My kids and I have a great time every week picking up our comic pulls and browsing back issues!

This place is my favorite hometown comic shop. The owner is super kind and helpful without being overly involved- you're actually allowed to peruse and chill. Frequently, the shop's mascot dog is around and she is super sweet. In terms of selection, they're very solid. There's not a ton of international stuff, but they have the big ones. For a smaller location, the selection of indie titles is impressive. I love the intimate feel of this place. I've never felt uncomfortable as a woman or in general and the shop has been able to answer any questions I've ever had. Love it here! read more

I love this store . I started reading and collecting comic books again this past year after about a 15 year hiatus. The owner of the store took the time to listen to my questions and get me on track to start reading and collecting again. He learned my name ( and remembered it ! ) and started a " pull list" for me and even found back issues of stuff I had missed . Exceptional customer service is an understatement. The atmosphere of the store is laid back and friendly. I can't express how much I look forward to visiting the Comic Cubicle. Do yourself a favor and go see for yourself. read more

Great store. Strong selection of books and merchandise. I wish there were more trades. Helpful staff. The man working was very patient and kind with my three daughters. I'll be back for sure. Lovely mom & pop comic shop. Staff was very nice, welcoming and we had an engaging conversation. I didn't feel overwhelmed or pressured to purchase anything (even though I did purchase somethings). Really cool statues and stuff all over. Large variety of comics to choose from. Only down side is it's hard to find by GPS...but that added to the charm for me. It doesn't face the main thoroughfare, it's actually on the back side of where the GPS leads. It's worth the hunt! read more

Love this place...I don't get in as much as I should. I work in the industry myself as an artists for many publishing companies....and have a hold box located at Comic Cubicle....the owner is amazing...and keeps my books in my hold box for me. Great customer service!!! And is always willing to he anyone walking in. I have to say, I had books in there on hold for almost a year and the owner was very pleasant and never rude about reminding me.....like I mentioned....I don't get in there enough .... which is a pitty...great place! read more

Awesome place! This place was sort of accidentally discovered when looking for a place to buy some coffee while on a weekend "stay-cation" in Williamsburg. I am so glad we found it! My boyfriend is the comic book fan, so was even more excited than I was. They seem to have a great selection, but the owner was what made the place worth five stars. He was so very helpful, not only to me but to every single customer that stepped foot into the door. He even noticed that my bf was looking at Doctor Who comics and got him an Old School rare comic from behind the counter to look at (and of course he decided to purchase!) I love small businesses like this! If you're looking for some comics, please stop in and spend your money here instead of at some big business retailer online. read more

I've been going to Ned's shop since I was 10 years old. I credit this place as where my comic book reading hobby really took off. Ned is a really nice guy and I've always liked this collection, new and old comics. It's a neat little gem for comic book collectors. Plus, how about that cool Silver Surfer mannequin in the middle of the shop? Awesome! read more

I, a female, walked in, hoping to buy my first Captain America comics. I will be the first to admit that I thought superheroes were stupid until I saw Avengers in theaters,but I'm legitimately into all things Marvel now. I was hoping for recommendations as to where I should start, but I didn't even get a Hello when I walked in. I looked around, perused the Marvel comics, looked at some apparel, and ten minutes later left since no one came over to talk to me. I still don't have any comics :-( read more

Very cool store in a great area. It's a little hidden but once you find it you will be happy. Lots of back issues with Bronze Age and up right to modern on the floor. Silver age books are in the cases and behind the counter so be sure to ask. They have some nice stuff. Staff is always friendly and has helped me each time I've gone in to look around. Decent comic store, but not much else - and no table space either. No international comics and novels, unclear desperation of current and old comics, and horrible layout at back - watch out not to fall as you avoid silver surfer and a water fountain. read more

The store was warm and friendly! The owner/employee was very nice, and the store was clean and in great shape! HOWEVER, It appeared that the Magic: The Gathering cards for sale were actually resealed, meaning that someone went through them for anything of value, before putting them up for sale. This to me was very shady, and I did not make a purchase due to this. A friend who did, opened his box to find the one booster pack it included was torn at the top and bottom, and clearly opened in the past. For this shady practice, I giving the lowest rating I can, and it's a shame, because everything else SEEMED great. Buyers beware. read more

Extremely helpful staff. If something is coming out and I find out late, they always do everything in their power to accommodate me. Well stocked with back issues and vintage items. Highly recommend a visit even if your just visiting our town. read more

Very average - though friendly. Organization isn't the best - and hard to find titles. Disappointed there was little to no gaming merch, but then again, it does not advertise itself as a game store. I just like it when they go hand in hand. read more
