Stanton optical in Boca has horrible customer service. Not only do they not return phone calls ( including the manager) they are not honest about the length of time to make your glasses. I was told 7-10 days. When I called at the 10 day mark they said 10 days really means 2 weeks. I called in 2 weeks and was told their machine was broken. Asked for manager to call me back and requested a refund and neither happened. Had to call bank to dispute charge. I see why they were on groupon... Must really need business. I also requested a copy of my Rx and told their computers were updating and she doesn't have but will fax it...never happened. Very unprofessional read more

Purchased glasses from Stanton Boca Raton in November & after 3 months noticed blotches forming on the one lens. Upon calling Stanton I was only THEN advised that the lens warranty only covers 80% of the replacement & that I was liable for 20% of the full retail price, being $71.40. This restriction on the warranty was NEVER disclosed to me at the time of purchase so BEWARE. I have had issues in the past where the optician replaces the lens without any charge as this is why you pay the warranty, right? Or so you would think, but not with Stanton Optical. Have a little compassion when a Senior walks in and needs his glasses repaired. While your priority is not his glasses and he is not your only customer I realize, try an understand he may not have the capacity anymore to understand your viewpoint. So smile and answer his question for the 87th time and in 5 minutes he will be out of your store and out of your hair. I wanted to get a less expensive backup pair of glasses for the ones I bought at Lenscrafters for $300.00. I have purchased glasses in a variety of places, but none was even close to being as BAD as Stanton Optical. The glasses were not ready as promised, and since there was no Dr there, I had to wait 40 minutes, and then they couldn't find my glasses. The clerk went to check in the lab and still couldn't find them. Finally the Dr. came in and helped them find my glasses.. I wish they hadn't. They were terrible. I got progressive lenses and couldn't see near or far. I guess that must be progressive to them. Not to belabor the point but the entire staff especially the manager, were incompetent and clueless. They maintained that I could indeed see very well and, finally, when I showed thema pair of glasses bought at Lenscrafters, they said "Oh those are digital progressives.You can see much better out of those." After a half hour of this nonsense I finally got my money back and went back to Lenscrafters. They looked at the glasses they had sold me three months before and told me that they were not digital at all but analog. The only problem with Lenscrafters is that they are super expensive. I finally sent my prescription to Zenni Optical on-line and for $69.00 I got a great pair of progressives in a snazzy frame with grey tint. After seeing their commercials on TV for months I decided to give them a shot. A very personable woman named Amber took my call and managed to book me an appointment for that afternoon. I was seen and tested at the appointed hour, then invited to take a look at frame choices. Their TV promo advertises "2 pair for $69 plus a free eye exam" and once in their office I was further advised that another option was "buy one get one free". The selection offered @ 2 for $69 was less than exciting; looked more like frames that were produced in the 80s; none of them suited me. Moving on to another section I found frames that looked better and chose two of them. Was a little disappointed to discover that while each frame was $69, there was an additional charge for grinding the lenses. I paid $188, instead of the $69 + tax I was expecting to pay, but the customer service provided compensated. Amber offered multiple choices, and, as is the custom of any salesperson worth his or her salt tried to upsell. I declined, she took it in stride, we engaged in pleasant conversation and I was in and out of there in less than 90 minutes. Was told that my lenses would be ready in a week or so. To my plesant surprise, I got a call this morning and they've managed to turn the order in less than 3 days! Good work. The staff and service are excellent, however, the eye exam is only free if you purchase glasses/contacts, which I get, although advertising is misleading. Another misleading part is the 2 for $69. There are thousands of frames in the store, but only about 2 dozen are $69 and ALL of the $69 frames are dreadful throwbacks of the ugliest 1970s frames. read more

