I contacted Estuardo to install a new toilet and Washlet, remove the old one, snake a drain, and replace a leaky tub shower diverter. Estuardo was responsive, enthusiastic, and was very accommodating to my schedule, and I appreciate how he was able to come out on a relatively short notice. All of the straightforward plumbing work was done flawlessly. However, there were some hiccups along the way which I regret not paying closer attention to. What went well: - Diverter valve replacement cleanly executed. Estuardo took care of finding a functionally equivalent model from the local hardware store and I'm very satisfied. - Since we had to shut the main water valve off, I opted to also replace a leaky hose bibb in the garage. Estuardo took care of it. - The toilet itself was beautifully installed. Complications (no-fault): - After snaking the drain, Estuardo recommended the P trap be replaced due to corrosion, which ended up being pretty pricey parts-wise. - The toilet shutoff valve was so old it didn't properly close, so the valve had to be replaced. Things that should have been better: - Despite asking for a 1/4-turn shutoff valve, Estuardo installed the more common multi-turn shutoff valve. I didn't catch this until it was already installed, but even after sending a photo the wrong valve was installed. Next time I will opt to shop for my own parts. My chief complaint is that the Washlet ended up being somewhat of a disaster. I installed and uninstalled this exact model from my previous home myself, but Estuardo repeatedly disregarded the manufacturer's install instructions, and my own recommendations. Due to a broken o-ring in the supply hose that we only found later, the install ended up leaking. In the process of troubleshooting the leak, Estuardo overtightened a hose that was not supposed to have tools used on it, a fact that was clearly annotated in the install instructions. As a result, the inlet hose connector was cross threaded beyond repair and will need to be replaced. I have never before seen a more thoroughly shredded thread. Apart from the Washlet and the mixup with the valves, everything else was perfectly done. He even cleaned up the area thoroughly afterward! Overall though, a mixed experience. read more

He is not ethical. He did a terrible job for my kichen. I asked him to install a panel around fridge matched with cabinet. He did it with completely different design which is a total mess. He even did not bother to ask me prior to installation. I told him several times with direction but he kept saying he knows his job and not to worry. I felt confident that he will do a good job but finally it is a mess, my kitchen looks aweful. On the top of that he charged me twice of what we fixed for. He gave quotation with material but finally he charged me extra 270$ for material claiming that the quotation was only for labor. Such an unethical and dishonest handyman. Beware! Estuardo came out last week to repair/replace 3 window frames that were rotted over the years. It was hard to find someone that would handle this job as it wasn't a major job but also wasn't small either but he replied back and was confident that he could do the job...and he delivered.
