After stuffing myself silly at the Olive Garden, I spotted this Staples in the same plaza and drove over. There's plenty of parking in front of the store. I parked and walked in. This store has what you'd expect. I planted myself in the cell phone accessories section and looked at everything. The selection is great. I was then testing out stick pens that were exceptionally comfortable when you write. I liked the giant notepads where you can doodle. I then moved on to erasable pen ink where the claim is that you don't get eraser bits. I tested the pen out. Yep, the claim was valid. There were PopSockets on sale. You buy three and your fourth is free. Luckily, I couldn't find four that I liked. Saving money is great! Staff here were chatty amongst themselves. I wished the woman at the checkout a good day. For starters, the workers are completely unhelpful and rude, there's two specific men i'm talking about, didn't catch their names but is two plus sized men who were so rude, did not help with anything i asked for, and even complained to me about a customer that was in front of me once she left, calling her names. the worst of all, this man has absolutely no sense of hygiene, i don't know how he's not been talked to about his smell, it lingers the entire store, right when you walk in the smell of must and sweat just hits you right in the face, it's absolutely disgusting, this store gets 0 stars and management needs to think about hiring new employees read more

This Staples location right off of 394 and closer to the suburbs of Minnetonka and Hopkins serves as a good go to place for all office supply needs. The shop has neat placement of their items and that helps seamless browsing through the shop to get to your needs. Watch out for the top banners to identify which areas serve what. The store has great collection of pens and sketches and will be a great way of getting the kids occupied at the store. They also have a printing area to cater to your printing needs and offer printing at nominal prices. I've always liked their wide variety of printers and printing inks and all other computer related accessories. The staff are super friendly and they are always a holler away to attend to your questions and concerns. The checkout process is also quite quick. read more

Ordered business cards for a hiring event on Tuesday morning. The confirmation email says "will be ready by 7:30PM tonight". I go ahead and stop in to pick them up at 11:00am the following morning. They are not done, the guys who does them isn't even in. Waste of my time. Services like quick printing and good customer service are the only thing that Amazon cannot replicate or do better. Why wouldn't you put all your wood behind those arrows and try to do a good job? I hope Amazon puts them out of business. read more

I must admit, it's been years since I've been to a Staples... I needed some items printed that my in-home printer couldn't handle, so I placed an online order. The ordering process was very simple, and the items were ready hours before the original pick-up time. The quality of the items were great. The person helping me was friendly and quick, which made the experience very enjoyable. I was surprised to see all different items they can print! For a reasonable price, they'll print posters, invites, business cards, and more. read more

My favorite office supply super store! Wow, definitely can't compare to Office Depot and Office Max! So much more selections, better quality and quantity of office supplies. Today I went to buy a magnifying glass...a BIG one for my mom. I remembered using something like that at work, and thought where our office got our supplies from...and it was Staples! I went in today and found the one I wanted. Actually better, since this magnifying glass has a special button for light! Stopped in to grab a couple things wearing a sweatshirt advertising a restaurant I previously worked at. The cashier asked numerous times if I worked there. I explained I used to but don't anymore. He continued by asking why I no longer work there to which I explained I have my own business now. He proceeded to ask me again why I no longer work there and asked if I was fired. Excuse me? It could be just this particular location, but it just seems to be a very average experience & service. Nothing bad, but nothing outstanding either. I keep learning the hard way that they close moments before I want to be there ;-) I went a little after 8pm, thinking they closed at 9 on a weeknight (surrounding stores near this site all close at 9pm). I came in to look for some classy magazine holders, electrical outlet strips, & desk caddies, but darnit, there either wasn't anything OR just not what I'm looking for. COMPLETELY fine, as we all have different preferences, but whenever I've stepped foot in there, I can't find what I'm looking for & there isn't any kind of friendly or outgoing service (again, not required BUT I went to OfficeMax down the road right after & had a fantastic experience service and product-wise that left a memorable impression on me). To one employee's credit, as I was heading for the exit, she did ask if I found everything okay. I told her that I unfortunately couldn't find anything on my purchase list. She said they could look for more selection on their kiosk. I just said that I could just go check online (if she asked me much earlier (there were only 2-3 other shoppers in the store), I may have been game, but the timing was when I gave up & wanted to leave. read more

The few times i've been in this Staples the staff has always been super accommodating. Convenient location off of the 394 - - i just wish there were MORE Staples in Minnesota though. Went to the Wayzata store for some printable labels, bought the Avery product recommended by the sales person, easy enough. Went home printed up 2 pages immediately noticed the smudging of the ink, hung the page in front of a fan hoping they'd dry so I could get to work, next day still smudging. Went back to Staples looking for help the customer service person blamed my printer then asked to see my receipt to prove I had bought them at that store, (now I'm getting pissed) I told sales person, "just show me the right labels" he could not. I left the store and phoned back asking to speak to manager, was told he was not available, called back 15 minutes later and spoke to store Manager, discussed problem. The solution we came to was for me to return to the store at 9am the next day to sort the problem. Arrived at 9:05 am, the store doesn't open till 10. Ordered the chair on Black Friday. Still did not have it 12-17, Staples made every excuse in the book when I ask. Never updated me, When they finally did it was obvious they had not read my question or the existing email thread, as they used the same boilerplate script from the last email. for almost 3 weeks they blamed Fed-ex for not delivering the chair but offered no other solution that waits. read more

My experience at this store ranks up there with the worst customer service of my life. The department manager in toners promised that we would be able to return a toner if it didn't work, but when we went to return it we were first told no, then told store credit only. So, first they lied to me, then they insinuated I was lying when the store manager, Scott, told me he trusted his employees story that he hadn't told us we could return it if it didn't work. read more
