Small location big flavors! Loved the customer service and the quality of the shrimp! They have garlic bread which is the game changer here. It's a small corner restaurant but you feel at home. They have lots of options and lemon pepper fries are our thing. Highly recommend the full experience with all flavors mixed in ingredients. Prices are fair for a group of 4 with 4 pounds of shrimp + drinks snd Michiladas $150 Tab. 10 stars!

I seriously drive 40 minutes just to eat at Star Crab in Upland California , and it's worth it every single time. Their Cajun shrimp Full House is hands down the best -- perfectly seasoned, flavorful, and always cooked just right. On top of the amazing food, the service is always incredible. Everyone is friendly, attentive, and makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. If you're in Upland, this spot is a must-try! I wish I posted a picture of the food, but it was too late. Everything was done.

We ordered takeout and the lady was so kind and thorough. We ordered the shrimp bucket with double clams and an extra order of shrimp. We got our shrimps peeled and head off. We ordered the medium level Full House sauce. So much sauce and the corn and potatoes were also soo good. Not a fan of sausages in general but the ones here are good. The price is reasonable and the food is clean and plentiful. Will definitely come back and order more.

I have been craving crawfish all day but I have been at work so I decided to do some research and found this place and called to make a to go order. I picked it up within 30min and the food was delicious! My cravings for crawfish had been satisfied. They also put so much sauce it's perfect! Now I have extra sauce I can use for home recipes .

SO GOOD! 3 pounds of shrimp, 1pound of crawfish for 2 people! About $106 not bad!

The owner is the sweetest human! She goes out of her way to make sure everything is good enough for each customer. I love the quirky things she does like serving refills with a measuring cup, she sits down with you to take your order and she can have a conversation! Also, it's so nautical in here! Her decorations are cute and silly. And the food is sooooo good. I've tried serval seafood boils around town and nothing compares to this authentic flavor!

I was in town for a day and stopped by this location. i was greeted when i walked in. the lady in the front was doing it all so we had a slow start to ordering but she was so nice. the restaurant feels really homey. i started with a raspberry tea which is free refills. i never had crawfish in my boil so i tried it with the shrimp full house sauce and i think medium spice it was so good. The corn was great my potatoes were a little too soft for my liking. if im ever back in town ill definitely be back.

Let's start with the inside... Small, themed, clean and up to par. Service: we happened to be the first people to arrive with a child. They were running late (4:30, opens at 2:30), very friendly and accommodating as well thinking we were waiting for a long time but we assured them that we were not and just arrived as well. The food was standard. Now that 911 sauce and Crazy sauce I had used for dipping definitely grows into a strong heat so if you're into spicy then that's the heat you really want. The lemons are rationed but I understand that since since I see other places that carry a bunch of waste. We had a little back and forth about the sauce since extra was for bag only but once we got it together that's when the bowls came out and it made all the sense in the world. The wonton soup! Amazing, as well as the extra fried chicken. Places usually don't get it but they got that extra frying to perfection. Crab and scallops were cooked well, the lobster just wasn't done right and came out in its own bag. Once they figure that out, it would have been a tip top meal. 3/5 stars just for the lobster as it was the most expensive thing we got and don't forget you won't spare any expense as crab was 36/lbs, scallops 35/lbs, I believe the lobster was 40 or 50/lbs so all in all for two and a baby.... Leftovers were brought home happened to be around 236+ a 30$ tip! Will definitely still come back though!!! 3/5 for the lobster and late upon opening and service was good just a bit lacking waiting on us to figure everything out for them.

Love this place! The owner is so sweet. My family was craving seafood so we decided to stop by on a Saturday night. It gets very busy on the weekends. The space is pretty small so keep that in mind if you have a larger group. There were a few large groups that came in after us and waited a long time for a table because they had to find smaller tables to put together. We ordered Calamari for an appetizer and the "Blue Star" family bucket with an extra 2 lbs of shrimp. The Calamari was decent and I wish they gave more calamari than french fries. The seafood was cooked perfectly and their sauce is sooo good!

Genuinely flavorful and spicy. The owner is very sweet and talks to all the customers. She has a beautiful restaurant and amazing food. Bossanova playing its very cute here.

Came here for a celebration with my daughter first off they were very accommodating to the space for us to eat with her, second off service, even with just 2 servers they did their best to come around to us again to check on us, while the space is small it has charm, now the boil lord have mercy that boil I've been to spots in Vegas ,spots local to us ,spots in the east coast when I was stationed over there and this is in its own tier lord have mercy the sauce was thick with seasoning I'm tired of watery ass boil and this was perfect this will be my go to spot, portions were insane I'm usually a big back and can finish my bags but I had to take some home as for their hours for people reviewing about it I asked and they are dealing with personal issues which is prompting them to open at 4

I don't know where to start. The owners are extremely kind! They are so sweet, I've been coming for about 7 years and she remembered me. The food is sooooo good, the prices are $16 for a pound of shrimp, which is insanely cheap especially in our current world. It's so cute and cozy in there. I know this may be weird but even though it's a seafood place it smells good. She lights candles and it smells so good. She gave me a free pack of dried mangos -as well. I forgot her name but the owner. I will always return here. The shrimp is fresh. Sometimes other places the shrimp is mushy but I've never had mushy shrimp from them. My order came up to about $35 and that was shrimp, potatoes, sausage, corn, rice and extra sauce.

Overall enjoyable, friendly staff, with good food…read more Service was slow. Our entrees took an eternity to come out but it was done well. Drinks: - All the drinks were strong but the strongest was the hurricane (lots of rum). I found all the drinks to have a good amount of alcohol and tasty. The Berry Smash was probably my least favorite but not bad - very sweet though. Appetizers - Brussels Sprouts had a heavy balsamic flavor that was strong in flavor but enjoyable - frog legs - you get a good number of pieces and I don't get to eat this often so definitely worth a try - gumbo small - individual sized gumbo that has a little kick with a mix of seafood options Entrees - Quarter Catfish (fried was recommended) - nice piece size that was fried well and tasty, there was lump crab with a butter sauce that was great (I actually liked this more than the catfish) - Crawfish Pasta - not bad but decent. not the most flavorful considering most things were. - shrimp jambalaya - you can substitute the rice for pasta - strong kick, a little dry as pasta and decent Desserts: - Bread pudding in bourbon sauce - comes out sizzling and made in house; wasn't my favorite I think the sauce was too much - Carrot cake - definitely the best dessert they have; reminds me of a carrot cake cinnabon - Cheesecake - the top layer has a very sharp cheddar taste; not your classic mild cheesecake - you must really like cheese to enjoy this Overall I thought the food items they really experimented with and enjoyed the creativity. I don't think everything sat well with my taste but the food was very enjoyable and not too pricey. Staff was very polite though service was slow with the entrees I enjoyed our waiter a lot. Not too many creole food places that I've found that I've enjoyed and had an overall good experience here. Food wasn't perfect, but I applaud them on the uniqueness of the food, friendly waiter, and local business. Would definitely come back again. Food: 4.5/5 Service: 4.5/5 Ambiance: 4.5/5
