Ordered printing job for 1st birthday party invitations. Pick up on 9/21/23 at approx 4 pm: Half the invites had the bottom line cut off. Male employee in printing section says "nothing we can do, can't control how they're cut, people don't understand the program margins". Pointed out the program has very easy interface with distinct printable area and that half somehow printed appropriately and his response " well I didn't make the program". Informed him that I didn't need to be told that he is not the program designer and found his response to be condescending and disrespectful. Shrugs and says "okay". If employee showed least bit of decorum, I would have asked for a reprint. Instead, full refund and job goes elsewhere. Staples.... is this the standard? read more

we had an uncomfortable experience with a Staples salesperson earlier in the week pushing very hard for us to purchase extended warrantee on a printer/scanner. he barely cared what printer he recommended and was focused on the warrantee prior to discussing any printers. We did not purchase the warrantee and the Epson printer did not work when we brought it home to set up. he had the nerve to tell me that i should have purchased the warrantee!! i told him "you recommended this printer and it did not work for 1 day so luckily we returned it on day 2. We went back to Staples and were lucky enough to encounter Vanessa who helped us get a refund, then walked us back and helped us buy a new printer with no pressure, she was so customer focused and really cared. her shift ended while she was helping us and she stayed to complete the work. thanks so much Vanessa, you restored our confidence in Staples. read more

Do NOT get your phone repaired here. I had a minor crack in an iPhone 7 [nothing that interfered with usability, only aesthetic] they took three times as long to fix it as they said, then rendered the phone unusable - dead spots on the screen, incorrect touch screen response. So i went back. worse. So i went back. Now the entire bottom of the screen jitters, and the phone is unusable. They will not refund any money and refuse to offer any other solutions than shrugging shoulders and looking at me blankly. I wound up buying a new phone. two months later i am still upset with these incompetents. read more

The manager at this store is terrible. I had bought a laptop for $240 for my father who was in hospital but he never got to use it. I wasn't able to go see him due to COVID and he passed. It was about a week or so past the date to return. I explained what happened and asked him if I could do an exchange for a printer around the same price. He acted like he was gonna do me a huge favor and then came out with a printer (didn't give me a choice) that was way more expensive than what I needed. I wound up paying $100 extra! And he forced me to get the protection plan- just put it on there without even asking! I was stuck so I just did it. Two days later the printer broke! I spent hours on the phone with tech to no avail. This guy is a creep. He said he'd 'work it out' and 'crunch some numbers'. He took advantage of a sad situation during a pandemic! I gave the 1 star for the girl at the printing desk- she was very nice when I had to GO BACK after it broke to print out a copy of my father's will. Real nice Staples. read more

Came in to buy some supplies. Was attended but a kid with glasses, tan, tall. I must say he was excellent and probably one of the best there. I haven't seen him there recently hope he didn't get fired. I needed help with copying but the guy in the blue shirt seemed too busy minding his own business to help me, but I can't blame him. Overall not bad service but could use some more enthusiastic employees. read more

Dont believe any of the haters this staples is great with their customer service department. The calls are answered in a prompt and professional manner. This staples is soups to nuts bar none THE best office supply place in Mt. Kisco. I was in last night and had to get my ink cartrige unjammed with my sister and Abel at the Computer section was so accomodating and professional and didn't charge us for getting the cartridge unjammed Abel was curteous and friendly, give this guy a raise staples. Ok so I went in to get something laminated. Never had anything laminated before here so I was kind of winging it. I had a few pieces of paper that were rectangular instead of the standard copy paper. She laminated them but the cutting machine was broken so she told me how to do it with scissors so that it wouldn't pull apart. She then said she was going to try and fix the cutting machine and she did. The only thing was she proceeded to do what she told me not to and by the time I got home my papers were already pulling apart! SO UPSET! I've had overall great experience with this staples but this was just UGH! Next time I will just cut it myself! read more

I hate to do this,especially since customer service here is typically overwhelming, however I just experienced possibly the rudest encounter with a sales associate ever. After standing there waiting for help for some time, I tried to get the attention of the worker standing 10 ft away from me. After being ignored, I said "excuse me" again. His response was "can you wait until I'm done with this customer". Rather than saying a simple "yes, one minute" he responded in such a rude tone - you would have thought I was demanding attention immediately.
