Lovely little bakery with plenty of charm and great eats. My husband and I were in town for a wedding and had breakfast on the patio back to back over the weekend with our pup (it's dog friendly) and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The one thing I would say stood out enough to detract from a 5-star experience was an overall lack of service. You order inside and they bring your food to you, but service is slow, and both days we noticed that the staff don't really engage patrons unless spoken to first. This can make it very hard to figure out exactly how to order, if seating is self-service (it is), etc.
it was insanely hot when we visited, for example, and while one day we were able to get larger glasses for water, the next they refused to give anything larger than a glorified shot glass...despite serving our mimosas in the same larger glasses. Overall it just read of a young team that was slightly disconnected and not overly concerned with customer experience, and that's something that made things take longer than necessary and put a slight damper on an overall wonderful experience. read more
