Always wanted to get them done and other businesses were booked out till winter with no availability. Woke up one morning, and thought we definitely need to get our windows cleaned so I contacted several businesses and Golden State window responded within 15 minutes. He said he had a slot open for late afternoon and the price was so fair and reasonable. I couldn't refuse. Jose and the crew came out cleaned 33 windows inside and out including scrubbing, wiping and vacuuming the inside tracks. We were so pleased with the service, we decided to go with Jose and replace all 33 screens as well. He even installed metal tabs so we can easily lift the screens out as needed. The job began on Wednesday and was completed by the following Monday. I actually got a call back three days later from another company, but they were too late. They came on a Friday and cleaned the windows. When I checked their work, they had not cleaned our screens. They came back a week later to clean the screens. After they left I saw that at least one screen (I stopped checking after that because I was irritated) still had a big section that was dirty. The guys also trampled a plant in our backyard. With just a tiny bit of care, they could have avoided stepping on the plant. We also hired them to replace a screen that had a small hole. The screen came back all loose and not at all as expected from a professional company. Lastly, I was disappointed that they never asked if I was happy with their work. I had to call the office a few times, and they never appeared the least interested that as a customer I was getting bad service. In all fairness, I didn't complain after the first visit went bad. I didn't tell them that a screen was still dirty after the second visit, nor did I complain about the bad screen replacement job. I just didn't have it in me to continue to deal with them. I should not have to manage their work.
