We have used the computer service in Store #1843, located 3500 Posner Blvd, Davenport, FL 33837 more than 10 years and never have any issue with all our computers. Today we were impressed by the computer team Chris, Michael and Luis because we not only had a very professional recommendation about the model of a new computer and software , not only getting a great discount but how this team solved a really complicated issue with a large file. I came in this evening to make some copies, sign them, then send them off. The lady who was working in that area (not wearing a name tag) but claimed her name was JESS, could not have been less helpful if she tried! She did everything in her power to avoid doing her job and when she wasn't hiding or playing on her phone she was being condescending and talking down to not only myself but to every customer that came into the printing area. I've been shopping at Staples for over 25x years and I've never been treated this was at any store by any team member. Staples should take a long hard look at this employee because she is not doing the Davenport store any favors with her rude and condescending behavior! read more

We needed to have a book spiral bound so we took it to Staples in Posner Park. When we arrived we were the only customers in the store and was waited on quickly. We was given a price quote for the job from a young lady. She told us it would be finished at 4 o'clock. We explained that we needed it then so we paid $2 more for immediate service. She started this 10 min. job. It took her over 30 min. to complete the job because she was eating her breakfast and touching our job in the meantime. Another employee came in during this time and looked over the job. The pages was out of order so they had to go through and put all of the pages back in order and also she miscut the pages and the book looked like crap and this was a birthday present. We were not charged for the job but now have a gift that looks likes like a child did it. read more

Establishment has lots of great prices on back to school supplies. Some of these items are on sale making it such a great bargain. Once school actually starts more sale items. Currently the main aisle is focused on school supplies. Back packs are a little pricey. This store is under construction giving it a new modern look. read more

I ordered an office chair (more than $400) for my Son; he is particular and has a specific brand and style that he likes. I ordered it for 1 hour pick-up, paid via PayPal and the next day I received an email stating the order had been cancelled and that I needed to call the customer service number. I called and they couldn't figure out the precise reason that the order was cancelled, but confirmed that it was cancelled (even though there was a pending charge in my account). So I reordered the chair and paid for it in full with my debit card, for 1 hour pick-up. I received an email that I would receive an email when it was ready for pick-up. Instead, I received an email the next morning, stating that the order was On Hold and I needed to call. I called and apparently the reason for the hold was that I had entered an alternate person to pick up the chair when I placed the order (although there was a spot to do so during the ordering process) and that my billing address didn't match the city/state in which the chair was to be picked up. I explained (although I shouldn't have to, as I could be purchasing it as a gift for someone), that we had moved from the one state to another just a couple of days ago, hence the reason for the different locations. So she said she would finalize the order. I waited over 2 hours and still didn't receive a notice that the chair was ready, so I called the actual Staples location where we would be picking up the chair to see if it was ready, since it was ordered for 1 hour pick-up a day ago. She said that they were running slightly behind with order fulfillment, and that it wasn't ready yet, so I would receive an email when it is ready. More than an hour later, still no email. Terrible customer service and I would not order anything further from Staples, unless they are the only store that carries an item and the item is absolutely the only choice. read more

Staples is located near Target in Posner Park. It has everything you could possibly want for your office from paper to lysol, but at fairly high prices. If you need a specialty office good that they wouldn't have at Walmart or Target, then this is your place. Pick a color of paper or card stock and they have it. Need a strange envelope size? Then this is your store. Their printing area does a really nice job. I've had them print return address labels, shower invitations, and a few things for work. They've always been on time and nicely done. Conveniently there is also a UPS drop off inside the store which is really handy. Despite their high prices if you sign up for rewards they will send you some pretty sweet coupons. I've gotten several $10 off $10 coupons and those can be awesome. That being said it has to be off "regular" price items which can be surprisingly hard to find. Overall though the place is pretty pricey and you could get many of the items here for 25% less at Target or Walmart. The deals are at the front of the store, but things like plain copy paper are so expensive here that even on special they aren't necessarily as cheap as Walmart. Staples is definitely a more pleasant and easy going shopping experience than either of those locations, but how much are you willing to pay for convenience? read more

I do not spend a lot of time in this area of town, it was coincidence I even stopped here. I had seen Doctor Strange in a nearby theatre and remembered I needed paper clips. When I walked inside, it was very clean and organized. I think all and all I spent about five minutes in the store. The part which took me the longest was the line to pay. There was only one person at check out and about four or five waiting in line. The team member was nice enough. I would come here if I was in the area. read more

This place never answers their phone. I tried calling for two days straight to find out if they do shredding, and never got a human being on the phone. Just elevator music. When we finally went in to the store, the line was long with six people in front of us and two guys waiting on the same person for 20 minutes. No one seemed concerned that people were getting mad waiting so long. read more

