I especially like Canon's ELPH series because the cameras are sleek and super compact, yet still produce outstanding photos. They're also quite durable... well, except for my last camera (an SD1400 IS). Anyone who knows me knows I take a ton of pictures. My camera goes with me almost everywhere. I think I wore my last ELPH out. I started having power issues with it so I called Canon's support line for help. The Canon rep told me I would have to ship my camera into their service center in Virginia so a technician could diagnose the problem. The rep emailed me step-by-step instructions of what to do. I ended up on Canon's web site where I filled in a repair request form. After filling out the form with my contact info, camera model number and serial number, etc. I discovered my camera was still under warranty. That's funny because I thought I was outside the one-year warranty window. The web site also produced a packing slip and shipping label for me. I shipped my camera off via U.S. standard mail and received a refurbished camera (with all-new accessories) in six business days. That was fast. I basically got a new camera and extra accessories (battery, battery charger, cables, etc.) for free. For the speed and efficiency of Canon's service, how can I not give them five stars? I was…read morereally surprised by how many backdrops, canvases & props she had to work with for our photo shoot! They all photographed so well! The lighting was phenomenal! Her gallery room/ office made my family feel very comfortable and at home while we photographed our baby. Since Erin has young children of her own she was a natural with my baby which was such a relief. I am always so anxious about my little one having a dirty diaper or spit up, getting the smash cake everywhere but Erin was so gracious and was super hands on. She knew just what to do to get my son to play with her props and smile. I couldn't have imagined the session goinf any better honestly. The pictures were given promptly, within 2 or 3 days. I was actually stunned by how many GOOD shots she got of my little guy. I mean, he was moving around the whole time . Best part, I really feel like she is sooooo well priced for what I got!!! I'm so glad I chose this option as I saved quite a few bucks. I popped my USB thumb drive into one of the photo center computers, and within minutes I was on my way. Very simple to use, easy navigation and all self service - but if you need a hand there is always a member of staff around to help. I opted for a text message to be sent to my phone when the prints were ready, by the time I'd walked back to the car, I received a text message that the prints and photo card were ready! Crazy quick! The prints weren't too bad, the quality was a bit weak on the matte finish, but I was most impressed with the thank you cards. Definitely check Walmart out for any gifts or Holiday cards, there's some great deals for something with a personal touch!
