk away!! She should have put my $50+ worth of beans in the bag, handed me the bag with a smile on her face and THEN thanked me. Do not go here! Worst Starbucks location ever. Very unprofessional staff. They do not know how to make coffee here. I asked for a sugar cookie late, their "featured" drink of the season and they don't know how to make it here. I drink it all the time and I know what it's suppose to taste like. I asked them to redo it, they did but when the African American guy made it he just threw it on the counter and some coffee spilled and didn't even call my name. The late was bitter and disgusting again. They asked me what I wanted, I said I wanted a sugar cookie late but since they don't know how to make it, to give me a vanilla late instead and guess what?! It was disgusting too but I had no time to deal with this and had to leave. My favorite Starbucks right by my house. It's quick & easy to get in and out of the drive thru....most of the time! Some mornings the line can get absolutely insane. Pro-Tip: If you're going through the drive thru, order two drinks max. If you have an order of 8 speciality drinks for you and your coworkers, please go inside to order. It's pretty darn rude to hold up an entire drive thru line of mostly 1-2 item orders for your complicated huge order. The design of the drive thru is pretty wackadoo also & takes some maneuvering to get into it so exercise caution. So many people don't use turn signals going in & out of this location for some reason so exercise caution with that, as well! You're probably thinking to yourself...Sarah, you crazy bird....none of this is sounding great, why in the heck is this your favorite location!? It all hinges on this one guy who works the drive thru some mornings. I believe his name is Scott and he's always so happy, so friendly and just seems high on life. Just having my 5 second exchange with him in the morning can brighten up my day - that's how magnetic his personality is! As compared to other Starbucks, the only thing I'd say is that the drive thru here is consistently slow. One time I went there at 6:30 and it wasn't even open, but there were cars lined up in the drive thru -- so not sure what was up with that - as other times they've been open at that time. Another time I ordered 2 kids hot chocolates and 1 peppermint mocha, and they gave us 3 hot chocolates. I had to bring it back which took another half hour out of my day. I also concur with the other review where the employees bad mouth others. Check your drinks before you leave, be prepared for it to not be lightening fast, and you should be good to go. read more

Where do I begin. Although I am a fan of Starbucks coffee, one area Starbucks and this location fails at miserably is the drive thru experience. Any logistics expert can tell you is Starbucks' drive thru needs some improvement. Anytime I have gone through this locations drive thru it takes more than 15 mins until I get my simple coffee order. To be an efficient coffee drive thru, only coffee should be offered and for all other orders those should be placed inside because it's usually those orders that cause for a LONG wait time for all of us. Another option if large orders continue to be accepted (in the drive thru) they should pay and pull off to the side while you complete the order and bring it to them outside. This will keep the line moving, making for a better user experience and for more of us likely to return. If you want more business you should seriously consider making some drive thru changes. I won't be back until you make those changes. read more

Usually I wouldn't write a review but this is not the first or third time that I've had the following experience. I can count on my hand how many times I've been given my correct order the first time in this drive-thru. Today was another instance where I asked for one thing and received another. If it was for me, I wouldn't care as much but it was for my kid who is an extremely picky eater. And by the time I realized it, I was back home. For the amount of money Starbucks charges, the employees could at least verify the order. Especially in one of the slowest locations where we have to wait in a line that wraps around the building only to then be given the wrong thing. read more

I really like this Starbucks. The baristas are all very friendly and patient. Even more impressive when you consider that this particular SB is the busiest in the burbs. The drive thru is amazingly fast and I only chose to come into the store today to see if they had he $3 Grande Caramel Crunch Frapp special. They didn't which is a bummer but eh, it's good. I feel like with caramel it's either too buttery or too sweet and this drink gets it just right. Just enough of both to make you want to come back and get another one or I my case i wish I had gone larger. For such a busy store there is always a place to sit either inside or outside. More seating outside than inside: most places freeze you out if your indoors but it's a cozy 70ish. This location is very hit or miss with the quality of beverages and service. At best, it's fine. I've had 2 bad experiences in as many months. First, I ordered 2 hot coffee drinks and a muffin via the online ordering. I came in to the restaurant 10 minutes later - 2 coffees, no muffin. After waiting for 25 minutes (they knew I was there and why), I finally got my muffin. I also asked for 2 fresh, HOT coffee drinks which they gave me with no problem. Today, I ordered an iced green latté. Forgot to say "light ice", but I feel that they should ask you that. What I got was a cup of ice with some green milk and lots of matcha powder at the bottom. I'm a former Starbucks employee (shift supervisor for 2 years), so I have to say that I'm a bit on the critical side when it comes to service and quality. Unfortunately, this location has earned a reputation with me for being a bit slow and inaccurate. I have noticed that it has gotten better in the past year, and my frustrations are generally focused on one or two employees. My two-star rating is based on a few things. I am basing my rating first on relativity in comparison to other Starbucks locations, because honestly, who doesn't know the quality of Starbucks overall? Second, being a chain, there should be some level of uniformity when it comes to taste and quality, but the big variable is in construction...meaning the barista. There are a few employees who I'm excited to see at the bar or register, but overall, I've noticed that their service can be snippy or just apathetic. In addition, there have been countless times where I've gotten the wrong order (who writes "2 pumps" when I clearly asked for "1 pump"?). In the grand scheme of Starbucks, this is a good location, so I'm willing to go there, but if I have a choice (and I'm not on my way to work), I wouldn't choose this one. read more

I really love this place! This Starbucks at this area was so clean, nice, and very comfortable. The whole place is so bright and huge. They also have parking lot. You can really enjoy the whole place and feel relax. Very friendly and decent place. They have so many variety and selection of drinks flavors to choose from. The quality of their beverages here are so great! They are also cheaper than other stores around the area. No wonder why lot of people keep choosing and visiting their place compared to other stores. This Starbucks is one of the most visited place here in this city. The staff here literally made my experience better and great. This Starbucks has the best coffee I have ever had here in our neighborhood. Their coffee and other beverages are so unique. Their barista made it all in such an incredible way that is why all of it is so delicious. They also have breakfast sandwiches that is so delicious, also cookies, breads, and other pastries. You will definitely love their selection. Their coffee is so perfect to their breads and sandwiches. They will serve your order so fast and quick. What's the point of asking for my name when I order, if you're not going to call it when my order is ready? I was on a business trip when some urgent work came up that I needed to handle with my laptop. So I googled the nearest Starbucks and it came up with this location. I ordered a very berry hibiscus refresher, set up my laptop and WiFi, and got to work. The entire time I never heard my name called, and every few minutes would look over my shoulder at the counter to make sure it wasn't sitting there. Finally after 15 minutes I decided to go to the counter to double-check, and there it was sitting in the back corner barely within view. Half the ice was already melted. Boo to this Starbucks location. On the plus side the WiFi was pretty fast and there was plenty of space around noon on a weekday. read more

I have visited this Starbucks several times because it is close to where I have been working recently. This week, each time I visited my drink was wrong. If I catch it in time, they are always kind and quick to fix their mistakes, however when I am in a rush and don't catch it, I usually don't have time to go back and lose out on that money and my daily caffeine fix. Although the employees are nice, this location makes mistakes more often than other locations I have visited. The general manager (I assume the lady with the dreadlocks is this role) has been perfect and makes me glad I come here a lot. This Starbuck is conveniently located next to Arlington Park. The indoor space is not very big or comfy for people to work from there for a few hours. It also felt like it was very loud but I guess that is expected for the morning rush. I just enjoy that it is next to the track and has free wifi so I can work from there until 3 and then head over to the track right away :D read more
