    Espresso martini & orange crush

Awesome spot for oysters & cocktails. Their espresso martini is incredible (rum instead of vodka!). I've visited on two separate occasions and both times had great servers with a good sense of humor. Indoor & outdoor dining. Lots of great options for casual food. Starboard Raw has such a great vibe!

Caitlin (bartender), Patrick (shucker/utility), and Franklin (chef) really made this Christmas eve Eve special. Service was spectacular, drinks fantastic, food unbelievable. The Christmas decor was stunning. 10/10 My wife, baby, and I will definitely be back. Thank you for the incredible experience. -The McK's.

Just tried their crispy tuna rice and it was delicious! Also of course had to get the best espresso martini in Dewey Beach!

My friends and I came here on a Wednesday because they have happy hour all day. The restaurant is very small, it has a long bar that you can sit at and about 5-6 tables along the other side. We got there around 4/5pm and it was completely full. There were 6 of us and only 2 tables inside that could fit us comfortably and they were full so we chose to sit outside at two tables. The Delaware Bay oysters that were $1.50 for happy hour were bigger and meatier than I expected, it was only slightly briney. All in all, very pleased with them. The peel and eat shrimp came and I had a friend who almost turned the dish away because she thought that someone ordered a shrimp boil. It's served in a broth with potatoes and corn, and also cocktail sauce. Not what I expected at all and slightly over cooked, but fine. We got our drinks and food very quickly, but the service was a little off. When we were first ordering, I asked the waitress Kelly about how much comes in the peel and eat shrimp, knowing the menu says half a pound, the response was, "well, we weigh it." When I returned a look of slight disbelief, she then replied, "about 7-9 shrimp depending on size." My friend ordered a dozen assorted oysters and the staff came by with them, and immediately left without telling her what was what. When the final bill came, the waitress charged my friend another menu item's full price, not the peel and eat happy hour price. When we asked to about it, she was adamant that she was right, they were the same price anyways, until my friend pointed out our table's bill was correct and the waitress realized her mistake. I'm willing to give people the benefit of the doubt, but it was just not the greatest experience.

Excellent food and beer. The crab deviled eggs were delicious! Likewise the seafood pasta was really good. Crabs and mussels are the big seafood draws around this area. Starboard Raw can get really packed but the vibe and food choices are far superior in our opinion to sister restaurant Starboard across the street.

rex is awesome ! he had great food recommendations and was a very laid back guy. $6 crush special was awesome - the lemon crush was refreshing with a punch behind it. the tuna taretare lettuce wraps were very pretty and had such great flavor ! and the crab deviled eggs were a nice appetizer !

Everything was perfect today. First real spring weather. Outdoor seating with a beach town practically all to ourselves. Snacking away at Happy Hour and watching the sun set. Besides the ambiance, all the food was great and delicious. A dozen raw oysters naturally for Happy Hour. Their Starboard VIPale Ale is delicious pairing with it. The Buffalo sliders were perfect with every bite. The crabby tater tots could have been more crabby. The crab cake sandwich was really great tasting too. Mi almost missed it but they e got their own Statblard hot sauce made by Peppers down the street by the outlets and that was delicious with the tots and dipping the crab cake in it too. I really liked the daily special too-- seared tuna with crusted sesame seed over a seaweed salad cucumber slice.

Ordered take out 6 XL crab for 3of us. The crab is really fresh my parents are very happy!

    Calamari, sliders, grapefruit crush.

Everything here is (insert chef's kiss) delicious, however, the calamari is out of the world. The juxtaposition of the two sauces create a marriage of perfection. Great Happy hour!

Great food and customer services. They have live band and the drinks are good too. This restaurant is a must go to if you are in the area.

A little on the loud side with the music, but the oysters were amazing and the fish and chips were really good! Service was great!

One of the Top 10 brunches I've ever had. Get there early and keep the party on the smaller side or the waits can be crazy.

Introduction on Dewey Beach trip:…read more Representing 2023, W is for Woody's. In September 2023, I was on a group beach trip at a house in Dewey Beach a close walk to Woody's. I stayed for 3 nights. The timing of this trip ended up being good for three reasons: 1. Three weeks earlier I had surgery for cancer on Tuesday, 8/15/23. I was not aloud to go in pool, beach, or bathtub for exactly 3 weeks. My community pool's last day for the season was Labor Day Monday, 9/4/23 (2 weeks 6 days after my surgery), which kind of sucked because that kissed going to my community pool the rest of the season or any other pool parties. About a week earlier, my friend convinced me to go on the trip saying there was availability in the house during the Monday to Friday part. Ultimately, I decided to take off work on that Tuesday and worked from the house on Wednesday, but I had a great time on the trip that I decided to extend to Thursday doing the same working at the house. And I was able to fully enjoy the beach on Tuesday, 9/5 exactly 3 weeks later with no issues. As well as the other 2 days to lesser extent as I had work too. 2. DC/Maryland was experiencing an intense September heat wave with temperatures in the upper 90's; so it was great timing to escape to the beach where temps there were still pretty hot as high as low 90's. 3. Most importantly, I met my girlfriend of now 2 years on this trip! We were friends for several months, but then dating started in February 2024. Experience with Woody's: If I hadn't extended my trip into Thursday, I wouldn't have tried Woody's. I was tired of leftovers after Tuesday & Wednesday night; I decided to go to Woody's for dinner. I called in the order, walked over didn't have to wait long, and took back. Friends looked a little jealous. I got the crab cake sandwich with fries. It was an amazing crab cake with great fries. It certainly wasn't a cheap dinner, but it was worth it for a good amount of crab cake with a high quality.

But, off season parking is much easier. Very friendly staff. It was a seat yourself place and there are tables with benches and chairs. We were greeted quickly. Seems as if the same person tending bar is the same who is serving the tables as well. Again, this was off season. She was very efficient and attentive. Very good customer service. Didn't order drinks, just ice tea, lemonade, and water. Ordered garlic parm wings (yummy), side of fries (should say trough full as it was such a generous portion), beef and cheddar sandwich with fries (get this - so tasty), a turkey burger (delicious and a mile high), chicken wrap, and a regular burger with no bun. Two of us got onion rings as a side. Everything comes with chips but can upgrade your sides. As far as taste, literally nothing put on our table was bad! Everything was delicious. You can't make a bad choice here. The menu does give a wide range of options so even a picky eater will find something. Such a down home nice local place to grab a bite. Not a diss to the live music, but because there won't be a communication barrier. I find it funny that they give you a menu when they seat you, but all you have to do is look up. The menu adorns the ceiling and definitely gives you a reason to be distracted. Be sure to ask what the market rate is on the items that state this. It can be a bit much, and will guide you in making a choice. I went with a classic cheeseburger...by mistake. Why by mistake you ask. That communication barrier because of the live music came into play. I said what I wanted, and could not hear the next part. I am assuming that I was asked how I want it prepared. I said medium. But what probably actually happened was she had asked how I wanted it cooked and what I wanted it topped with. When the cheeseburger showed up, it was plain as plain could be. If I was able to hear I would have gotten lettuce, onion and pickle. I was able to ask for some mustard. Ketchup was already on the table. It tasted a bit bland, but that was mostly my fault. Fresh cut fries were the perfect pairing. Easy cleanup here too.
