I think this is probably the best Senorita bread in Sacramento. Served warm and soft. Yum!! It is a must try. I also tried their vegetable Lumpia. Those were good also.

Can never go wrong with senorita breads. Great for snacking, parties, or any occasions. Prices are reasonable. Service was quick. Eat them while they are hot and fresh! If you get 15+ pieces, it will come in a box. They sell other items as well such as lumpia, malasadas, croissants, etc. Plenty of parking but just be careful at it is not in the safest area :)

If your going to come here for lumpia, you need to come early. They sell out fast. There's a variety of bake goods. Call if you're looking for a specific bake goods.

This place is so good. Man that bread is on point. It's super soft, hot and buttery. I was not sure what it was going to be like so I got a small bag, worst mistake of my life. . No not Fr but it went to fast and I was sad when I got to the last one. Don't be like me a get a small one get the biggest box the have, you might just want to bring a Amazon, box from home and ask them to just fill that up. It's beyond good i I am for sure going back

    Hot and fresh Senorita bread!

I love señorita bread!! Every time I come to Starbread bakery they always have pipping hot senorita bread, sometimes the wait is less than 5 minutes for a fresh batch. The señorita bread is always so hot, fluffy, buttery, and sweet. The prices are great! I need to make it a point to try some of their other sweets or baked goods one day!

One of my favorites bakery in Sac, if you're craving for fresh pastries, Filipino pandesal, and señorita bread, look no more this is the place. Starbread Bakery is conveniently located in the Seafood City Village in Mack Rd. They carry lots of varieties of bread and empanadas also. It smells amazing in the store! Service is quick, friendly and ambiance is clean.

Soft, slightly sweet, divine senorita bread was worth the 40 minute drive for me. My son tasted these for the first time and his eyes lit up. He said they're dangerously good and ate 10 the first day. I bought the 40 piece and we had them for a few days. By day 3, they were stale, but still loved dunking them in my coffee. (Microwave them for about 20 seconds).

Quick service and really delicious bread! It tastes like honey and butter with a but of sugar. Really good price too for a box of them. Theres not much standing room when waiting but the service was quick and the bread is fresh. I'd come back to try the other pastries they have.

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place yet!! When I'm in the area, I HAVE to stop in for some of their famous Señorita Bread! I mean, who doesn't love the pillowy, soft, buttery goodness that's fresh from the oven? I always forget they have locations down south, but I never seem to forget when I'm in SacTown!! Lol Maybe it's because it was at this Starbread Bakery location that I popped my Señorita Bread cherry!! They have other Filipino desserts and baked goods, but I've never purchased anything else. I'm probably the weirdest Filipina you'll ever meet, lol. I'll always be a fan of the bread, though!! The prices have gone up since my first visit, but you really can't help that. The quality is top tier, and as long as the cost isn't outrageous, I'll happily satisfy my cravings! The parking lot is shared with other businesses so there's plenty. The service is always fast and the aunties are always nice. Be back again soon! ;)

Sheeeshhh I've been here hella times but this is my first time making a review. This bread is dangerous! Why is it dangerous? Cuz it's so hard to stop eating. U gonna mess around and gain like 10 lbs. service is great, very polite and fast service. The place is well lit, small and you'll be surrounded by all kinds of goodness. The bread is always given to you hot! It's buttery with a kiss of sweetness. Addicting af! They should call this bread "crack bread" cuz it's hella addicting!

Every time I visit the Sacramento area, I always stop at Starbread as their fresh out of the oven Senorita bread is to die for. Senorita bread is salty, sweet, soft, and pillowy; it's so addictive that you simply can't have just one! That's why we always buy a half dozen or more. We also love trying other items, like the mochi donuts and Malasadas. Both were delicious and reasonably priced as well. Overall, I love the Senorita bread and would highly recommend it.

Did they change the recipe of the Senorita bread at the Mack Road location? I heard they changed it at the Natomas location and renamed it Spanish bread and it doesn't taste the same.

Yes they did! I bought some a few days ago and it's not as buttery or as sweet as I remembered.

My only negative comment is the steamed rice is $6 for a single serving.!

They told us that their parents are Filipina and Chinese, resulting in the restaurants dual heritages. Their father is the chef and his food is amazing! The sotanghon is their version of chow mein with jelly noodles, also really delicious. It usually comes with three types of protein, but we only tried it with shrimp. Still delicious! They also make their table chili oil in house and it is delicious. Not as spicy as most but very flavorful and added to every dish, makes everything super yummy. We were really more interested in the Filipino food, as there aren't many options in Sacramento. My husband says that the Filipino food has a Chinese influence here. It's definitely a more hole-in-the-wall place. We came at around lunch time and were warmly greeted by two ladies. A couple of other parties came in after us. We ordered 4 dishes to share, and they came out pretty fast! 1) Pinakbet - probably my favorite dish. It's a simpler dish with vegetables including eggplant, bitter melon, okra, tomato, kabocha, pork. I liked that the bitter Leon had a but of a wok char flavor. The eggplant had a bit of an oil taste but I'm aware that restaurants will fry the eggplant and then stir fry it into the fish to maintain the color...I actually liked that oil taste haha. 2) Kare Kare - it's a peanut butter stew with vegetables including eggplant, bokchoy, green beans, and oxtail. The oxtail is so tender. They also provide a shrimp paste and that adds some salt and pungent flavor. 3) Pancit palabok - as you'd expect with the addition of tofu. I wished they had more chicharron on there for texture 4) Bopis - diced pig ear with some jalapeños and peppers. This was seasoned so well and goes well when mixed with rice. We ordered rice to go along with the dishes. There was sooooo much food leftover. Great value! I am totally looking forward to the next time I get to go here!

(I've been here before and had much better experiences.) The tapsilog and tocilog were not at all like the pictures or what I've had before. The tapsilog we got were chunks of the cheapest cut of beef. Very tough and barely marinated. It felt as if oppose to telling us they were out of tapsilog, they decided to just cut up some beef and sell it to us. Absolutely disappointed! The tocilog was not any better. Tocilog is a sweet cured pork. There was not sweetness to it. Lacked flavor! The eggs in both silogs were overcooked! The only thing salvageable was the pork lumpia, 10 pieces for $10.99.
