I've been seeing Liz Widmer for many years, and I can honestly say she has changed my life. She has helped me manage plaque psoriasis, acne, a rash, and even supported me with weight loss. Every time I see her, she brightens my day--she radiates positivity and genuine care for her patients. She takes the time to listen, explain, and make me feel comfortable no matter what I'm dealing with. While the office staff can sometimes be difficult to reach, I've never had any problems since I always meet with Liz via telehealth and communicate with her through the patient portal. She is always responsive and attentive. I don't know where I'd be without her expertise and kindness. I feel so fortunate to have her as my dermatologist and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for excellent, compassionate care. read more

My college son went to see Dr. Chung for minor breakouts while on break and before he could even explain what he was dealing with, Dr. Chang walked in and asked if he needed to get on Accutane. Very off putting and not even looking at his skin before recommending a major drug with side effects. There should be some common courtesy involved when you have a set appt time to at least give the customer a heads up or apologize for the delay. First impression of this practice was great! Making an appointment over the phone was easy. Upon arrival, had to fill out a couple of forms and the wait time was under 5 minutes. That was the first win. Daisy was the doctor's assistant and she was friendly and reassuring. Within a matter of minutes, Dr. Vin arrived and the 30 odd minutes of consultation was awesome with next steps discussed in detail. Dr. Vin was great - very knowledgeable, did not beat around the bush, gave all relevant information and answered all questions. She had the right mix of the professional and human element, which is so important in a doctor. Checkout process was seamless and follow up appointments were booked as well. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Convenient location on Denton Tap with plenty of parking space. Highly recommend this practice based on my first experience. read more

This place has bad reviews that I decided to help and leave them a good review!! Based on my experience!!! I was greeted when I walked in and taken care of immediately!!!! I felt welcomed! Gabriella took notes of my concerns, listened to what I had to say, and passed it along to the doctor, so when the dr came in, she already knew exactly why I was in, and made sure she understood my concerns. I am glad that we finally have a diagnosis and treatment plan for my daughters troublesome skin. She has been dealing with problems with her skin since she was little. Dr. Harin explained the root issue in a way that was easy to understand. She also made sure that we understood what treatment would look like and asked if we had any questions. I left the office with written documentation too that goes more into depth about treatment options. We also received samples until we receive the prescriptions. Dr. Harin and her staff were professional, efficient, and courteous. As I was waiting to check out one of the front staff members acknowledged that she would be with me shortly. I appreciated being seen. If I have permission from my daughter I will post before and after pictures. Finally we were able to make a 7:30 a.m. appointment! Yes! one star is generous. i can truly say that nancy chung is not only the worst dermo ive ever encountered, but the worst doctor IN GENERAL. Never met someone with such awful bedside manner and not willing to listen to why you're even at the appointment in the first place. i had very specific goals, my skin was fine to begin with, and she completely wrecked my skin with the products i paid approx 150 for. not to mention the 146 dollar office visit. almost 300 dollars for someone to RUIN my skin and diagnose me with a bunch of random things i know i don't have. OBVIOUSLY the medication didn't work, i literally tried to tell her my history and she basically started huffing and puffing because she already made her mind up about what was going on with my skin. Debated on giving 3 stars, but the care we have received here has been good and I don't want to hurt anyone. Front office staff is friendly, and providers are adequate, but they do not respect my time. Over the years (brought my kids here too), I noticed increasingly long wait times. This time, I scheduled an early appointment. I was the only person there and arrived 15 minutes early as instructed. They put me in a freezing room and asked me to don the paper gown. After 15 minutes, I peeked out the door and didn't see a soul. There were no other patients there, so I let them know they had missed my appointment time and left. If this were a one time thing, I would have waited. My time is valuable too. read more