Horrible!! I should have read some reviews before taking my kids here. I got a call that my son's glasses were ready on Aug. 15th. So after he got home from school we went to pick them up. We got there and we were told there was no one available to adjust them, it was his day off. I ask then why did I get a call that they were ready to be picked up? It's automated is what she said. My son need his glasses so we took them home with us. I asked when someone would be there to adjust them and she said 11-5 everyday, but Thursdays and Sundays. So with his school schedule we had to wait until Saturday. I decided to schedule myself an appointment on Saturday instead of wasting yet another trip. I scheduled my appointment online for Saturday Aug.17th at 11:45am. We get there and there was no one at the desk to check me in. I stood and waited and finally someone comes over to desk. I told her I have an appointment. She looks it up and then tells me the doctor is leaving for lunch in 5 minutes and I would need to reschedule. What?? I said I have an appointment and you are not going to honor it? She told me the next available appointment was at 1:15pm after the doctor gets back from lunch. After a few words I walked away and found the guy to adjust my son's glasses. Doug was very nice and professional. He was able to adjust my son's glasses. Where do I begin? When I walked in the door, everyone was very helpful. I was immediately greeted and offered an eye exam. My husband "toured" the store as they called it while I had a very through exam with a doctor who was very educated and talkative. I was sent to Stanton by my sister who saw a Dr. Jenny. She boasted on and on about this woman. So I went to see for myself. I did not have the pleasure of meeting her but apparently they got a much better doctor. According to my sister, Dr. Jenny was the best. I do not think it was very professional for the blonde sales associate to tell us that they have a much better doctor on staff. Who does that? I was referred because of how great this doctor was! Anyway, I finished my exam and was checked out by two female technicians (Ashely and Dominick). I was then escorted to my husband. To my surprise, we were re-introduced to the blonde woman. I cannot remember her name. She was the "Sale manager". If she was not so busy talking to another client about her engagement or her Mary Kay make up, maybe she would have talked to me. Also, I have gone to dollar general and seen their employees more professionally dressed. She is a beautiful woman but where is her manager? I do not think a MANAGER of any kind should be wearing mini-dresses and high heels to work. I saw her from behind and thought she was naked at first with a white coat on her. Who and WHAT are you trying to sell? A woman with professionalism should be wearing suits or work dresses or slacks with a blazer.... not a party dress or something you can go to the mall with! I was immediately turned off. This was not acceptable. I walked out and she gave me a coupon card without hesitation. A few days later, I went in again with my sister (she was picking a 3rd pair she ordered) and I happened to see a few pairs I loved. I was approached by Danny who helped me. He picked me out a second pair. I did not even hesitate to pay with him. I did not even mention my coupon because he deserved the commission (if he makes any that is). And again... I saw the blonde in another revealing outfit. She wore a skin tight ghetto fab dress that looked like a newspaper and street signs were painted on her body. YOU GO GIRL to have a body like that but thank god I did not have to deal with her again. I would have left the glasses right there and then. How could I be professional with someone like that? Danny was very kind, professional, and helpful. If you will go here, only see him. If you have the exam, ask for Ashely. The doctor was great (Dr. Helowits). Anyway, I went in to pick up my glasses, the doctor was not there. I went when it was their lunch hour. I waited and picked up my order. I am satisfied with my glasses but keep in mind, this place does not give you a designer case or a cleaning cloth. I was told they did not have the free ones but I could buy one for $2.00. I complained to Ashely and the spanish technician and Ashley ended up giving me one free of charge. Who is Stanton Optical. There State records say that they are "dissolved"... This place along with Eyelab is a chop SLOP shop. There interest is only to grab off insurance and sell you overpriced Chinese made frames and lenses. Call the Eyelab number, then a call center answers. First thing they say is do you want a eye exam. Capture Marketing.. Who is Daniel Stanton.. Is he a doctor or does he use newbie doctors to dish out wrong precriptions. Then they now have a automated process where the doctor (an India looking guy) comes up on a TV screen and robotically operates the eye equipment only to leave with a BAD exam and not accurate prescription that will cause you to return many times to correct.. Then records doctors keep,, YEAH right.. I don't think there records are even remotely accurate. Where is the medical board in auditing this reckless place. As I type this review I have been on hold for the Customer Service number for 50 minutes.. I got to laugh at there phony recordings saying how they are rated so high and care so much. After laughing I get a chill down my spine and realize this Hack of a place is putting my vision at serious risk.. Hello all Lawyers.. Like many other people, I have seen the commercial for free eye exam, buy one get one for $69.00. I live in Boca Raton, so I finally decided to go and check them out, I have been to Lens Crafters many times and had good experiences, so I was really not sure how Stanton Optical would compare! The staff was very friendly and very helpful! I got my eye exam which I was performed very thoroughly! Then I moved on to looking at frames and making a decision for reading and sunglasses as I needed both desperately, my glasses were not helpful any longer, an old prescription and I was not seeing the road very well, especially at night! I chose my frames and then met with Mauricio to discuss what I wanted and didn't want... after all was said and done I paid $281 for both pairs but they both are scratch resistant lenses and UV for the sunglasses etc. I have paid that much at lens crafters for one pair! I am supposed to pick up my glasses today... that's when I will really know whether I made the right choice in going to Stanton! I hope there are no issues with my lenses, as I have seen in the reviews and or anything else and I hope that both pairs of glasses are ready today, I really, really need them, especially now with rainy season coming in S. Fl. Just to mention again the customer service I got from two different men was outstanding, they were awesome and made me feel welcome and I was not rushed!!! read more

