Starbucks is Starbucks. My only comment is that they always seem to be slow regardless of the traffic or time.

The apple croissant was not but I found it at this particular location. I placed my order inside with no long wait for the latte and the young lady repeated my order and I was good to go. We stopped by here to get a quick pick-me-up on the way home from visiting some family. The staff did not want to honor one of the promotions that was going on, despite us showing them it should be valid. After arguing with them for a few minutes, my wife got her drink and I did not get one - I just went nearby to the McDonald's where I just got a Dr. Pepper instead. I was surprised to realize I have never reviewed this Starbucks location! I have been coming here for over a decade, since I first moved to alabaster. Although it is frequently one of the busiest Starbucks I've been to, I don't think I've ever had a single wrong order and every time I come, whether it is through the drive-through or into the store, the stuff is always friendly, helpful, and cheerful. If you are in the area, or even if you are a local, I would definitely recommend visiting this location! read more

This is 1st time I've been here in awhile. I have pretty much written this company off BUT I was thirsty . I doubt I will go again anytime soon. The employee was snobbish. Hun you work in a starbucks... Don't get it twisted lol ..The drinks themselves were too tart . I had to add water to tone it down..I got a dragonfruit mango and son got a strawberry açaí smoothie. I've had reason to pass this Starbucks recently given the direction that I've been driving as of late, and so naturally, as a matter of convenience I've stopped here a number of times. It's like most Starbucks locations, so you generally know what to expect. They do have the nitro cold brew which is a huge plus if you're basically dying of a caffeine deficiency and need to consume a lot of it quickly in order to reanimate yourself and start the day. The lines can be a bit long, but they move very quickly so it doesn't really take much time to get in and out. The people are extraordinarily professional and friendly. Super clean, nice and friendly, quick, efficient and they've got the nitro cold brew. What else could you ask for? read more

Apparently I'm not the only one since this is the second review today...40+ minutes after ordering and still no drink. (It's a simple latte.) They are rotating in orders from drive through and mobile, and people who came into the store (as I did) are just out of luck, I guess. Their nitro machine is down, someone just hollered from behind the counter that they are down to one pitcher of cold brew for the next several hours, and I am 90% sure they sent a guy out because they ran out of milk. Unreal! To be fair, this is a failure on the part of management, not the workers. They are moving as quickly and efficiently as they can (though I would question their system as it appears the mobile order queue is completely broken). But they are understaffed and ill-equipped. I imagine the manager has no idea when peak times are likely to occur (e.g., fall break increasing traffic flow on I-65, resulting in more customers). You are far better off going to one of the other Starbucks establishments nearby. read more

I can't comment on the quality of drinks, as we never received them. It took 30+minutes, and we still had t received 2 hot chocolates and 2 lattes. We finally asked for a refund. Very understaffed and their system for who gets drinks first is SOOOO messed up! Pumpkin Loaf warmed up is allllllll I can say. This bread will change your dang life. I do not drink coffee at all nor do I want to but my coworker stopped us by another Starbucks this week while on lunch and got some for dessert and I'll be damned if it hasn't consumed me and I stopped to get some on my way home. It was everything lol. My inner fat girl was very happy and I made other people try it too lol. The bread is soft and the crust is just right if you like crusty bread ends and edges. It's topped with either roasted pumpkin seeds or sunflower seeds and it adds to the texture of the bread. I definitely think everyone should try it while it's in season. Thank me later read more

I love starbucks. I typically go there 3-4 times a week. Stopped in this location as I was driving thru to get a drink and to use the bathroom. As I was ordering/talking, my mask fell below my nose (I was wearing it correctly when I walked in). The employee rudely interrupted me and told me I would need to put my mask on properly to be served. I'm sorry there is plexi glass between us + I was not being disrespectful, It just fell beneath my nose while I was talking. I was literally putting it back over my nose (my mouth was covered the entire time) as she jumped down my throat. Can't review on the drinks, but I will say that the employee enjoyed pointing out my mask was under my nose more than taking my order. Glad they had their moment of power for the day. read more

While traveling, we stopped at this location. Inside cafe is closed. So you have to wait in the drive through line wrapped around the corner of the store/building - it's actually on the road. We use mobile ordering to place drinks & pick up quickly without hassle.. I use it daily for the same reasons, convenience. I just wanted to run in & grab them since we are in a schedule with traveling. That didn't happen. We were in the drive through line, it was so long that I decided to run inside. I didn't want the drinks to sit and be watery. We pulled to the side so I could run in. Got to the door, the door is locked and the sign says to go through the drive through. So I called, asked if mobile orders could still be picked up inside. They said no, but that they would meet me at the back door when it was ready. They didn't even know the mobile pick up was "on". Okay - no problem. I waited by the back door.. for 15mins, in the hot sun. I eventually called back & she asked where I was because they didn't see me by the door. I told them I was by the back door, like he said. She asked which location I was at, I was at the right one. I asked if they had a order under my name, she said yes. The manager came to the door & apologized. She said they didn't see me. But they came out of the side door, that's not the back. Even if they came out of the side door, when it was ready, like he said he was.. they would've saw me. I really think they just forgot and I should've just got back in line to wait. But I listened to his suggestion. It just didn't work. Someone else came to the door as well because the drive through line was astronomical.. the manager was much more snottier with her because the inside was closed. She said she will do it this time but not again, I told her I wasn't from the area so don't worry about me coming back. But when you have to wait 15-30mins in the drive through for the drink you ordered a almost half hour ago.. it's not fun. The drinks have also been sitting all that time because of that. I understand a lot of wonky things are happening because of Covid - but, forcing everyone to use the drive through or shutting off mobile ordering, isn't a good idea. I especially when people depend on the ease of ordering & pick up with mobile ordering. I currently have over 2000 stars on my account - I use mobile ordering almost every day. I'm sorry, I really don't want sit in the drive through line at all (especially over 15mins+). That's why I order while driving to the pick up location. It makes no sense whatsoever. They were kinda busy but completely unorganized. People came in ten minutes after me, ordered and got specialty drinks...and left. You can't overcharge for an experience and make it miserable. I've been coming to the Starbucks for the past 6 to 7 years and I can definitively say the people working at the store are extremely professional and kind. They usually get your right the first time and have a happy attitude! If they do something wrong, they apologize and make it right however they can. The only downside to this location is the fact that the line is wrapped around the building going out to the main road. I don't know if it's just because other locations are closed, so more people are being funneled to that location or if it's lack of available workers, but I wish they would be able to fix that because sitting in the drive-through line for 45 minutes to get a drink is just absolutely ridiculous. I know we live in a different world now with COVID-19 but there has to be another way the drive-through can be tweaked made to be more efficient. The service isn't out of this world, but it's very good. Honestly, I can't complain. They're clean and professional. They have plenty of snacks, which is good. I just wish that they had a sandwich and/or a cheese danish at this location. I love their white hot chocolate. Another drink that I love even more is their Lemonade Passion Tea, shaken, and sweetened. WOW!!!!! I just wish that people weren't so mean about their drinks. My gosh people, it's coffee!
