Brought a document in on Saturday to be copied and laminated. I was given a receipt to pick up order on Monday. I got there on Monday and guess what..lost my document and order. 12/16/25 2:30pm Long line at the production/print center, long line at customer service, long line at the "party center" long line at the registers. And I cannot even help myself, because there's no working printer connected. (This is a business that sells and stocks printers) And only 1 out of 3 self service computers are functional. The associates are doing their best it seems but there's a management & maintenance issue at hand. Do better, Staples of Clifton commons. read more

Staples - Today is 12/16/25. This is unacceptable. They sell and stock printers in the store. - Printing Services Near Me - Clifton, New Jersey

Staples - Line behind me after 40 mins and I'm still not next to be serviced! - Printing Services Near Me - Clifton, New Jersey

I actually came into this store back in 2021 to get something laminated in "Print and Marketing" and I haven't gone back since, at the time I didn't leave a review, but decided to leave a review now cause I remember the store's layout and want to get more customers into the store itself, all I know was that the last time I was there everything was nice, cleaned and organized, and where it should be, nothing was out of place, I also liked how bright and inviting it was, it's not a dull store when you enter, above all, I do recommend this store for whoever wants to go shopping for office and school supplies... read more

Terrible service, I was transferred to different departments within the building as if there's not only 2 people working. A huge line while the girls are dancing to Christmas music inside the copy & print shop read more

I was at the Clifton location this morning between 11:00 and 12:00 to process three UPS returns I was a little overwhelmed this morning and the young lady that was there was fantastic! She has great customer service I also spoke with her co-worker,a young man they're wonderful keep up the good work! read more

One register opened at 2:30 during the day. The line wrapped around, all I had to do was an Amazon return. Which use to be done at the ups counter as well. The cashier at the ups counter was rude and dismissive, stating they do it at the other line. If they can't handle the influx from returns and their own store then they should cut it off. One cashier for over 25 customers in line. Last time I come here. read more

Buyer beware.... I have been getting a delivery of Poland Springs seltzer water for a few months now. 3 Cases every 5-6 weeks and paying about 50.00 a month. Today, I see the price went up without any kind of warning. It didn't go up a dollar or two... it literally tripled in price!! One case, 24 bottles is now 47.00 and change!!! What kind of company does this?? I cancelled my auto ship and will never shop here again! read more

Simple when you know what you want. I'm big on doing research then making sure it's there in stock. Printing services is great. Friendly girl at the desk helped me very quick with my order. I used the printing service online and they emailed me when my order was ready. Picked up and on my way. Haven't used the floor help yet since I knew what I wanted anyways. read more

I recently visited the Print Center at this store. I had purchased a counted cross stitch download on Etsy and was having difficulty printing it at home. I was helped by Rayna (sp?) and she was competent, polite and incredibly patient with me and my questions. She thoroughly explained her answers to my questions. She provided me with cost alternatives and at checkout had a discount code for me to apply. She acted genuinely interested in my project, which gave the experience a personal touch. There was no wait, the area was clean and tidy, and the hours and parking were convenient. read more

Nothing ever works properly in the store and the workers treat the customer as if issue is with them. This is the second time I have been a this location to print and the service has been poor. The first time I needed Avery labels printed as I do often and the lady told me that that she couldn't do it and I would need to come back the next day in the morning. Today I went and the self service printer was not working properly and the lady did not help me just told me to use another one that was spinning for 10 mins. Do not come here if you are in a rush. read more

Convenience, I love it. This Staples is located in the Clifton Commons. Its very easy to get to and has a ton of parking at all times. The prices are slightly high but the layout can be confusing. Aisle labels are somewhat generic. All I wanted was some compressed air (damn you laptop!!) and I had to ask a couple people to find what I was looking for. read more

The store is always clean. The associates are always friendly & helpful. Unlike the other reviewer, I definitely don't think the layout is confusing. And the aisle labels are generic? I don't agree with that statement either. Their prices are comparable to other office supply stores. And their items are high quality. read more

Employees here are unlike any other staples' employees I've seen. Really unprofessional and disrespectful. Clearly customer service is not important to the employees here. What is important here? Laziness and poor attitudes. Will definitely not be returning. read more

I have not seen this location extremely which is nice. They have a great variety and the service is friendly.

I rarely ever need print services Today I needed it My son is a Graduate Student who was suppose to Graduate from Seton Hall University because of COVID the graduation isn't taking place this month. But I wanted to acknowledge my son's achievement. So I thought lawn sign for starters. They had generic lawn signs in the store. That said, Honk for the graduate Not to be a nuisance to my neighbors with honkers. I asked a wonderful young woman named Stephanie C is there anyway this sign could be a little customized? Get rid of the Honk? She said sure! So with help from Stephanie C , we printed my sons 1st name and his school put some laminate on it And it wasn't expensive either, the price of the lawn sign and just a few dollars for the print and lamination It looks Grea I am so pleased!!!!! If I ever need anything else printed I just know where to go Way to Go Stephanie C and Staples Kingsland Clifton NJ read more

I have used this store a few times because they are one of the few stores that has printing. Too often the computers and printers are out of order. The staff is always jammed up with one customer for mailing something out. They do not mail to P.O. Boxes and they are not helpful. I can not say anything positive about this store and I only have a few negative reviews. read more

The staff especially in the printing department are always very friendly and helpful. I recently ordered my notary seals from them and they were very helpful and it was a quick n easy way to get my notary renewed. read more

