This place is nice to take a break when you are at Disneyland for a long time, only thing you need to be a DVC member to get in. They have free soda, coffee and snacks and comfortable seating and your own private restrooms. Occasionally they will have private photography sessions with a Star Wars character. On the first floor, they have some Star Wars items on display.

2nd trip to Disneyland with my husband & he usually lets me plan everything and do whatever I want (lol). This time around, I knew we had to make it a point to visit here for my Star Wars loving guy. He is obsessed and this place is the perfect reprieve from the heat if you're at Disneyland on the HOTTEST DAY EVER like us. Inside you'll find a bunch of Star Wars memorabilia, souvenirs, & apparel. Some of the souvenirs were quite pricey, but the quality was really nice. Thankfully my husband exercised quite a bit of restraint and didn't buy anything. Lol. There's also enough models, props, & toys to excite any SW fan. Personally, my favorite was Yoda. Kinda wanted to take him home with me! Haha. We also watched a short film on the history of Star Wars. The seats were set-up like a mini stadium seating if I remember correctly. They had another section where you could meet & greet the different characters. Some of them had quite a long line. We decided on meeting Chewbacca and the line moved pretty quickly. The actors stay true to their character the whole time which is pretty cool. Your actual time with them is pretty short, but enough to get some cool pictures in. That was probably my favorite part and my husband was glad I convinced him to do it. Definitely recommend making a stop here until Star Wars Land opens!

Launch Bay is a great place to find the more expensive souvenirs and apparel but the quality is top notch. I'd buy all of the Musterbrand items if I could. The Leia top is my favorite other than the scarves. The men's jackets are a cosplay dream come true. I wish there were kids too but for the price, I can see it being a hard sell unless you're die hard SW. I love the new "sneak peak" section and cannot wait for SW Land to open next year. I also love when Plasma comes out of Launch Bay and a dozen storm troopers come around the building. There's so much excitement and energy from the crowd and well...there's something about a man in uniform. I said it.

This place has gotten better through out the years. This is the perfect exhibit for any Star Wars fan before they officially open up Galaxy's Edge. Here is where you can check out the museum where they showcase models and costumes from the Star Wars franchise. You can also take pictures with some of your favorite characters: Chewbacca, Kylo Ren and Darth Vader, as well as some Stormtroppers who make an appearance often. (Personally, if they ever have Ewoks, I would definitely stand in line for a picture!) There are other interactive stations featuring Legos, video games a short film. And of course, they have a small gift section where you can buy Legos kits, art, memorabilia, phone cases and much more. This is a perfect place to take a break from the sun and to cool off. Seating is limited but they do have some places to sit.

Really fun area of Disneyland! Perfect for Star Wars lovers and non Star Wars fans too. I usually come back here for lunch they have a really great vegetarian option and cold brew I love with cereal in it. The characters back here are very talented and so are the cast members.

The best part of the visit for sure. With the Chase reserve cards, you're able to visit a certain someone in the Chase experience chamber, hint: I am your father! One on one (plus a few if you're a group of more than one) experience with the individual includes photo taking and free downloads through the Disney portal. I for one left with a huge grin on my face. PS: Characters do rotate periodically so be sure to catch them all!

My most favorite piece of Disney swag ever: my Baby Yoda phonecase.

The best Star Wars-related merchandise inside Disneyland is surprisingly not inside Galaxy's Edge, but *Tomorrowland* of all places. This occupies the first floor of the Carousel Theater and replaced the "Innoventions" exhibition, a prototype of Epcot. For the Star Wars aficionados there are various props and set pieces from the movies on display. For those who like M&Gs of the characters you can meet Chewbacca and Darth Vader here along with other characters from the 9-movie franchise on a seasonal basis. There's even a mock-up of the famous Mos Eisley cantina for quick viewing. My group had some time to kill before our time for Space Mountain so I found myself in this area. I was led here from one of the cashiers inside one of the Tomorrowland stores. Being a huge fan of "The Child" (aka Baby Yoda) from "The Mandalorian" I fell in love with a phone case but unfortunately that store didn't have one in my phone type. Apparently all the phone cases are made here with the surplus being sold at other Disney souvenir shops. Inside the launch bay is the "D-Tech on Demand" where you can customize your phone case with the design you want and add personalization touches such as your name. For $35 I was able to get a Baby Yoda phone case made in half an hour. The process was relatively straightforward; once you make your case you are given a code so that you can pay for and eventually claim your phone case. I was able to have this made and still have enough time to board Space Mountain. To this day this is considered my favorite Disney swag to date as I can show off my love of Baby Yoda in a more practical manner. Those types of souvenirs mean more to me than ears or pins can ever be.

