I've used him 2.5 years now, lots of repairs from complete fully replaced breaks to spark plug gasket replaced, full alignments , oil changes, he even found an oil leak NO ONE could. I highly recommend taking your car to Star Auto Center after 2 visits. My son and I came to Star Auto Center today because I was advised by I thought another respectable auto shop that advised my son the alternator needed to be replaced but I had just had it replaced by Star Auto Center about a month prior. I was fairly upset because I didn't understand why it already needed to be replaced. Star Auto was patience with my frustration and rechecked the car right away and found that it was actually another issue and fixed it right away. It's very hard sometimes to trust a mechanic when you have been taken advantage of before but Star Auto Center was quick to resolve the issue. read more

A horrific sound was coming from somewhere underneath my car every time I hit a bump. I took my '02 Toyota 4Runner to my usual mechanic. After a test drive and an inspection, she couldn't figure out what was going on. Her and her guy tightened some bolts underneath, charged me $20 and sent me on my way. But the sound was still there and actually getting worse. Paranoid that the wheels were about to come off, I stopped at Burbank Auto Doctor. They were cordial enough but too busy to see me until two days later. I knew the issue couldn't wait. As I was randomly heading home, I stumbled across Jerry's shop. This was good karma. Jerry quickly diagnosed that I had a broken strut. He fit me in that day and the car was repaired within a few hours. Furthermore, his prices were reasonable and he was easy to talk to.
