Sadly this is the closest location to my home but it's my least favourite. They don't stay…read moreconsistent with how they make their drinks and it's certainly not the same as other locations. I was coming to this location consistently for quite a few years until I had to cut down on my coffee spending. On the occasion I do decide to get a treat I have been switching between a variety of drinks, depending on the day. But it's only between 3 different drinks. However at this location it wasn't consistently yummy and enjoyable. I did on a few occasions say something to them and they would remake the drink, because that's what Starbucks does, but it was still tasting weird/different/not yummy. But if I order that drink exactly the same from another location, why does it taste better? Even when I would mention this to them, that it wasn't the same as location A and B, they would argue with me that it wasn't true. So maybe I'm the crazy one? Again, I just stopped going to this location for a long period of time. However, every once in a while I'll give this location another try, such as today, my husband decided to stop there for a drink. I asked him to bring me a regular blonde drip coffee, as I have been having this option at other locations and it's been delicious. But yet again this location ruined a drink that has been great at other locations. It's was so strong and horribly bitter. So what I know is, when I'm in my community and my family and I decide to stop for a treat, I'll be giving my money to the Sobeys Starbucks or to Tim Hortons. Hopefully someone higher up reads this and maybe actually checks out this location for some possible inconsistencies that could be causing a not great outcome with their product.

I wanted to barf his mom just took the tongs from his mouth and placed it back in the sample case!!! WOW is all I have to say. -parking is limited so don't expect to park close. *Caution on the sanitation of the sample utensils!

It might APPEAR that I'm just *dialing in* another review on such a "hard place (NOT)" to kick another one ottta da can. But actually, THIS is the FIRST Starbucks I've ever visited OUTSIDE of the U.S. So that alone makes it a special occasion! THE SETUP After leaving the Calgary Airport (YYC) U.S. Customs area (where they verified my U.S. Passport), I went on this lonnnnnnnng trek through the International area of the terminal to find my United Airlines gate, San Francisco (SFO) bound (I think E90?). But before that - soon after wandering through the duty-free zone (NONE of which I had room for in my simple carry-on bag...*dam*), I found this cute little Starbucks tucked away on one side of the terminal walkway through the "E" zone. https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/starbucks-calgary-48?select=V18EtZDhYT7LCpHstp9G1A MUNCHIE & REFRESHMENT! I only had a little for lunch (since I had to dash to make it back to YCC to catch my flight) and it was already past 6pm. I checked my Starbucks Card balance, and I had enough for both a Teavana Refreshment Tea and a breakfast sandwich, so I grabbed them here. https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/starbucks-calgary-48?select=dYtrz87hsKOQ4u4Cy9mGgQ Got to my gate - in a nearly empty gate-area - and quietly enjoyed them! THE LOWDOWN Very nice find in my trek through YYC.

We also came with a big group so we had a large order of drinks! There was only one worker and the poor worker was working as fast as she can. After waiting some time, there was another employee coming in to help out to expedite our order lol. Trying the osmanthus whole lemon tea, it was pretty standard. Nothing too special, but I also just wanted something refreshing. It was definitely nice enough to keep the day going. I do wish she was able to put the whole lemon into slices in there, but it was literally just semi-sliced with the whole lemon lol. I think many people also mentioned that the drinks are generally pretty sweet here. The boba shop is pretty small, also connected to a supermarket. Boba shop has very limited seating, but the neighborhood also seems very quiet so it doesn't feel busy at all. I also thought this was the same Koi chain from Singapore(?) but it is not.

There should have been cheese foam added or something to give the drink more depth. I substituted regular boba for popping boba and that was a big mistake because I didn't know it was popping boba.