A lot of Disneyland experience is nonstop hustling to rides in the heat and waiting out the long lines. For a bit of respite and a healthy dose of Star Wars, the Launch Bay is the perfect spot to get away from the madness. It's all indoors in a dimly lit and refreshingly air controlled area. It's reminiscent of a museum at the main entrance with displays of weapons, ships, and armor. It's quite spacious in there as well so it's easy to get really close to the exhibits. There's a short video that talks about the making of the Disney Star Wars movie with commentary from some of the directors. There's some bench seating here and there was ample space the whole time we were there. One of the cooler things that I saw was a little walk through of some sets you'd expect to see in the movies. No one seemed interested in this area at all so it was completely empty which makes it perfect for a little photo session. After this area there were a few Xbox consoles set up. The one other draw for the Launch Bay is getting to meet Chewie and Darth Vader. They are separate lines. Unlike a lot of the other Disneyland lines, these are indoors so it's not that bad of a wait. There are cast members that are happy to take a picture with your phone. We also saw Boba Fett walking around so if you're lucky you might be able to see him. The very last part of Launch Bay is a pretty large gift shop which seemed to have the most selection of Star Wars stuff that wasn't the special merch that they have at Galaxy's Edge.

I swear I almost passed out! Seriously a real live "meet and greet" with Darth Vader and Chewie!!!??? Whaaaaaaaaaaaaat???? LOVE LOVE LOVE that I get to do this!! That WE all get to do this! I never really considered myself a Star Wars freak, but MY GOD, I feel like a 10 year old knowing I can actually meet these two! I was giddy as a school girl when I was next in line to see Vader... or like a 6 year old waiting for Christmas morning! For each character, you wait in line and are then sent into a little section of the Launch Bay, just you and your party. You have maybe 2-3 minutes in there, which is a nice amount of time, I think. They will take your pictures for you and you can have conversations with each character (I use the word "conversation" loosely for Chewie... but he does give some big hugs!!) I tend to leave the Launch Bay with a grin from ear to ear, so excited and feeling super special! I almost wish this were my little secret, but it's not... and the lines are starting to show that people are learning about it quickly. I will say that I've never waited longer than 20 minutes to see either one though. Oh wait, that's not all there is to the Launch Bay. There's also a museum type layout with costumes, figures, storyboards. Very interesting to look at and learn more about the movie and the characters, shop for stuff and blah blah blah.... but did I mention there is also a meet and greet with 2 of the most awesome characters?? {{faints}} As hesitant as I was about having a Star Wars land at Disneyland.... it's starting to grow on me and it's becoming pretty exciting for this girl. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!

Slid into the Bay from the ride. After looking at the ride photos and the lightsaber area, we noticed the Stance High Socks. Ended up purchasing 4 pairs: Darth Vader, R2D2/CP30, Storm Troopers, Kylo Ren. LOVE THESE socks and the characters. Shopping at DTD and other stores with Star War socks and could NOT find these anywhere. So I suggest, if you find something you like IN THE PARK stores, get it because Disney stocks different items then DTD or Disney Stores.

****Hugs, Hugs..and More Hugs!***** What's tall, furry, warm and cuddly? Yup...Chewie! You get a meet in greet here with both Chewie and Vader. Choose your side wisely because the lines can get long. If you do have time, meeting both is worth it. Chewie starts your day off right with heart warming and very personable hugs. I could not care less what people say...everyone loves a hug! Disney has not even started Star Wars Land yet but their immediate remedy, this place..is done well. You can experience both Avengers and Star Wars props, meet and greets, and a ton of photo ops here. The staff plays the part also. The meet and greet here is not hurried and does have a personal touch. Kudos to the cast members here for having to put up with crowds day in and out but still being pleasant and making this a memorable experience! I am adding this to my top ten list for Disneyland! Disney, Star Wars and hugs in Anaheim...another reason why the OC is the best place to live!

Ok, so I added the light sabers...

"Where are we?!? 3263827!!!" ... if you have this number committed to memory as I do, then not only are you a bona fide fan of Star Wars, but you will more than likely enjoy this attraction at Disneyland. Some of you young whippersnapper's who are referring to this place as the Innovation display May or may not remember that before that, it was America Sings! -- A decidedly Disney-esque sing a long journey through American music, ranging from the Revolutionary War to the late 70s. Seriously, look for it on YouTube. Then go tease your parents about it. Anyway, Star Wars Launch Bay is reminiscent of an interactive museum; there are some pretty impressive models, costumes, and other displays. Additionally, you can get your photo taken with various Star Wars characters. Our family only waited for a couple of minutes to meet Chewbacca... you gotta hand it to Disney, I could've sworn it was Peter Mayhew myself. There is a small bank of Star Wars related video games that are largely occupied by children in their 30s. Sure, these are the guys that came to Disneyland without dates or spouses, but if there's one thing I know about Disneyland, it's that you should have fun at your own pace, in this place. Honestly, there isn't a great deal for little ones to do in here, and my youngest two got bored quickly, but whether you are a casual Star Wars geek, or convinced that you were spawned by midichlorians, this is worth a look. After all, now that Star Wars is under the umbrella of the mouse, you can expect lots of different manifestations from A long time ago, and a galaxy far far away.

