Perhaps the manager here needs to treat his own staff with more respect since there always seems to be a staffing issue snd product never seems to be available that is clearly labeled as "available in store" and is never there when I drive down. I decided to show this guy a printout where it says the product is there in the store and he actually changed his story before my eyes and then began claiming that it might be amongst a tractor trailor worth of merchandise that has been sitting behind the building for days that the staff hasn't had time to unload due to a labor shortage. Although I wouldn't consider shopping here again after making repeated wasted trips, I decided to recommend to my brother's son that he apply here as a first job since Staples has such a problem finding anyone to work for them and I am glad, in a manner, that I made that recommendation since it wound up shedding some light on why they can never seem to fill positions there. My nephew went through a lengthy process including an application, personality assessment, and interview. The manager there promised him a job and reminded him to complete any unfinished steps in the application process or he wouldn't be able to proceed to the next step. Interestingly, he had asked this guy what the pay rate would be for the job and the guy, who claimed to have worked there for 17 years, pretended not to know off the top of his head what the pay rate was. At this point, the manager PRETENDED to check his phone to find out the current rate and ultimately gave my nephew a low-ball offer, claiming the offer was on the high end. He reluctantly agreed to the 13 dollar rate but wound up not getting the job anyway because he never heard from this manager again; at least not for two full weeks. At that point, he got an E-Mail accusing him of not completing the application process, which was an untrue accusation. After uncovering some details of his difficulties, I realized that this was a matter for the EEOC. I don't want to give away anything that might enable them to fix the problem because I really don't care if they go out of business due to a labor shortage, but I will say that my nephew's rights and the rights of others are being violated. read more

Always great customer service and a nice selection of anything you need, be it from a business perspective or residential. I'm a bit of a freak when it comes to organization, so I pretty much go into a feeding frenzy when I'm here and circle the isles like a shark...preying on anything that may make my life more efficiently organized. Label makers, cabinets, file drawers...all good stuff. Staples also offers different pieces of furniture. Mostly desks and desk chairs. This is a great place to shop right before you go away to college. You'll find everything you need here. read more

Not too sure about the actual office supplies but they do have convenient printing and copying system! You can use your credit cards or one of staples printing cards to easily print from your email, usb, etc. they also have computer where you can directly print something from internet or from your email but it does cost a lot. For every minute, they charge 30cents and for black and white print, they charge 49cents per page. If you save your documents in usb, it is much cheaper and faster! I also like how they have staplers and rulers ready for you to use after you copy or print something. They do have about 5machines, so you usually dont have to wait. read more

This location is small and a bit of a mess but navigatable (I know that isn't a word, but it's going to be in this review). I went school supply shopping with my son and the employees were stocking the shelves at 4:30 pm so there were storage boxes everywhere, stuff on the floor (trip hazard anyone?) and the school supplies were all over the place (by August, most stores have them in one section-get it together Staples). There was only one cashier and her calls for backup were ignored 2 times. Poor girl; she was clearly frustrated. After backup came, and I lost an argument about a stapler being on sale (my kid already pointed out the irony), we left and went to Target. 2/5 for Staples. I ended up returning quite a few things because Target up the road beat them on prices. I probably won't visit this Staples location again. read more

Usually go here to print projects out in color but it NEVER comes out as expected. Went to staples this morning to print something out in color and the colors did not show up correctly, so i asked a woman at the print center and she told me that there was nothing she could do and "maybe try Kinkos or something". Maybe do a re-print for me because i paid for it??? But thanks, ill take my business elsewhere that'll actually get my printing right from now on. read more

I used Staples.com to do the "quick" business card in-store pick up. The website claimed it would take 2 hours and would be an efficient option for those who need business cards right away. Two hours after placing my order I called, and a woman at the copy center told me there were 6 orders ahead of me and my business cards weren't ready yet. I asked when they would be and she replied curtly that Staples would call and let me know. 28 hours later, no phone call - so I had to call myself and sure enough my order was ready. Staples, why even have a "same day" pickup option when nothing about this process was timely or efficient? To top it off, when I walked in to pick up my cards there were a bunch of stupid teens working. My Dad asked if Staples had money orders (USPS sign outside) and the kid just looked at him blankly and said "idk what that is" Please refrain from visiting this location full of idiots. read more

Just had a really great experience at this staples copy center. I arrived shortly after 5 during rush hour holiday traffic and the store was pretty busy. I needed a 5 page color document printed in a nonstandard size. Jeff in the copy center promptly greeted me as he multi-tasked through countless phone calls and other rush hour in store traffic. Through all of this, I had a major mistake in the PDF file I asked him to print - he said no problem and said to save time, while I was home fixing the file I could email it to him and it would be printed out and ready when I returned. As soon as I returned home and emailed the file just a second later I received a confirmation email that the file was printed and waiting for me! What great service! I knew they were busy and they still pushed my job through even though I had to be driving them crazy with my minor 5 page school art project. Jeff was polite, professional and next time I need copies of anything I will be back. Highly, highly recommend. read more

Aside from being messy and unorganized, I had a poor experience with the copy/service center. I called ahead to check closing time and came to the store at 8:40pm to get two posters my students made laminated. I'm pretty sure the employee was already resigned to not help me, but she hardly looked at the posters and said they wouldn't fit in the laminating machine. I asked her to check to see if the smaller poster would fit and she said "It will fit, but it takes 15 minutes to warm up and we close in 15 minutes." Other employees looked on as I grabbed my posters and left. I was unimpressed with the poor attitude and unwillingness to help a customer. Won't be returning to this staples, and based on other experiences with this chain in other locations, don't plan on using it for my teacher needs again. read more

First off, I just have to say my experience was POLAR OPPOSITE of N A's, I have been shopping between the Souderton store and this one for about 5 years and it this store by far has become my go to for school supplies. I needed a poster lamented for my science project and within 2 hours my job was finished, even with many customers around me, now granted I have had times where I've had to wait a bit longer, but only due to the fact there were many customers ahead of me during and it's usually during holidays (which if you're expecting to get 1000 Christmas cards made for your office with 10 people ahead of you for cards around Christmas you're a lunatic, PEOPLE work here, not robots) but all and all, the, "teens" who work here have actually helped me and my grandmother (I'm not very computer savy) both get PC's that were so cheap, I couldn't believe it, if you hate young people, this store isn't for you as it is run mostly by teenagers, but for the most part a lot of them seem to know what their doing, so that was good enough for me! read more

This place is awful. All they care about is service plans and extended warranties. They just put up a fake front by greeting you. They constantly follow you around asking if you need help when your just browsing. One manager even told me that this isnt a "hang out" just find the product you need and leave. Horrible store and management. I saw one poor sap walk in for a poster board and walked out spending 2 grand in supplies and services he didn't need. I saw the salesman (if you want to call him that) hi five the manager after he left because of the sales he made. Are you sure your not on commission guys? Do not shop here they just want to rip you off. read more
