My advice is stay away…read more Long story short................. Was referred to Dr. Perez for a suspected Actinic keratosis right in the middle of my nose. Guess what? He missed it. Wasn't until I got home, did I realize he did not treat it. So, I ended up setting another appointment with another dermatologist as the spot was biopsied to be Basil Cell Cancer. Remember, this is why I was referred to his office! How in the world could he miss it??? It gets even better............ He missed another spot on my forearm that was also biopsied, and it turned out to be Squamous Cell Cancer. Ended up seeing a third Dermatologist who performed MOHL's Surgery to remove the growth he completely missed. Believe it or not, if that isn't enough to stay away...... He was not in my network so instead of paying my normal deductible, he charged me full price as my insurance does not cover out of network physicians. My opinion is low class for not telling me my insurance was not valid at that office, also if the cancer had not been caught and spread? Not cool! Any good attorneys out there? Honestly in disbelief and do not say you were not warned. Denny

Will not recommend this medical practice to anyone given that they take health issues as a joke…read more Avoid this practice to save you from misdiagnoses. Had a really bad experience with this clinic. My first visit was virtual and the medication prescribed did not work. Was asked to provide pictures prior to the visit which were not even reviewed by anyone based on the questions that were asked. So I scheduled an in person visit with the nurse practitioner as a follow up. There was no attempt for a thorough diagnosis. Generic triggers like weather and stress were given as findings. I sought a second opinion and the doctor performed required tests and laid out treatment options. That is what we expect from any medical practitioner. The two visits were a total waste of time and money with incorrect diagnosis.

Dr. Black is INCREDIBLE!!! She is very experienced and knowledgeable. I never feel rushed or…read moreembarrassed to ask her questions. She gives me that confidence. Whatever we discuss, she explains thoroughly and will even draw pictures or write down information so that I have a better understanding. I also appreciate that they have prices for me on whatever I'm planning on doing so that way I'm not surprised. Plus, she's from Louisiana so you know she's cool. The staff is nice. The nurses get back with you soon if you have any questions and are helpful and kind. The office is clean. They do sell products there, like SkinCeuticals and EltaMD. A display in the waiting room even has testers. My only warning would be that it could be tough to get in for an appointment, especially with Dr. Black. I think this is a sign of how popular and in demand she is. The staff tries to accommodate as best as possible and will even call if there are cancellations (if requested). I'm very pleased with my experiences here and look forward to being a lifelong patient.