Parking is free, and there are plenty of spaces when their isn't other events or services going on at the same location. My first visit was for a family kid's birthday party, and we were all pleasantly surprised. The party itself was organized well and had its own area inside one of the buildings. We had our own area decorated (you can bring your own decorations, too), and the food was fantastic for amusement park food. We had pizza, turkey sandwiches, chicken tenders, soda, and punch. We had about an hour for lunch before being released to enjoy the rest of the park. Many of the staff were kind during the party and throughout the park and made the experience that much nicer. The variety of rides here will please most young kids and adults. There are a couple of roller coasters, a carousel, a train that circles once around the park, and many more rides. I'm surprised how much they fit into the park space. There is also an arcade and a petting zoo. For food in the park, you have the standard burgers, pizza, tenders, pretzels, churros, ICEE, ice cream, and more. The prices aren't too bad either. Plenty of snacks and merch to purchase, too. There are also plenty of places to sit and relax, with shaded areas. Especially needed during a warm SoCal day. It was the first time for many guests in our party, and everyone enjoyed the experience. Many of the kids want to go back and have their birthday parties here next year, too.

It's a fun time, less crowded than Disneyland, much simpler than Disneyland, and a lot of fun! I've got three kids under the age of 12, and there's a lot for them to do in Camp Snoopy. There are some solid deals on food and drinks too, and while the meals are nothing to write home about for the most part, some other places have some really good portion sizes. Half-chicken meal at the Boardwalk is a good deal. Parking is a bit steep. I'm surprised that it was $40 even in the general parking lot. But the walk to the park is short, so I like the convenience (ahem, Disneyland). Is it as immersive as Disneyland? No. Is the app good? Not really. (lol for example it said the log ride wait was 15 minutes but actually it took an HOUR). Is the storytelling and music as good as Disney? Heck no. But it's a LOT of fun, the roller coasters slap (esp. Ghost Rider) and it's hecka cheaper, especially if you buy an annual pass. As I mentioned before, Camp Snoopy is brilliant for kids under the age of 10, and my 11-year-old still has some fun on the rides there. Highlights include the spinning swing rides, Sally's Big Swing, and the Snoopy Roller Coaster. The Wild West Ambience is on point. Bandits still rob your train mid-ride, and the live banjo music at the barbecue joint in Old Town was a nice touch! All in all, a solid good time. We left right after that (5pm) so I'm not sure when it was opened back up but I know It was back up and running the next morning. Also, we had a cabana rented. My husband thought it would be nice to be near the bathrooms, but the smell coming from the restroom was horrendous so we luckily were able to move to a new cabana. If it had been any busier, we would've had to stay there or hopefully get a refund. I agree with another review, asking for a dress code because there were some outfits that were extremely inappropriate for such a family and kid friendly establishment. Who doesn't love corny jokes? Well, the Jungle Cruise is your place…read more Let's start, shall we? Looks like we are going on for Nile after Nile and after Nile, and if you don't think so, you're in denial. On your right, you'll see our limestone formations. Most people take it for granite.........That joke rocks! Now you don't see that every day, but I do....Every seven minutes. No need to worry, ladies; these are MAN-eating piranhas! This is the Britney Tribe. I sure hope they don't hit me one more time with their Britney Spears. Now we will take an unnecessary right, followed by an unnecessary left; also on the left, you'll see where Walt ran out of money. Don't worry, I'll scare him off (The Hippos). I LOVE YOU! Yup, works on all the men in my life. Here we see the natives celebrating the solstice; let me see if I can translate.... You put your left foot in. You put your left foot out. You put your left foot in. IDK folks, sounds like a lot of hokey pokey to me. Hey! These hippos are only dangerous when they are wiggling their ears and blowing bubbles, but Bubbles isn't here tonight, so I think we are safe! NOW FOR THE END OF THESE JUNGLE JOKES. On behalf of myself and the CA Prison Work Release Program, thank you. It's not a job. It's a second chance As you leave, watch your head and watch your step; if you miss your step and hit your head, watch your mouth. "Well folks, we've reached the end of our journey. I'd tell you to get out... but Disney prefers I say, 'Please watch your step as you exit the boat.' Thanks for being such a wild crew, and remember--if you liked my jokes, my name is Skipper Eric. If you didn't... my name is Skipper Jim. Have a wild day!"
