I have never had doubts about the complete honesty in my dealings with Stan's service. Have taken my cars there for decades once out of warranty and they have been able to repair what ever needed to be done. In a few cases if something was not right with the repair it was done over at no charge even months later. I was so fed up with the Honda dealers total rip off attitude and charges just to tell me what a light bulb in the heater controls would cost to repair that I will not buy another car from them. I feel ripped off. I brought my infiniti there to get a break light switch replaced. The guy looked at it and 10 minutes later told me the part needed to be replaced and that it would take about 30 minutes. I was pretty happy because I've waited longer for oil changes. Here is what happened: The first HOUR they were busy just finding and ordering the part for my car. The last 45 minutes I noticed a guy was finally working on my car. The worst part of it was that when I got the bill, they charged me 70 dollars worth of labor just to check and diagnose the break light problem which I'm pretty sure took exactly 10 minutes. The prices they charged for labor and parts for the work actually done I agree with but 70 dollars just to tell me what the problem is?! They also left my keys, my steering wheel, and my shifter greasy. Not going back. read more

Stay away from this place. They charge 100$ which is a hour to scan your car most of the time it take 10 min to find out what's wrong. Then if the repair is simple and only takes 20min to do they round it up to a hour and leave your car in the bay to Pretend that it's taken the full hour. So for a 20min repair you paying labor time for 2 hours. They Have no care of the environment ether! If you go to Stan's for 250$ he will take your car to the Emissions test for you and pass your car if it's not able to pass it by yourself because of a check engine light or what ever. Plus all his technicians are not certified and there is no alcohol or drug test here you don't even have to have A drivers license to work here. Can't trust these guys. On Friday night, my car (2017 Kia Soul) ran over a small piece of metal on Lake Street in Roselle. Unfortunately, it completely destroyed and blew out my tire. Luckily, this happened right by a gas station. I pulled into the gas station, but unfortunately, they only sold gas and didn't have any mechanics/repairs at the gas station. So they told me about a place a couple doors down that does do auto repair work and get this: They were just about to close and for some miraculous reason they just happened to have a used tire that would fit my car!!!! The guy that worked there drove me back to my car, took off my old tire and while I waited at my car, he drove back to his station with my destroyed tire. He came back to me within 10 minutes with a newly mounted tire and put it on my car and I was good to go!!! Well this is the second time I have used this service station. And I have to say that again I am extremely pleased! The dealership I took my truck to said I needed one front hub wheel bearing and was stating it was going to be about $800.00 to replace it. Took it to Stans and dropped it off and told them what I was told. They called after lunch that day said both front bearings had to be replace and said the price was $802.27!