I had reservations about going to Stanton Optical in Boca Raton because of the reviews here. However, everything went smoothly. I got two pairs of glasses with progressive lenses. I was not forced into anything. I did not get coatings because I don't like them. I asked for ultra thin lenses and understood that I would have to pay more. However, they did give me a discount on the extra cost. I received my glasses yesterday. Every time you get new glasses you have to get used to them, especially progressives. They will not feel perfect right away. I was confident enough to drive home with the new glasses. I could see even better as the day went on and I got used to the new glasses. Now, I love them! I got two pair for less than the price of the one old pair that I have. I got paperwork with everything spelled out and no fine print. I understand the warranty. Make sure you read the fine print!!!! I had a very pushy salesman and purchased 2 glasses for $500 I don't know where the $69 glasses were... He only showed me pairs that were well over $100 and I could not see half of what I was looking at. He told me that it was the average price. I had my eyes dilated at the time so this is all on me, I should have known better. I was told it would take 2 weeks to get the glasses and that someone would contact me when they came in. Well 3 weeks later I finally got the call (after I contacted corporate for a refund) funny how fast my glasses came in then. I will tell you this I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN AND I WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW TO STAY AWAY FROM THEM. I have talked to corporate office and they won't do anything. I have asked for a full refund minus the eye exam and all they will do is take some off the price..... STAY AWAY! I like many others watched a TV ad advertising, a) free eye exam and b) 2 pairs of glasses for $59.00. I've been wearing glasses for over 30 years and didn't expect that to be the case for me. However, I thought I would at least expect a "good deal". The "free" eye exam is $45.00 and you then get a $45.00 credit towards your frames and lenses. I chose two frames ($49.00 and $79.00) and then was told that the total for both pairs would be $812. In over 30 years of wearing glasses I've never paid anywhere close to that. I voiced my displeasure and they said the would give me a discount. The price then came down to $655.00. Again that was unacceptable. The manager then came over and said the best they could do was $355.00. Can you imagine $812.00 to $355.00? I agreed to that. A week later I picked up my glasses and actually saw better without them. They retested my eyes and got a totally different prescription. I picked those up 10 days later and they were fine. Fast forward 9 months later I noticed the finish was peeling off one of the frames. I went to the store and was told "no problem" the frames are warranteed. Great (I thought). I was then told those frames were discontinued but as per my warrantee I would get an 80% discount on a new pair. I picked a comparable frame and was told the new warranteed glasses were almost $700 but I would only have to pay $139.00. Needless to say I wouldn't agree, so once again I was given a discount. This time I the price was $99.00. I asked how I bought 2 pairs (same prescription, same price frames) for $355 and now with an 80% discount I had to pay $99.00 which would have put the original cost at $500.00 I'm told that was a special promotion. Trust the reviews. Stay away from here. Walked in to meet a rude, curt receptionist who was clearly not paying her full attention to her job. Went on to get my vision checked for contacts. A lady had me take my old contacts out immediately and told me to wait in the row of randomly positioned chairs. Now I'm about blind as a bat, and the wait was about 20 minutes, so I sat there being able to see absolutely nothing, not being able to look at my phone without a headache. Finally I was called in, and told I hadn't needed to take my contacts out anyways... Fast forwarding to the "prognosis", I was told I had astigmatism in an eye I knew I didn't, however I let them write a prescription as they swore up and down that it was what I needed. A few days later my contacts came. Low and behold they don't fit, and my old prescription is far better, making this a complete waste of my money (eye exams aren't cheap). STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! I had a very bad experience and very poor customer service. I went in there about a month ago to purchase new frames for my son. The very next day, I faxed my son's prescription and I called to confirm they received it. They don't EVER follow up with their clients! 