This updated review is for my recent experiences at the new location just a block away from Levy Park on Richmond. Stan knows how to make sure customers are satisfied. He is truly a healer and not just a massage therapist. I had a recent anxiety attack from a loss of my family member. I came to Stan's Hands Massage and Wellness for Swedish Relaxation Deep Tissue Massage. Stan knows the techniques to release the bad energy and promoted good energy through massages. They moved to this building early 2019. I like it much better because of parking and privacy compared to last location. My favorite therapy is Sciatica Massage. After sitting at my desk working from home for so many years, I forgot to exercise. That turned me into needing to see a massage therapist more often. They usually give me discount coupons on my birthday and holiday. I also come whenever I can to get treatments. I came back after received my birthday discount. This time, I chose Hot Cold Stone Synergy Contrast Massage. The technique was unique and milder than the deep tissue. It felt so good, I dozed off a few times. read more

I chose this business based on yelp reviews and the fact that the pricing for a 30 minute chair massage was the same as what I had been paying for that in office service at work. The service that had been coming regularly to my office has not come for several weeks, and so my back had become painfully knotted again. The office is well located, easy to find and easily accessible. He has an office on the fourth floor of an office building on Richmond. There was parking both in front and back available, and it took less than a minute to park and reach his office. Stan has a very calm and understated demeanor, which put me at ease. I told Stan what my issue was, and he went right to the most painful knot and worked it out quickly. Best of all, I did not experience severe pain the next day as I often do after getting knots worked out. (I always leave feeling lighter and pain free, but sometimes my muscles are super sore 24 hours later.) Whether due to Stan's expertise or something else, I experienced minimal soreness the next day and have slept pain free ever since visiting Stan. read more

Stan gave me the best message ever. I like a light touch and he did that BUT he is trained enough to feel the tension in your body and give the right amount of pressure. I had been consistently looking for a massage therapist that can gauge pressure and one that will shut the hell up, he did both. My first massage experience. It was so incredibly relaxing and healing! Everything from the room itself (which is dimly lit, comfortable) to even Stan's voice is relaxing. I got a full-body massage and left feeling totally revitalized. I workout anywhere from 3-5 days a week depending on my schedule and have a desk job, which all adds up to sore muscles and a stiff back. After the massage I could move better and just felt great.
