I went back and paid extra to upgrade to an OLED screen, but that replacement didn't even last a few months before the display started failing. Eventually, the screen went completely black. I had to beg for the gentleman to open it up to at least take a look if anything was loose. Just a suggestion to pay for another new screen and "see what happens." Great, honest service and very nice people. The last time I was there, the person at the front desk suggested that I buy their insurance for $41 a month. He said that after 30 days I could get my phone repaired for free. It seemed a tiny bit pricey but I went for it. After about 70 days, and after I had paid for three months of coverage, I needed a repair. I brought my phone in. The very nice woman at the front desk gave me a number to call to file a claim. I called the number and was told that once I filed the claim I had to wait 30 days to get a repair. And I'd have to pay for another month of coverage. (Of course, I had no way of knowing that in 30 days they wouldn't tell me I had to wait yet another 30 days.) I canceled the plan and took the phone to the front desk. I figured since I was there I'd pay for the repair myself -- I couldn't wait 30 days for my phone -- and then I'd cut ties with uBreakiFix. He took all the information and then told me they didn't have the needed part. I had been there for almost half an hour before I was told that. I told the guy that I would be taking my business elsewhere because I that they scammed me. He nodded in agreement and said nothing. I'm sincerely sad to have to end my years-long relationship with this place.

I looked for an authorized Samsung phone repair facility in Tampa and was led here by Yelp. They ordered the battery and it took 1 week to get there. They quoted a 2 hr time to replace the battery. I waited there. While the process itself took 2 hours, there was a diagnostic program that had to be downloaded and then run afterwards and then some other approvals from Samsung making it 3 hrs. The total fee with tax was about $95. The phone functioned fine. The back panel of the phone was undamaged and the case fits properly now. All the phone functions and stored emails/texts/photos were not disturbed. If you need to repair Apple products, they will use generic parts but this place has official ties to Samsung and only use official Samsung parts.. Their website listed ubreakifix as a legit repair facility. They also repair computers/game consoles there. The only real negative was that they didn't contact me when the battery reached their store. They claimed they did,but I never received an email/text/voice call. .

On 6/16/25, my 7-year-old granddaughter and I visited ifixandrepair to ask a simple question while shopping for groceries. I wanted to know: "why my granddaughter's I-pad would not delete or take any photos?" The worker asked if he could take a look at the I-pad. Since the worker was unable to take photos and delete photos too, he asked if I could leave the I-pad with him so he could check it later. When I returned to ifixandrepair on the following day to get the I-pad, I was told that I had to pay a $30 fee. I asked: "Why am I being charged a $30 fee when I never approved for service to be done and I was never quoted an upfront fee? The worker stated: "The i-pad had to be re-set, you must pay $30 in order to get the i-pad back." I refused to pay the fee and decided to contact BBB. After BBB got involved, the fee was reduced to $15, but I still was not pleased with paying ifixandrepair fifteen dollars. ifixandrepair lied to BBB by stating I told them to repair the I-pad and I raised/shouted my voice about paying the $30 fee afterwards. Since I was tricked and lied on by ifixandrepair, I am warning all customers to be careful because I do NOT want this to happen to you! Since the value was only $15, I decided not to go to small claims court, so I paid $15 on 7/1/25. I will NEVER go back to ifixandrepair for any service!!! Two days later, the screen stopped working entirely. Pitch black. My wife returned to the store on November 24 to get assistance and was told they would not repair the faulty screen because she did not have physical proof of the purchase (a receipt)--despite that she spoke with the same individual who had helped her just a few days prior. My wife and I returned to the store with proof of the banking transaction and the full card number used to make the purchase of the iPhone screen. The same individual, Josef, still refused to help us, and instead tried to sell us another screen at a "discounted" price. Josef admitted that he was the one who had sold the screen to my wife, but said that there was nothing he could do to help. We asked for the owner's contact information, but the employee was evasive and simply provided us a phone number to an automated voicemail. In short, this is not a company that stands by its work and should be avoided at all costs. We've contacted Walmart corporate about the conduct of iFixandRepair and they've promised a resolution, so I will update this review once they reach out. In the meantime, find another place to fix your device that will stand by its work product. Hopefully a company like Walmart will refuse to be associated with in-store vendors with no integrity.