10 days later, I had to call to ask about the frames since I didn't hear from them. Sebastian confirmed the glasses were ready for pick up. My wife and son arrived at this place just to find out this was a LIE. They never sent the order and the frames were never made. Sebastian stated they put a RUSH on Thursday, June 20th and my son's frames were going to arrive in 5 DAYS. On Friday, June 28th I had to call them to follow up with my order since I didn't hear from there ONCE AGAIN. Every time I call it's a different excuse as to what happened. Sebastian said he was going to call me back with an answer and he never did. I had to call him back just to hear another excuse. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! Sebastian said the lenses broke and they had to re-order them. Almost a month later and my son still doesn't have the glasses I paid for on the very first day. HOW DISAPPOINTING! Sadly if I had had the previous reviews I would not have gone to Stanton Optical in Boca Raton! I had some reservations, but was willing to give them a try. Amber Mitchum is as convincing as a used car salesperson. I did not need an eye exam, so this is not related to the Drs associated with this location. I had my own prescription and needed only reading glasses. Single vision. Simple right? Upgraded to 2 pairs for better lens, also purchased lens warranty. Frame selection limited for the 2 for one. Price still the same even though I did not need eye exam. Amber made a copy of my prescription and was quick to take credit card. I received no documentation of what I was receiving, nothing to indicate 2 pairs for reading glasses, warranty etc. Only a credit card receipt, plus generic forms with lens warranty and 1 year frame warranty. After a week I called to see if my glasses were ready, They claimed to have notified me. Funny, with all the technology available there were no messages or evidence that I had any missed calls from Stanton optical. When I finally went in to pick up my glasses, a Tech said that my distance vision glasses were ready. I explained to her that I had paid for single vision reading glasses. I asked to speak to Amber who states that she is the store manager. She states she personally entered information into the computer for my order, but could not find copy of my eyeglass prescription. Her claim was to place the blame on the technicians who may have misfiled the copy of my prescription, even though she entered the order. I have no use for two pairs of distance glasses, and they had lost copy of my prescriptions so they could not make a correction and redo order for reading. I was offered an apology and told that a regional manager would eventually contact me. So if you have no desire to wast your time or money I strongly suggest buyer beware ! Amber would not tell me what kind of training or experience she had in reading the prescriptions. At this point I am wanting a refund, I don't even want to attempt to get reading glasses. This place is an absolute joke! If I could give a negative star rating I would!! After waiting an hour and 45 minutes I was seen for an eye exam. When I went to check out they decided to tell me the glasses I picked out, that I showed to them before the exam, we're not part of the deal. They walked me over to a row of glasses that maybe had 6 options but were all smaller than reading glasses. Basically I paid for an eye exam for nothing because I couldn't cash in on the getting the glasses for free!! In addition, they obviously have no regard for HIPPA regulations because they were calling a patient by name and saying in front of a room full of people that because of his low blood sugar his vision couldn't be tested. They were asking patients what medication they take with the door open that connects to the waiting room. The final straw was I handed over my credit card to pay for a worthless eye exam and when I went to look at glasses the person I handed my credit card to came over to the glasses and when I asked where my card was he responded its behind the desk I put a piece of paper over it.... REALLY?!? You left my credit card in an unattended waiting room?! This place shouldn't be in business and I will never return or refer anyone here! read more

