Upon entering, we were greeted with a smile. I received excellent assistance with my order, but my sister's request for an unheated cookie was unintentionally disregarded by the barista. When my sister told her she got it wrong, the girl had an attitude. I get it she does it all day long... let's focus on one customer and one cookie at a time. This place had 3 customers in it including myself but yet it took 27 minutes to get the wrong coffees!! There were 6 employees at one time and for a few minutes they were in a circle talking. My husband ordered a doppio long shot and they made it without long shots and the unfriendly window associate took the drink back and argued that he didn't say long shots. But I heard him say it. They have a huge list of everything they're out of including lemonade, whole and almond milk, many syrups, biscotti, sous vides bites, etc. Very sparse offerings. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. The employees were rude and unpleasant. We arrived and were the only people in line inside the cafe. We waited 3 minutes to even order our drinks from an employee named Jaiden who never smiled and had a tone that made us feel we were the biggest inconvenience (even though she wasn't working the drive through or otherwise preoccupied). We waited another 11 minutes (we timed it) for our drinks even though we were the ONLY ONES IN THE CAFE!!! Never heard "have a nice day." Never heard a single kind word. It was despicable. Your baristas really should be able to tell by this incredibly light color alone that they are not giving a even slightly drinkable product. I order the same thing for myself and the kids every time.. multiple different locations, Burleson, the one in target, cleburne, Fort Worth off Bryant Irving, Gainesville... etc. well I pull up in the drive through at Alvarado location. Ask for the (TALL) vanilla bean frappe... in 2 small cups.. for my 2 year old & my 7 year old to split. They literally told me sorry that's against our rules or regulations. That they can't do that.. I'm sorry. I'm ordering 3 drinks at the time.. and I'm asking for the small drink to be split in 2 different cups for my kids to split.. and your telling me NO?? I told her it's never been an issue at any other locations and I go to a different location all the damn time, we travel a lot. Needless to say. I'm disappointed.. & was highly frustrated. Starbucks has the best caramel frozen coffee I've ever had. They were out if Carmel drizzle the last time I went but it was still good. I also like their chocolate chip frozen coffee it's great. If you have a chance to go to starbucks you should try the chocolate chip one . read more

Out of all the Starbucks in my area, I always go here because they make my drink right and have the most assortment of cups. I didn't realize it was a requirement to be an absolute grinch to work here. From the minute we walked in till the time we left, absolute garbage attitude by every employee here. Everyone seemed very inconvenienced to be here working and accommodating customers looking for napkins or condiments (which aren't out due to COVID). Pull up to the order board and tell them I have a mobile order and they got a major attitude bc I placed it 2 minutes before I got up there and now their going to have to put it in front of the other mobile orders and made it this huge deal saying it might not be ready in time... how would it be any different if I had just ordered right there for drive thru?? how can you not fulfill my order in time bc it was placed a different way?? I understand many non-coffee drinkers love Starbucks. I'm just a plain black coffee drinker and the cost has risen to almost $4.00. That's absurd. And most of the time it's old, burnt or watered down. I can get a much better coffee at the RaceTrac gas station, only RaceTrac gives me coffee for free when I'm in uniform and have my patrol car. !!!Injury!!! My son tipped forward in his chair and fell onto the concrete ground. The chair also fell over and hit the back of his head. There were only 3 other customers in the store, they were seated and had received there order, in other words the employees had no other tasks that would have hindered them from a response. I picked my crying son up, I expected that one of the employees would see if we needed help. However, one was laughing and the other just stared at us. I'm in awe, at the lack of concern from these employees, Starbucks for the training of these employees and as a result I'm definitely never going back to this location. Slow. Sitting currently in line for 25 minutes and when I was able to order I had to wait 7 minutes to give my order. Two items I tried to order they were not in stock. 2nd time I've been there that the service was less then. I ordered on the app, 1Java chip frap, 1 cake pop, 1 vanilla bean custard danish & 1 Lavender creme frap, (the danish was very flat & dry & edges were burnt slightly) because I was in a hurry. Pulled into parking lot & not one spot was open. I had to park by the dumpster hideout to miss traffic of drive-thru that was backed-up. My order was made at 2:02, buy 2:10 the app said my order was ready, it was not. Only 1 drink was ready. At 2:30 my son was at the counter still waiting. Finally got the 2nd drink & danish & my son came out at 2:45. We were more than a mile down the road when I asked how the cake-pop was before I found out he didn't even get that because he couldn't get their attention so he just left.There were 4 employees working, sorta. I am guessing that the other dozen or so other employees were having a meeting & management was not interested in the back-up of customers. Have to do better Alvarado. read more

I honestly love this starbucks! Its big and spacious and the tables have plugs so if you need and do work its a perfect work/study space. I also tend to love it because they tend to get my drinks right even if I'm coming in as a customer instead of staff. It is also a great place to work. I might be biased because I work there but the truth is it is really big and I definitely feel the love from the customers and staff. read more

I'm a huge Starbucks fan. I love how the staff always does what is required to make you happy...until today. At the new Alvarado SB I ordered a decaf coffee and the order taker flat out told me they don't have decaf. So, we just looked at each other - me deciding what to say next and he just looking blankly. Finally he said that I could order an Americano if I want. Isn't there a price differential I ask. Yes, says he, but only $.50. First, the difference between the two for a grande is $.70 which is almost a dollar. Second, how nice for him to be so blaise about MY money. Typically, when there is no brewed decaf, they make an Americano at no extra charge rather than brew an entire pot of decaf. That said, last I heard, Starbucks does sell decaf...but I guess not at the Alvarado Starbucks. read more