All I needed was 4 things printed on card stock paper. Was told it couldn't be same day. Then spoke to another employee, Jose. He was the rudest most disrespectful person I've ever had to deal with. After saying never mind I'll go somewhere else, magically he was able to do it for me and was literally done in 5 minutes!!!!! What was the issue before exactly? Nothing besides laziness and unwillingness to help. Ok I get it. It's Saturday night, you don't want to be working. Well too bad! Leave your attitude at the door. Horrible customer service read more

So I received a 20% off discounts in the mail for school supplies. I bought ink for the printer and a 10.00 pack of pens for school. I handed the coupon to the cashier and she replied by saying that pens and ink are not considered as school supplies . Are you kidding me? I have a list of supplies from the school and pens are included and the ink is for their summer school projects. read more

Standard Staples. Organized and clean. Staff was sparse but friendly and the Print Shop workers were very helpful. Have Fun read more

Printing Center is slow, rude, and low quality. No thanks

I primarily use this Staples for personal copy & print services. I've been to at least 10 different locations for the same services, but this is the only where I am consistently disappointed. 90% of the time, staff are unable to complete my simple (less than 5 minute) print order while I wait. Today I was careful to come more than 35 minutes before closing, but they were unable to help me, and wouldn't even allow me to do it myself as they had in the past (because of the special paper). It is unfortunate that they are so consistently understaffed. The manager came over and gave me dissatisfying lip service. If you need something done quickly or without waiting on a long line for service, AVOID this location! read more

Friendly and helpful? Hardly. After a recent experience at this Staples, I refuse to shop there. The manager was abusive, the store(and staff) discriminate against the disabled, and they don't care about the health and safety of someone walking into their store. With so many other places around like Office Max, there's really no point in going here. Btw, this is new... and I think has to do a lot with the current manager here. However, since I contacted Staples corporate to complain and they decided not to respond, I guess what I experienced there is now corporate policy. read more

As Staples go the employees are as attentive as any.. They are quick to offer help or assist in any way that can be expected

My experience? Super friendly and proactive staff. Today, for example, one staffer tore the store apart to find the last box of my brand of toner, and another saw my cart with two boxes of paper and pointed out that there was a "buy two get one free" sale, so I could get a third box for free. Now that's service! read more

What I love about Staples is that they go out of their way to provide outstanding customer service. It really is frustrating when you can't go find something and an associate vaguely points to an aisle and tells you it should be there. . The associates at Staples will walk you to the place where your item is located and will stay with you until the item is in your hands. I have bought a printer and a laptop and their tech squad is also fantastic when it comes to explaining and demonstrating how your item works. Aaron in tech support is always very helpful and patient. They sell everything from file cabinets and office furniture to Scotch tape and paperclips. They also have a good Loyalty program and will send you money off coupons towards your next purchase. read more

Absolute BEST experience I've ever had at a Staples. The customer service here is exceptional! We got a really great deal on a desk but it wouldn't fit in our car without dissembling it first. Mathew helped us take apart the entire desk. We are so grateful for his help. Also, the manager on duty was extremely kind and very accommodating ! Definitely going to come to this location any time I need to make a Staples run. read more

Worst copy & print center I've ever been to. There is a lady working there who is just not people friendly, she should be working in the stock room. An engineer print would take them an hour, that's a 15 minutes job at any other staples. Don't waste your time. read more

This was by far the WORST staples I have ever been to. I was trying to return something to Amazon from their UPS store. The one women I had asked for help completely brushed me off and couldn't bother to help me. & the little bit of "help" she did give to me was all wrong. Then the one man who did try to help me was so busy with all the other customers because the main women rather sit on her ass then do her job. I will never go back to that store ever !! Such a waste of time! read more

Chad did an amazing print and binding job for me!!! Super friendly eventhough he was extremely busy!!

I went to go buy a chair. Not a big deal should be cut and dry. I pick out my chair. No price. I walk up to the counter to a manager who is good at barking orders. Tells me to get the guy on the floor. Guy from the floor comes does not know price looks for manager he can't find him. I only need to know is it on stock and how much. Over five minutes and no answer. Finally guy come out does have it in stock and still don't know the price. Worst customer service ever. I still got the chair but damn. read more

We went to Staples in Clifton Commons to buy an office chair. The young man said it was in stock and left to get one. Nearly 20 minutes later, no chair. I finally walk to the rear of the store to find the young man walking around and when I asked about the chair, his response was "We don't have it. Didn't anyone tell you?" No, no one told us and an apology for having us wait would have been appreciated. I give this feedback to the manager since it's his job to ensure proper customer satisfaction and while doing so a cashier who no one was speaking to decides to chime in and say "In all fairness, he told us in our headsets." But no one told us --paying customers. I proceeded to tell her that had someone simply shared that information with us, all would have been ok. She then says "Well, I can't leave the register." Really? Does that make sense? Wouldn't you simply tell a coworker to tell us? Mind you, we were in Staples at 9am this morning. The place was nearly empty. I shop at this Staples regularly and have never had an issue with the employees. However, the ones my husband and I encountered today need to be retrained on customer service or we will being shopping elsewhere. read more

I know it is hardly going to matter to review Staples. However, I walked in and asked if they could scan one page for me. The person I spoke to in the printing department told me they did not know how to use the scanner. She went to talk to someone else. When she got back she said they could not do it. I told her I could show her how to use the scanner, but she refused to do it. She said they had too many orders to do already -- although there was no one waiting in line. I guess she meant pick-up orders, I don't know. She suggested I leave my one page there overnight and pick it up. Meanwhile, the scanner was sitting behind her, not being used by anyone. read more