Ordered 3 pairs of glasses from this shop on August 6. I was told the full order would be ready by August 30 but they could come in at different times. Two of the three pair were not done by the due date but got no call from the store saying there was a delay on the others. After August 30 I had to call the store to find out what was going on. Though store employees were pleasant while giving me (unsatisfactory) reasons for the delay and said they would follow up, there has been no follow up. In my view, waiting over a month for a couple of pairs of glasses to be done is entirely too long. My fault for even agreeing to wait until August 30 - Stanton's fault for not meeting its commitment and for lack of follow up. Today, I am still waiting for one pair! read more

In more than 40 years of wearing glasses and dealing with those who supply them this was the absolute worst ! The prescription was wrong ( confirmed by another actual professional) the glasses where made of substandard materials(presumably to save cost enabling them to offer 2 for 1 "deals") , lenses scratched simply by cleaning them(and yes I used micro fiber cloths recommended by them) , my recomadition is to use any other optician than Stanton read more

Could there be a minus star rating!!! Stay way from this company!! I just got off the phone with them again after trying to find out where my glasses are...they were ordered a month ago. I was told they would be overnighted and someone would call me but no one did...such a simple act to maintain customer satisfaction ! they still have no idea where they are!!! It was obvious that no one cares about customer satisfaction and even though I have been very patient and kind, the young woman I spoke to tonight, Jennifer, could not care less that I was going to cancel my payment via my credit card company. So much for trying to improve the bad image! I have been having headaches for over a month now which is why I went for new glasses and my prescription did in fact change....wish I had checked the poor reviews before I went to Stanton in Boca. We in my family are all in the health field and would never treat our patients with such a lack of respect and professionalism. Vision is a medical issue and many of us depend heavily on our glasses. Arrived at store and was told by the receptionist (who was eating her fast food breakfast) that the doctor was running "a few minutes late". When I asked when the doctor was expected I was told 30 minutes later than my scheduled appointment time. When asked why the doctor was late I was told that "they have a fill-in doctor on Saturdays and that the doctor typically shows up late". Will never go back! read more

First of all, they advertise 2 pair of glasses plus free eye exam for $59.95 NOW online. So when I get to the Boca Raton Office, they charge me $69.95. False advertising from the get-go. However, I am carless in Florida and had to pay someone to drive me there, so I figure I'll come up with the extra $10. Ah, but the exam results state my reading glasses prescription is over +2.00 so the deal does not apply. I have to pay for more expensive lenses. I wanted one pair for reading, one for distance, so the total cost came in at just about $150. Then the eye doctor didn't return my old reading glasses that he wanted to look at and I was so bowled over by the entire Stanton rip-off that I didn't realize until I got home my glasses were still sitting at the Stanton office. I must have called at least 20 times, being constantly cut off or routed from one incompetent employee till the next, everyone insisting they couldn't locate my glasses. Only the threat of a negative Internet review finally prompted Stanton to have the eye doctor call me back and say Stanton would make me up an extra pair of reading glasses at no charge since they lost my original pair, all I would have to do is come in and pick out one of their few budget frames. So the next day I again pay someone to drive me to Stanton in Boca, only to be asked by the office manager if I had anything IN WRITING that I was to be given a free pair. Welll, no, I didn't. The office manager said the eye doctor had no authority to make that offer. Finally, after a heated exchange (during which other customers were overheard making remarks about what a joke Stanton is), he acquiesced and told me to pick out a frame. I did, but honestly wondered whether I would be charged when I returned to pick them up. Well, I wasn't but when I again hired someone to drive me to Stanton for the glasses, I asked for a copy of the distance and reading glasses prescriptions, which I am legally entitled to. You MUST double check everything Stanton does, because I was only given the prescription for the reading glasses, not for both reading and distance. So today when I called and requested the distance prescription. I was asked for a FAX number. I do not have a FAX machine, I am not an office. I requested they email or mail (USPS) the prescription and was told they can not do that (really?????), that I would have to come into the office and pick it up, paying a driver for the 4th trip to Stanton. No way. I am a disabled senior citizen, living on a fixed income. I guess I'll have to do without what I am legally entitled to. Do not do business with Stanton unless you are a masochist. I would recommend you NOT go here. Not unless you are prepared to wait several months for your glasses, like I still am. I order glasses in June and still don't have them today, September 16th. I ordered 2 pairs of glasses in June. The sunglasses I ordered took 2 weeks to get done. When they were finally in, they had a problem where the left lens was blurry from about midway to the extreme left. I told them about it immediately and they had me semi convinced it was me and that I needed to give it a day or so to get used to. I returned the next day to let them know it was definitely a problem. The same guy told me he didn't see anything wrong, but fortunately the head of their lab, Jes was there and he took one look and told me they were in fact messed up and he even told me where he guesses I was having the blurriness, he was right on. I told him I wasn't thrilled with waiting another 2 weeks to have them redone and he promised me that he would have them done for me the following day... he did not, and I had to call everyday util they did come in about a week and guess what? They STILL had the same blurry spot. I worked with Chris who said the problem might be that the lenses I picked were too small and he encouraged me to find a pair I liked less, but would be less likely to have problems. I was given another 2 week window and when I came back on the day they promised, I was told the new glasses didn't pass inspection and they had to redo them. I call them a good 2 to 3 times a week and am always told that the person I am speaking to is going to be the one to finally get me some answers and that they will call me back that day... but I never get that call, never. It's now Sept 16th, over a half month later and I went this morning for a refund (because I'm tired of waiting a went the whole Summer without sunglasses thanks to these clowns) and I was told I could not get a refund. No glasses and no refund. Do yourself a favor and find a hour one lab, at least you'll know the same day if you're in the right place and not have to wait 3 months only to be told you have no glasses and no money. read more

read all the fine print. i did not. 100% my fault. the eye exam does not have a doctor. it is done by remote and no one ever explained that to me. okay for the good news. the manager was really very professional. she understood how upset i was. she gave me a very good deal on the glasses so i did purchase them. if she had not been so professional i would be writimg a very bad review. this company should be so glad she is the manager because she saved them. after i get my glasses i will write another review. read more

