i was shocked when I went in 5 minutes before close and they tried to deny me Amazon return. When I asked where the manager was and even he was reluctant to help me with my return. The kid at the counter scanned my return, told me that my return slip would come out of the printer... grabbed his bag and left. Was told I'd have my images by 6 PM on 26 October. I did not receive my prints ready until the next day when I went to pick up my prints the coloring had lines all over it like their ink had to run out. I already drove 30+ minutes to get them printed here and they sent my product 30 minutes more south to pick up so now I'm driving over an hour. The employees had attitude about me, wanting my order fixed absolutely never coming here again it's not worth it. I would rather wait two weeks for Office Depot to do it correctly. Went in for Amazon returns. Which I understand is not necessarily staples related but if a business is going to choose to have this as on option then they should have their staff be efficient enough to help. At one point there were 5 of us in line for returns and 4 people in line to check out, and an elderly man needed help finding his QR code. The one employee at the front seemed new and obviously stressed. Two employees were in the print center and so I walked over to ask if one of them could come assist their teammate in checking us out. They said they were too busy with print orders and couldn't do so. I decided to leave and change my drop off to Kohls. Wasn't the best customer experience, but again, not staples related, but maybe don't let Amazon use your business as a return spot. read more

I am completely computer illiterate except to plug it in, and reboot if something is not working. Staples in Orem has treated me politely in spite of my ineptness and always made me feel like there are no dumb questions. The new location is more convenient for me. I like that it's near the competition in case they don't have what I need. However, that's not happened so far. I think Staples -- as a chain -- does a good job. This one doesn't distinguish itself in any special way, but it meets my needs better than the competition. read more

I had called in before I showed up to make sure they could print what I needed and the man I talked to assured me that they could. NOPE. Alright. I've had a couple of encounters with the manager of this location and she's flat out rude. The first encounter was when they were getting their store ready for the owner or someone in upper management to come check their store. The employees were frantic about making sure everything was perfect. My son (as 5 year olds do. .) had grabbed something colorful in one of the isles and this manager literally yanked the item out of my sons hands and said, "don't touch that". I was appalled by her behavior. I sent a review in that day and never heard back from anyone. The second encounter was just the other day I was going in to pick up my monthly Calendar print and because their website was down (again) I had to call in. She informed me probably 4 times that they had a huge "production" with such a rude tone. She mentioned they couldn't get my print ready for 2-3 days. I told myself that was the last time I'd step foot in that particular store. They're the worst. I walked into Office Depot and printed out my 3 calendar prints yesterday and bought a printer and had some of the best customer service I've ever had. Boo staples in Orem. Boo. The manager Tanya is consistently rude and dismissive. I actually drive out of my way to the provo one to avoid dealing with this store.

I am very disappointed in the way business is conducted at this store. It took 40 minutes before I was finally able to receive an answer to a very simple question that was asked in a polite manner. I was not treated courteously by 3 out of the 4 people that I was transferred to. They put me on hold for most of the 40 minutes. I waited patiently each time before calling back. Again, I was transferred and put on hold. The one woman insinuated that I was incorrect about the thickness of the paper. I explained that I was getting the information directly from the website. They were not very knowledgeable about their printing services. They could not give me any specific answers as to the cost of printing out certain sizes. They were not able to explain anything about the types of photographic papers that they used. I will not be conducting any of my business through this store. read more
