Travis took it in and when he got the phone apart he pulled the connector off of the board. It wasn't due to his inabilities but actually the way Google (which I will never buy another phone from) designs their phones. When he went to try to get another connector (GOOGLE WON'T SELL THE CABLE) so what does Travis do? He buys me another phone. I went the unconventional way and decided to try a different battery not sourced from Apple instead of having another battery issue again- and to think about it, the phone isn't even 3 years old yet. I also didn't want to waste my time and visit a busy Apple Store full of nerds and stuff. I dropped off my phone and picked it up 2hrs later. No issues. It was working as I had expected it to and the capacity went back to 100%. Of course there's the nag screen that the battery is non-OEM which I don't care about- just as long as it gives me enough charge to last more longer than it previously did. Only time will tell how this new battery will perform. Their work is also back with a 6 month guarantee in which anything happens to the phone due to battery issues, they will address it. Peace of mind. Since I wasn't able to leave my phone on the original Tuesday when I brought it in, I decided to come back Saturday so I wouldn't have to leave my phone at the store overnight.
