Cash Only! Its posted but people seem to forget. This place is a classic small-town diner, not too far from where I work. Perfect for the crack-of-dawn morning breakfast start up and go. Good diner coffee, always a heap of food on whatever I've ordered. Again, cash only and limited hours, not that its a bad thing just something you should be aware of. Limited seating and sometimes you have to wait - I'm told patience is a virtue - so I wait. I like the one-up joints like this better than B Evans and certainly more affordable. read more

We stopped here for breakfast, after calling first to see if they had inside or outside service available. We got to sit outside in the sun, at a little area they had set up with tables. (I am very much a nice weather person, so, when it's nice out, I always want to eat outside. Can't stand inside and air conditioning that is usually so cold you can't enjoy the experience). We are from Michigan, where everything is locked down, and we haven't had a nice meal at a restaurant since March, so being in Ohio, was a definite treat. The wait staff here were amazing. They bent over backwards to make sure we had what we needed. And, that involved running back into the restaurant a few times, and then back out again. Food was great and very affordable. We will definitely be back, the next time we are in the Sandusky area. We appreciate the great service. read more

Where to start where to start..... First off, I thought I might get killed and drug into the woods here. This is a mobile home turned into a TINY restaurant. As "outsiders" to this area walking in here felt very uncomfortable. This place is cash only. I ate oatmeal, and toast, while those I was with had full breakfasts. I was in town for a race event at the summit Motorsports park and stumbled upon this place one morning when looking for breakfast. So glad I stopped in because I was not disappointed! The server was very friendly and the place had a nice welcoming atmosphere. The food tasted very fresh and probably some of the best breakfast food I've had in a while. The place was very busy at 8am so I could tell I wasn't the only person impressed with this place! The food came out fast and we were able to get a good meal in before the first race started of the morning! Will definitely come back next time I'm in town! read more

i like places like this. out of the way or only locally known (i know now, so your secret is safe with me for now). a great place to grab breakfast and mingle with the locals from around Norwalk. i had their special (country fried steak) in which i was told to get by a fellow railroader who used to live here. the amount of food was perfect, and the coffee was full. will be back when stuck in belleuve. read more

I was so pleasantly surprised by this restaurant! The food was dirt cheap, which made me a bit worried, but my $3.50 hamburger was top notch! Bring cash, they don't take plastic. I was up here for a business meeting and got in a little earlier than expected so stopped for breakfast. Place is small but very clean. Waitress was very attentive and pleasant. I like over easy eggs but hesitate to order them out because not many do them right but I took a chance and I'm glad I did. The cook nailed them! Looked on the internet for a good breakfast place on our way to cedar point and came across a review for this place , so we decided to try it and boy what a find . When we pulled into the parking lot it was packed with cars and the place does appear to be a bit small but when we went in we were lucky enough to get seated right away, our waitress was with us in a jiffy and she was a nice as can be . She took our orders promptly and they were out super fast . We ordered the special and it was awesome , best country fried steak I ever had served with hash Browns and two eggs , overall a great find and hope to go back soon read more

Your typical diner food at diner food prices. Small place with only about 25 seats, but the food is great. Not a 5 star restaurant, but you get what you pay for and it is good, filling cheap yummy eats! I love the Star omelet!! The Star Bagel! Everything is yummy!