Dr Lucy Li was so disappointing. I came in wanting a test for my hair loss and some skin tags removed. She was not friendly, and she more or less said she wouldn't do the test. She wanted me to have all of this bloodwork done, which was not necessary. I have a specialist who manages that. The last time I came in to get skin tags removed, they just froze them off. This time, she wanted to see how many and give me a quote. I told her that my deductible and out of.poclet were met, but she blew me off. I was so frustrated after waiting an hour, then for her to try to do everything she could not to treat/test as per my request. Will not go.to her again. read more

Wouldn't recommend if you need an office to be responsive or understanding. That being said, I truly hate leaving this bad review bc the Dr. I saw multiple times Dr. Vin was beyond amazing! She was understanding, very informative and knowledgeable and made me feel extremely comfortable. The staff at this office though, made me feel very hopeless as a parent and extremely frustrated. I had a procedure scheduled with Dr Vin to have a mole removed on my back, I intentionally waited for her to come back from maternity leave bc I liked her that much. The morning of my procedure my 2 year old daughter woke up, not being able to hold anything down. My husband had work all day and therefore I was the one who had to take my daughter to the dr. And find out she actually had Covid. I called the office at 830am, was on hold for 10 min and finally got directed to their call center. I informed the call center what was going on, they let me know they would pass the message along and someone would call back. I received a call back from a receptionist at the office, let them know I had to take my daughter to the dr and what was going on. Not once was a no show fee mentioned, or anything else mentioned that would make me think there was an issue with me rescheduling for the next week (which we did). Fast forward to the next week, a day before my rescheduled procedure. I happened to go to my portal and found a bill for $100 listed as a "No show" fee. Frankly I was extremely upset, this was the very first I had heard of said bill. So then were they just going to tack it on to my bill for the procedure when I came in the next day? When I called, to dispute the charge stating that I would be more than happy to show Dr visit notes stating what had been going on with my Daughter. I was told that the manager DeShay would contact me, and that an urgent note would be placed with this information. I never received a call that day. So come the next morning (day of my procedure) I still hadn't received a call an hour after they opened, I called again. I was told once again that the manager DeShay, did know about my situation and would call when she could. My husband ended up calling two hours later, an hour before my procedure and was placed on a 15 min wait for the manager. Just to be told she had stepped into a meeting while he was on hold but that she would call back. At that point I was fed up, and extremely disheartened by the entire practice. My husband called to cancel my procedure only 5 min after getting off that call and the manager somehow answered his phone call. How odd, she never offered any type of apology about the lack of communication or the constant holds/phone calls we never received back. She simply stated that she would cancel the appointment for us. Y'all this was the MANAGER OF THIS OFFICE DeShay. I know this makes it seem like maybe we were difficult clients or they were already fed up with us at this point, believe me I know that happens I worked at different clinics myself for well over a decade. I can promise though that my husband and I had been nothing but good clients. We showed up for all appointments, paid our bills and listened/trusted the dr's we had seen. This was our first cancellation in general with this practice. The whole experience was bizarre and quite frankly truly bad business. I do hope that the practitioners just didn't know this was all going on. My hope is that parents read and understand that no matter how sick your child is, no matter how frequently you try to right the issue. Your pleas will fall to deaf ears and you will be treated with the same disrespect that I was. In the end, the manager never discussed the bill for our "No Show" fee but it is still on the portal. Unfortunately, we will pay it bc obviously I do not want it to go against my name. That being said, just learn from my disaster and if your kid gets sick hopefully it is 24 hrs ahead of your appointment or you have other child care (than daycare-that can't take them with Covid) or you will be paying the $100. read more

Docs are great, but as a medical practice, this one is poorly run. Every time I have a visit, I don't get seen until at least 30 minutes past my appointment time. And this is even if I arrive early for my appointment. Not to mention, as a derm clinic where most of your patients have to undress, you keep the office freezing... and I'm the type of person who is always hot! Online scheduling system is a waste of time. You pick the days of the week you are available and they automatically pick a date and time for you, without calling or messaging to confirm that the time actually works for us, the patient. I like Dr. Li, however, Dr. Chung was very disappointing. Medical assistant who brought me back for an infected pore - I was concerned about staph - told me staph doesn't look like that. A doctor came in and said Lyme in 1 minute and prescribed a lengthy round of antibiotics to cover all "possibilities". When I asked about possibility of staph, infected pore or testing it, she put on 1 glove to feel the spot and told me the Rx would cover any problem and suggested a probiotic. She then said she would check on me in 3 weeks. She was in the room for less than 6 mins. Not up to Dr. Li's level of care. Absolutely won't be back unless I can specifically see Dr. Li. read more