1st let me say that this review is not a personal vendetta towards any of the staff at the store I went to. My gripe and complaint is towards the company for putting out false advertisement by not informing the customer that if your prescription is over 1.75, you "WILL NOT" qualify for the $69 deal their advertising on their Website where you get 2 frames (from a very small selection to choose from) and an eye exam included for that price. My prescription was 2.50. My bill was $272 today. I paid it, but didn't feel comfortable about doing so, so just a few hours later I tried to cancel my order and was told that I would have to speak with the manager the following day because their refund policy is stated on back of the receipt which doesn't include being able to cancel an order. Wow. So basically the only way of knowing this was for me to first make the purchase and then read the back of the receipt AFTERWARDS. To be continued. read more

I went to Stanton Optical b/c of the advertisements. As expected, the promotion only applied to a very specific category of glasses. I prefer more luxury brands so I didn't mind splurging some. The salesperson I worked with (pardon me, I meant sales manager- there were more "managers" than salespeople) was named Amber and she seemed to be at the wrong job. Her excessive makeup and club clothes (see through by the way- I literally saw right through her dress when she bent over) made me feel like she would be better suited working at a makeup counter. Turns out, she does sell Mary Kay make up, as she kindly informed me. The glasses I picked were nice and the cost was as expected. I enjoyed their enormous selection. When I was ready to check out with Amber, I met a lovely young lady named Ashley who came over to take some kind of measurement. She told me the glasses looked very flattering on me and gave me very good advice on the eyewear I needed. She was my favorite part of the whole experience. It's unfortunate that Amber felt the need to talk down to her b/c she was very friendly. I believe at one point she started a sentence with "Well I'm your manager...). This was highly unprofessional, seeing as Ashley was the only reason I was buying the more expensive frames with all the upgrades. But I got my glasses on time and they are working very well. If you go, ask for Ashley, not Amber. By the way, when I went to pick up my glasses, Amber was wearing a dress that was very short in the front and longer in the back. I'm fairly certain that one wrong breeze would have exposed her entirely. The older women in the store did NOT appreciate her look or demeanor. read more

I bought 2 sets of glasses in January and picked them up. I couldn't see clearly out of either and gave up. After a while returned to the store and was made to take an eye exam. My prescription had changed and so they charged for new lenses - even though I can see out my old glasses... They also admitted the prescription thy gave me didn't match my old one. Next I went to pick them up again and one set had no nose piece and the lenses were cut so poorly you could see the marks at the top. The nose piece was fixed and I returned both sets the following day. I was then told that neither pair was my new prescription and they also didn't match each other. So now I have 2 sets with the wrong prescription and not even the same prescription. I was then told they would be ready by Monday, on Friday I was called to pick them up. If I wear them upside down I can see.... Also keep in mind my boyfriend ordered 3 pairs from them 2 months ago, he has 1. He returned 1 pair as the lenses were backwards and was told 3-4 weeks to get that fixed. He was called every day for a week to pick them up and went yesterday to be told they have lost his frames and not cut the lenses yet. I asked for a refund and get nothing. Don't waste your time here, they can't get your lenses right and you will just waste a lot of time and money. I doubt I will have glasses I can see through by the end of the year... read more

Where do I even begin with this dam place...it starts out with a commercial that says free eye exam and 2 pairs at $69.00, first you have to pay for the exam first.when u see these 6 frames that took me back to the 50's i should have walked out...people were complaining in front of us! It took 3 months,6 pairs of glasses, 3 exams by 2 of their doctors ,one who was constantly on his cell phone and the prescription is still not right...I did get my money back but by that time the damage had been done and my eyes had gotten worse not to mention the horrible headaches from the wrong prescription.my husband also got glasses and he fell wearing his glasses the frames were so sharp he ended up in the er with 1/2 the bridge of his nose missing! We asked them to contact the manufacturer and came back with sorry we can't do anything...NOT good business STANTON! Target did a great job ,had glasses back in 2 days with no issues. Today my husbands glasses broke,there is an entirely new staff and they said it was only covered 80%, he's had them 3 months,reallllllllly! read more
