Although the hours of operation for this gem are very short, it's definitely worth a visit. The ambiance is nothing short of elegance & class! Our server, Brian, was so attentive & made so many great suggestions. The food was spectacular & surpasses our expectation. At the end we ordered dessert to share & was delightfully surprised that they split our pie into two separate plates, one with ice cream & whip cream and the other without since my wife is lactose sensitive. I would definitely recommend this place!! In the summer the grounds are kept up so immaculately by the Conservation Society and Maintenance people. The staff are a delight to talk to and give you so much information that it is hard to take it all in. The restaurant uses miuch of what is grown on the property. And of course, we can't leave out the award winning restaurant, Lougheed Restaurant with Chef Judy Wood. Starters I have had include Golden Beet Salad with Goat Cheese & Pecans and a Citrus Vinaigrette, White Fish Croquettes with a Lemon & Herb Aioli and Coconut Prawns with Orange Soy Glaze. The mains I've had are Croque Monsieur- Ham, aged cheddar and bechamel sauce grilled between slices of Chef Judy's Sourdough Bread on Gluten Free, Roast Chicken Salad on Mini Brioche w/ Toasted Pecans served with homemade potato chips & mixed green salad and Roast Chicken Pot Pie.

I have had crepe cake at other places before. Hearing that Calgary has a bubble tea shop that sells…read morecrepe cake, I was excited to headover to try it. I was a bit disappointed. I got the match crepe cake. there was too much cream in between each layer of the crepe. On top the cream had a very weird texture. I didn't ask for the matcha sauce and they charged me for it. Well, I didn't say anything because I didn't realize they charged me for it. All in was like $6 ish. The crepe cake was small and as mentioned it was not wow. The very top layer was also over cooked or burnt (can see from my picture). The presentation was not nice either. Not sure if it was because they forgot to put the match powder on top. It did look different from the one on display. Also note that their internet didn't register the password that they have up front on a board at the till. Well, they have Shawopen in the area so it doesn't really matter to me. Selection is very limited here in terms of cakes but they have a good selection of tea blend. There are a good number of seats and tables to accommodate customers. Looks like most people just get the crepe cake to go. The other things that they also sells are croissants. Again limited selections. They have chocolate charcoal croissant and matcha croissant. This is definitely a one time visit place for me. I probably won't be back unless a friend wants to come or insist to come.

I liked the earl grey the best because it had a lot of flavour. The matcha is not sweet at all. They don't have a large selection in things to eat here or drinks. I wouldn't come back especially with no convenient parking I hate finding street parking though.

They were 2 packs for $10 so we got one with an assortment of black seasame/mung bean and one with red bean. Wow what a wonderful little find…read more This little Korean tea shop is so pretty to look at; it is so peaceful and there are even a couple of tables here if you would like to try the assortments of Korean tea or coffee. The layout of the space is really Zen, nice wooden display tables and your choice of really pretty Korean rice paper for 3 for $10.00. But their speciality is definitely the Korean candy. There are many bean paste flavours to choose from, there is sweet rice with caramel, and sesame seed with sugar. I tried a candy that had sweet rice, pine nuts, dates, almonds, black beans, and kidney beans. Most of them start at $4.99 and they are packaged in the sweetest of presentations. I tried a couple of the bean paste candies, these are very chewy and a little too sweet for me, but if you are a Korean candy fan, this is the place for you. The woman working here is as sweet as her products, and the prices at $4.99 are really great as well. They have wonderful incense holders and gorgeous tea sets that range from $70 in rich colours of jades, mustards, pinks, greys and beiges. Worth the visit.