Shopping here is very convenient, very laid back, chill place to buy school supplies. When you arrive, parking is very convenient. I will always come back here. I love shopping where you don't have to worry where to park, and specially you don't need to worry about long lines in the cashier. read more

I only needed to print out 2 copies when I went there and although I understand stores get busy, it took ~ 20 minutes for me to be attended to, even though I was the first person in line. Everyone who walked in to pick up stuff was attended to immediately and I had to wait for someone else to come. It then took that person maybe 30 seconds to print the 2 pieces of paper that I needed. The assistant manager was at a cash register using his phone while the line was getting longer and longer at the copy center. Not a great service and I would not recommend it to anyone. read more

Honestly, I had a great experience at Staples Posner Blvd. As I am new in Davenport... I have always heard that their prices are very high and bad service. But I needed business cards for the next day. So I called and spoke to Michael, the manager, who was very kind and professional. Then I drove to their store... The team was helpful, smiley and courteous: Debbie, Jalen and especially Michael. He was very knowledgeable with great customer service skills and very patient as I had to change my design a few times before printing. I think he needs a promotion :)... They were all doing their very best to not let us, customers, wait. And the business cards were extremely affordable. Cheaper than Vistaprint where I usually print cards. My mother and I were shopping for some office supplies and were convinced to apply the Liquid Armor in place of our tempered glass screen protectors. The sales associate that sold us them and applied them did NOT mention that it was not impact resistant and there fore not any better than our tempered glass screen protectors, but DID say that it was better than our screen protectors. Less than a month later, I drop my phone on a smooth side walk face down and picked it up to my shock that my phone is shattered. When I went into staples to ask for help and what to do, I was given no more than "Sorry, you're suck outta luck." I am so angry with this product and I am angry that this Staples is selling them without mentioning the fine details. read more

I waited in the copy/print desk for 20 minutes to retrieve important documents (the self service printer was not working) and the two employees had zero sense of urgency, and pretended as if no one was standing in line, I didn't even get a "we'll be right with you" or apology for the delay. One employee walked away smugly (without acknowledging me in line or the other people behind me) to talk to another employee about his night out, please don't come here if you have limited time or want customer service. read more

I didn't buy a lot from the Staples before and choose to give a try this time because of its convenient location and competitive price on IPad Air. I never thought this would be a risky move for the nation wide reputation of this office supplies store. Oh, what a mistake I made! I made an store pick-up order on 11/20/2014 and received an email on 11/22/2014 saying that the IPad is ready to pick up and will be hold until 11/25/25. Guess what happened when I went to the store on 11/23/2014? It was sold! Yes, you heard me right. An reserved item ready for pick up is sold before the pick up and the whole has only an open-box one left! What kind of business can do something like this? It does not keep its word and respect its customer. What's more disappointing is the response from the manager and the sales person. The sales person first offered me to take the open-box IPad if I really need to pick up today. Seriously? I paid the price for a brand new IPad, not something that's been used and returned. Then I indicated that I was not satisfied with being treating like this as a valued customer but was only offered to drive 20 miles to another Staples store and tried my luck there. The manager of the store nevered showed up and apologized for their mistakes, making me feel like I am such an insignificant individual who does not worth his time. However, if Staples treats every one of their customers like this, offering much better customer services. Anyway, I will ask my family and my friends not to go to Staples any more. read more

I went to the store to purchase an office chair. I had a young gentleman called Louis to assist me with the purchased... He was great and so sweet... I was trying to make up my mind on which chair would be the most comfortable for sitting in for at least eight to ten hours a day. I chose a chair that I really want it but they didn't have it in stock in any store there or anywhere around the area. There was one floor model that was pretty used and looked a little worn I asked to see if they can discount the chair and Louis was very understanding and was trying to help me as much as he could he spoke to his manager Michael Gut to see about the discount on the chair. Michael Gut was rude and obnoxious and didn't want to help to assist to make the purchase. I bought another chair just to get out of the store I will never be shopping there again as I don't like to be treated as a nuisance and trash. On 1/27/2016 I walked into Staples located at 3500 Posner Blvd, Davenport, FL 33837 and was very displeased with this sores service. I asked for an item that was on the shelf but a note stared I had to ask as associate for the item up front. I was told it was in the back and had to wait for it by an older woman who was very rude. I was later told the item was still on the truck and I had to wait for them to unload it the next day, again the associate was very rude and unfriendly. On 1/28/2016 I order the item to be delivered at 3500 Posner Blvd, Davenport, FL 33837 I called an hour ago to find out when I could pick up my item (I called 8 times before someone answered the phone) I was then put on hole 6 times! Each time someone asked for my name. Finally I spoke to a lady name Sherri 35 minutes later who was very obnoxious and rude and told me my item (amazon fire stick) was not there.
