these guys are some incredibly incompetent and dishonest individuals !…read more I brought my Gen2 12.9" iPad for a new charging port and a new battery ...after the "Phone clowns" had my tablet for two weeks I get a call that told me my tablet was waiting at their office for pickup, they also mentioned they had replaced the charge port and battery but had to remove it because it still wasn't working , they then gave me full refund . This is where lie #1 came into play. They said they replaced the charge port but they did no such thing ....... when I returned him I plugged the charger and to no avail, I still had to put pressure on the charger so it would make contact and actually charge the tablet ! My point is If they actually put a new charge port in I would no longer need to fiddle around with the plug to make it work, I'm sure they wouldn't have pulled the new charge port after realizing the tablet wouldn't start . There are other details that transpired but I don't have the time to write a dissertation on this company, I'm only here to warn others to steer clear of these people ! After researching this tablet I find out that it takes a trained and seasoned tech to change the charge port , the newer charge ports are an easy swap but the Gen 2 needs a micro solder and an incredibly stable hand. The pads are very close and there is zero room for mistakes. My guess Is the tech took the tablet apart and realized he couldn't do the job , he put the tablet together (leaving glue EVERYWHERE and not even bothering to clean it up after he/she finished ..... bottom line is these guys cannot be trusted.

Extremely disappointing. After buying several phones from TPG over 4 years I purchased a phone…read morewhich he told me would work for Verizon Network through Visible, it does not.. Also, the phone is junk. It shuts off constantly. Cannot make calls without repeated restarts. And the screen broke during Sim card installation. I called immediately and was told to bring it in. When I did I was told to do better research before buying and the store took no responsibility at all for any of the phones problems. This phone was beat up with damage all around the edge of the phone body. The stores refusal to offer any solution at all is not just very poor customer relations but dishonest. Considering small claims court. What a farce.

However, they proved me wrong. Good communication by setting expectations with how long it would take and possibility of data wipe. The "district manager" Sebastian G then just lies to me and tells me my only 2 options are to come back the next day for the phone or pay out of pocket (upon calling asurion later he was supposed to tell me to call them to have the IMEI number fixed on their end, but it was close to their closing time and he did not want to stay late). So with no other option as I cannot leave my phone (literally dont know how to get home without it as I drove over 40 minutes to get here) I am strong armed into paying out of pocket. Now after weeks of run around with their parent insurance company assurion they found a solution where another claim could ve submitted which they would be reimbursed for and then I could be refunded as they would have essentially be paid. To this the "district manager" Sebastion said no because it would make a lot of paper work for him and apparently he was just too lazy to do extra work for a mistake his employee made (according to asurion they are not to do any work on a phone if the imei number doesnt match the one that is on the claim). So at the end of the day, 2 mistakes made by the company and no responsibility shown by the "district manager" Sebastian. At this point both them and Asurion are completely washing their hands of it and leaving me out the full amount of $491, which is ridiculous price to charge for a screen repair of a 5 year old phone but that is besides the point. The 2 receipts pictured will show that my correct IMEI number is on the receipt *after* I pay out of pocket (interesting how their system reads it right once I pay but not during the claim processs). Avoid at all costs and cancel your insurance with asurion, paid into it for over 5 years with no claims and when it finally comes time to pay out they find a way not to. Sebastian also lied when the work order was created to try and deny the time I dropped off (he claimed it was 4) but as you see on the receipt the work order was created at 11:46 am so it took them over 4 hours to *not* fix my phone. To further everything after finally having the insurance company get directly in contact with the store Sebastian lied about the events that transpired. Do not use Asurion and U break I fix, they are not consumer friendly and will not assist you in errors caused by either their own internal website or errors directly caused by their staff. imgur link to the photos since cant add them on yelp https://imgur.com/a/dfELhpE

When I walked in, the person at the counter measured/weighted my package but quoted me over $10 more than USPS for the same ground shipping. When I said "wow, why so much?", he replied back with "It would be the same at the post office" which is not the case because I just returned from the post office. And they also won't tell you that USPS' flat rate shipping boxes are cheaper than what they quoted me. I told him, I'll just take it back to the post office during normal business hours. When I returned home and I told my wife about this experience, she said warned me about this place as they tried charge her $1 to print a label for prepaid postage. I understand small businesses need to make some profit in order to stay in business but marking up 30% to 40% more than post office is probably not a good business strategy knowing USPS is one block away and UPS is just across the lot inside Staples. As much as I would like to support small businesses, I won't be coming back here again. Lesson learned.