Really bad. I didn't get seen until 30 minutes past my appointment time. Lab test results came in a automated mail with patient's portal link and were no good. However, you can't do anything in the portal to follow up! No chat feature or phone numbers, only a very sophisticated billing module and disclaimers everywhere. Same day "Jaqueline" left me a voicemail asking me to call them back to talk about my biopsy results. I've been trying for two days to call them back (a Frisco number) just to hear an annoying recorded message for more than one hour each time. No waiting time information is provided of course. Left message, nobody called me back. I tried the Coppell number with same results. Let's see what happens on day three. This is very impersonal and rough. Distressful. read more

I've been seen at Epiphany derm for a while, and have always loved my experiences here. Dr. Vin is amazing and very attentive.

Epiphany charged me $35 for a no show. The last time I was there, I was pregnant and passed out mid-appointment. Did I make a follow up appointment? I have no idea. But nothing was in my calendar and the office never called or emailed me a reminder. I have no problem with a no show charge, but if you're going to do that, at least call or email reminders. And maybe don't accept follow up appointments from clients who just passed out and may not remember later. read more

Five months ago, I called to make an appointment at Epiphany Dermatology in Coppell for my child. Whoever answered my call was curt and unfriendly. Then when we came in for the appointment, I received the same dismissive, patronizing treatment from that same person. When I tried, after respectfully waiting my turn, to ask her a question, she was curt and dismissive to me -- but a few minutes later was very loud and friendly with some of her friends that had walked into the office. I *really* wanted to end it there but didn't because my child needed a dermatologist and going somewhere new would take too much time. Some weeks later, my wife took our child in for a follow up appointment. She mentioned to me that the lady at the front desk was rude to her as well as another patient's parent in the office. Wow. When going to the office is this unpleasant, it's time to move on. It's too bad because we liked our doctor there. read more

Worst experience I've ever had at any office. We went in for my husbands cyst and were told it would be 500 dollars from a deductible but, we were never told until we showed up. We said we couldn't do that so, she then says we have to pay for a cancellation then which is 35 dollars. I'm in shock bc I didn't cancel. We were there in the office. No one told us before hand about the charge. If they had we would have canceled. Plus the Frisco Doctor we had a moth earlier was the worst Doctor I've ever experienced and I've worked for years in a hospital and a Doctors office. Do not go here. They didn't explain the side effects of meds that caused me to go to ER due to prolonged fever (minocycline) And my lymph node was swollen that led me to get an excisional biopsy of cervical lymph node. I liked the doctor and was very impressed when she asked me to approve the cost of an optional service first because I had a high deductible insurance plan. I was told one price and was told I was paying the full cost when I checked out and paid. It they billed the insurance twice that amount and now want me to pay more. They took a biopsy out of my leg and told me the results were that I had a rash (duh). $667 and no results from the biopsy other than "you have a rash", and still they will not tell me what they injected me with. read more

Absolutely the worst patient service ever experienced. After looking at other reviews, I understand these people are supposed to be "friendly". I don't need friendly, I need competent. These people are not competent. My wife needed a prescription refilled urgently to address a skin condition. This condition was diagnosed by this office. A woman by the name of "Nani" (sp?) after having asked her to speak to the doctor, told me to go to an urgent care facility. Talk about a drone, this woman does not belong in healthcare. Not sure what the issue is with this place, because after all they are dermatologists, not neurologists. Apparently everyone is too busy at this place to actually assist patients. Avoid at all costs. My take away is that they are looking for the $40 co-pay rather than handle any patients with any level of concern. read more
