I had to wait nearly half an hour just to have my picture taken. On top of that, someone cut in front of me and the photographer didn't seem to mind. It took them 40 mins for a picture. I was returning my macbook within the time period that is listed in the stores policy. I barely used the item and decided to get a bigger size screen. went to return it and was denied and they put a not refundable tag online on my product. this was because the $1 box was damaged slightly. yes I was denied a refund and barred from trying again because the box was damaged not the $1200 laptop which is in pristine condition. total morons running the laptop department. I called head office and they apologized and accepted the return immediately. AVOID THIS TRASH STORE! read more

What disappointing customer service from the Manager at this store today June 1, 2017 at 4:45PM. I work from my home and try to keep a spare ink cartridge ready to go. I bought a ink cartridge from this store back on March 24/2017 and today I went to install it. When I bought it, I told the associate my printer and what I was looking for. He gave me the cartridge that costed me $86.90. Today I opened it and when I put it in, the printer said it was the wrong cartridge. Yes it's past the "return policy" yet I was not the one to pick the wrong one. Where is the customer loyalty and take some responsibility Staples. More the manager that even said he would take it back open if it was within the return date. call HP and see what they will do. This is a Staples mistake not HP. Clearly the manager has the final call and his call was NO. Why would anyone want to support such a establishment with no responsibility. My rating is a ZERO. June 28,2018 I returned to the Staples store #106 at the request of a earlier call from the manager Arifur. Today I went to the store and David Marcus Division Sales Manager in the store without any hesitation refunded the in correct cartridge even though it was purchased at the #176 King George Store. The print shop is useless and so difficult to use. The staff does not provide any help leading us to work with trail and error and spending more money. it was the worst and most frustrating experience. Will not recommend staples for printing documents or anything important. read more

No star, if I could choose!!! Worst service in the copy center!!!! Just for ONE 18 by 24 copy, which takes other copying center less than 2 min, will take them more than 3 hours!!! I went in tonight at 6:40pm asking for a copy, they told me it will ready by tonorrow morning ( they close at 9pm! ) And the lady with blond hair has bad attitude, instead of helping customer efficiently, she would educate them to not expect get your copy done fast!!! ( at the time she wasn't doing any copy jobs at all !!! ) Rediculous! !!!!! And the manager there, who named Steven. He doesn't care at all!! Why Surrey staple hire people who don't do their jobs?? The store is similar in layout and stocking to all the other Staples stores, but the service is not. It is managed by David who quite frankly sucks. He is most unhelpful and adheres strictly to whatever store 'policies' he finds useful to support his arguments at any given time. He will not accommodate very reasonable and simple requests with regards to returning defective merchandise. The other staff there seem quite detached. One of them I found extremely condescending. I guess that is what you get for having to work in the poorest neighbourhood in Surrey in the retail office products sector. Another argument for on-line purchases. read more

I came into the King George Blvd. store, as it is closer to me than the Delta store (I commute by public transportation). Turned out to be a waste of my time. I wanted just one drawing (only one) scanned and saved to USB stick, and they acted like a task that only takes a couple of minutes was going to take hours, and wanted me to come back later or the next day to get my drawing and USB stick. The Delta store does the same task right then and there in just a few minutes and boom, done! And they could've easily have done it in just a few minutes; several of their staff were just standing around and completely ignoring customers, so they weren't super-busy. Won't be coming back to the King George Staples store. read more

A little out of my way, however, was here on some other work related stuff last year, therefore, came down here to get some personal lamination done. I wanted to get some of those annoying print at home e-tickets laminated so that I could at least somewhat feel that I have something sturdy and tangible for my concert scrap book collection. The website said that they do 33 mm thickness and came out here specifically for that, however, upon arrival they said that they do not do that and that they would have to send my work out. I had to settle for 5 mm which was too thick, however, beggars cannot be choosers in this situation. The guy working at the til looked and acted as though he really hated his job, I don't blame him. At least they let me use their slicer. read more

This place has got to have the most annoying security and staff I have ever seen. I am in the area once every two months or so and everytime I go into this staples I have security follow me around the whole store. To make sure it wasnt a coincidence I walked to the other side of the store and of course the security guy follows me to every single aisle I went to. To top it off there was another guy on the other side of the aisle and i had 3 people within 5 min ask if I needed anything. This type of thing really makes me want to spend my money at a store. Being treated like a thief from the first minute that you go into a store is a joke. When I say from the first minute I mean within 5 seconds the guy was following me to every single aisle that I went to. The reason I knew it right away is because I have had this happen quite a few times. And the stupid thing is almost every time I bought a bunch of things even after being followed. Now if I get followed like this I dont buy anything and when the security follows me outsode I tell him that his job isnt to follow people around and make someone who was going to spend money leave because he followed them around. I will not buy anything from this store ever again actually. Today I was going to get a cheaper laptop for my kid but because of robodeep I left the store with the 499 I was going to spend there. But Staples on King George Highway must be making too much money so they have security guards who get customers to leave. Anyways If I could give a negative 10 I would. read more

What to expect when going into any of their stores? Understaffed sales people. On this day I was shopping (really shopping) for a printer. There was one model I set my sights on. I got there on that day and lo and behold, the model I wanted, an HP, was on sale. Of course, when it's too good to be true, it must not be true..... They don't have any more in stock. Stupid me for not taking note of their first day in the weekly sales but then again, how often does one shop for a printer? It's not like your shopping groceries. The sales associates were busy with other customers. I finally got a hold of one. I got the help I needed albeit no stock left . I still roamed the aisles trying to figure out if I can find a substitute. But once I've set my sights on one I want it, even if it's no longer there. I decided to go find another associate, to no avail. I saw someone, though with a customer and just decided to stand near them so that I would be next when they were done. It just so happen, it was a supervisor or manager of that branch and she, surprisingly was a great multi tasker. She was able to courteously shift between helping the first customer and me. She went the extra mile to see if other branches had what I wanted that they were out-of-stock on. And she rattled off to me the locations. To add to this, she offered if I wanted one held for her in a location that has that stock. This may be standard practice that's common to people, but when I, as a customer, feel that attention is given to me, and there's a sense of genuineness, I give that person my business. The clincher for me here was that she printed out a map from her computer as to how to get there. I missed her name since I was really in a hurry, but man, what service. I've had internet orders shipped twice to this store and both experiences have been terrible. They repeatedly deny receiving the merchandise and only admit it after the staples callsite confirms delivery to the store. Then they act like nothing happened and you should be grateful to get the items you've been to the store repeatedly to pick up. Grrrrr... read more
