Well I had a very interesting encounter with owner today. I paid for my shirt and my pants to be cleaned and press for the same day for an event later on in the day. I go to pick up my clothes and only my shirt is ready and my pants were nowhere to be found. The new lady was rude and made me wait for over 20 minutes with no explanation. I finally ask what is taking so long and she continues to ignore me. I run out of time and I have to send my lady back to the cleaners to get my pants..... the lady still has no idea where my pants are. So the pants that I paid to pressed and clean for same day is no longer available to me ( I demanded that service be free, clearly I did not get what I paid for). I go to put in my shirt on and it is stained (also something that I paid for), so I had to go to my event with a stained shirt and with a different pair of pants. I finally pick my pants up today and I'm told that I'm banned from doing business with them even though I've been business with them for three years now. The lack of accountability in the matter, made me smile at the ban. Ever since they hired this new lady behind the desk their quality has gone down. I was already going to take my business else where. Please make sure that you triple check with them before walking out of the cleaners leaving your stuff with them. If you care about your clothing and how it's treated DO NOT COME HERE!!! This was my third or fourth visit every one prior was a pleasant experience this one not so much. I came home to place my clothes in my closet and was APPALLED at what i uncovered. They ruined the "leather" patch on my Bottega Veneta jeans. Added more stains to my Balenciaga shirt and to top it off added two holes!! When I expressed my concern and desire for a solution SONG told me there's nothing he can do and that the patch is plastic and was bound to peel. He also tried to gaslight me into thinking that he didn't damage them when we BOTH KNOW i handed them over in very great condition. He does not care about our clothes!!! He literally told me he takes care of 200 garments he can't cater to each one. If thats not unprofessionalism at its finest I truly don't know what is. DO NOT COME HERE IF U CARE ABOUT UR CLOTHING. And they will call the cops on you if you disagree with the gaslighting! I wish I could give 0 stars. Truly disgusting service. EW read more

Dropping 2 jackets off at bloomfield cleaners on 10.11.23 I had told the person helping me that there was black marker all over the one jacket and on the other was various other stains and a broken button I requested to be placed. A few days later I received a text message stating that they needed more time. Arriving back on 10.19.23 I found that there is still black stains on the sleeves of one jacket that looked like it had been missed. The other jacket still had all its stains and the broken button....I requested that they send the jackets back and remove the stains & fix the broken button...I left and then returned a week later, today 10.25.23 to find that the black marker had been 99% removed but the other jacket still had almost all the original stains and still had the broken button.. I told the owner Mr. Song Lock Ghwon that I was not paying for the one jacket with stains and a broken button. That I had been in twice one week after the next and the jacket still looked the same from when I dropped it off over 2 weeks ago. Mr. Song Lock Ghwon told me I was going to pay for everything or I was not getting any of my items back....I told Mr. Song Lock Ghwon to keep the stained jacket that is was trash and I was only paying for the one. Mr. Song Lock Ghwon didn't like this and debated me saying "No, i was to pay for everything or get nothing back"...He then said over and over he was going to call the police if I refused to pay for the one dirty jacket with a still broken button...I told Mr. Song Lock Ghwon, I would save him the trouble and I called the police for him....Bottom line I am a customer. This cleaners did a poor, unacceptable job and Mr. Song Lock Ghwon refused to take blame for anything and demanded I pay for a terrible service that Mr. Song Lock Ghwon Provided. The police told me when they arrived that this was a civil matter and I am to pay for both garments or to leave them with the cleaners and to file a complaint and a Small claims with the courts. This place is run and operated by a terrible owner Mr. Song Lock Ghwon with Zero sense of Customer service and zero oversight in cleaning a garment piece entirely and correctly . Its like they only cleaned the jackets in sections and disregarded the rest... BUT this owner Song Lock Ghwon wanted to argue, debate and get the police involved over a 25$ bill that I was more then willing to pay more than half of for the one completed garment..... I don't recommend anyone using Bloomfield Dry Cleaners Owned by Mr. Song Lock Ghwon. They have Zero customer service and zero integrity when taking blame for something that is clearly there fault. read more

I had a great experience with Bloomfield Dry Cleaners. After picking up 3 suits on sale at Macy's with a wedding in 2 days, I came to Song ready to beg to get at least one of them done beforehand. Instead of arguing, Song and his staff eagerly agreed to a one day turnaround without additional fees. Not only that, but they surprised me with free delivery to my house in Lyndhurst swearing that it wasn't an inconvenience and was on their way home to NYC. Can't recommend them more highly! P.S. All 3 suits were hemmed to perfection. read more

I used this place two times to the incident that caused me stop patronizing their establishment. I dropped off a multi colored dress with a white top for cleaning and went after the due date to pick it up. I was told it wasn't ready. Huh! Why not? It was almost a week after the due date. The receptionist had to call the owner who advised that he is coming by ASAP. When she got there she the dress isn't ready as they had to put it together. Whattt?!?!?! These folks took apart my dress to clean the white top that had a small food stain. The dress was literally in pieces and the white top was "pulled" and "stretched" and looked seriously damaged in such a way that it looked nothing like the dress I sent in and will never be again. I was livid!!! Then the owner had the audacity to tell me that she will fix it in a week and it will look new. Yea right! I asked for them to pay me for my dress and the owner had the nerve to ask me for a receipt. Needless to say, I got $50 bucks and never ret 12/09/19: when you knew something was wrong, you should have called me and notify of the bleeding and the next steps. Let me make the decision; not have me come by to pick it up and then see my dress in pieces and looking terrible. It is called proper customer service. read more

I needed a dry cleaners that could also sew and stitch and these guys deliver. Yeah the owner tells bad jokes but some are so bad that you have to laugh. I haven't had a problem with their quality, the location/hours work for me (I live in Newark), parking is ample and there is a decent amount of restaurants that I feel I can multi task. read more

Disappointed to try on a top I had dry cleaned a coupl of months ago to find that my top has been shrunken and also damaged. I've had this top for years and nice had an issue with a cleaner before. It's a dry clean only silk but appears to have been washed or shrunken by some other cleaning method. I won't be using this service provider again. Too expensive to end up with damaged product. Shrinkage means either water got into the machine or the chemicals are imbalanced and not being managed properly. read more

I went there for about a year and there were no problems, quality work done quickly and affordably. Then a few weeks ago there was a problem with a couple of new shirts and a tie, and it all went badly very quickly. I showed him the shirts, which were discolored I spots, and he got very agitated and immediately began denying any responsibility, the shirts were inherently defective. Then I showed him the tie, which had a small tear that had not been there when I gave it to them to clean, and he accused me of having brought it in that way. All he had to do was say he was sorry about this stuff and if he had just refunded me the amount for the cleaning I probably would still be going there. But he had to accuse me of trying to cheat him and deny any responsibility. So avoid this place at all costs read more
