I came here for a pedicure and unfortunately wasn't very impressed with my first experience…read more The first thing I noticed was that the arm of the pedicure chair was pretty dirty. The pedicure started off fine with soaking and exfoliating, but when the technician was cutting my nails, she accidentally cut the corner of my left big toe and it started bleeding. She noticed right away and took care of it, and the bleeding stopped quickly. I've had many pedicures before and this was the first time I've ever been cut to the point of bleeding, so I didn't feel comfortable having her continue. I asked her to just colour my nails. Another technician ended up taking over and she was much better and seemed more experienced. My biggest issue was really the cleanliness. Besides the chair, the UV/LED nail lamp was visibly dirty with a lot of old stains and residue on it. Overall, the service was okay, especially after the second nail technician took over, but between getting cut and the cleanliness of the place, I wouldn't come back. I'm very surprised with the good reviews on Google.

Blissful uses non-toxic products that don't sting your nose nor gives you headache and can sometimes irritate your skin. The nail technicians are all friendly and they know what they're doing. I was told that they never reuse their foot scrubs. This is very important to me and I guess to everyone. You don't want to be using the same scrubs other people used. I did both manicure and pedicure and both times I'm very satisfied. This place is highly recommended.

Dan made sure I was happy with my nails through out, she took her time with them! The spa is clean and calming. Nail tech doesn't gossip while doing your nails! Very professional. Reminded me why I loved this place in the first place, will definitely make the effort to keep coming back every time I get my nails done! I highly recommend coming to Magnifique, best nail spa in Vancouver!

I booked a holiday treat for myself - gel manicure with nail art. All technicians wore masks and…read moregloves, and there were plastic dividers between the nail tech and client. While I was there, they made sure to space out clients and there was always at least 1 seating space between clients. The atmosphere was very calm and relaxing, and I much preferred this to the usual hustle and bustle of the busier salons. I noticed that they made a point of keeping the walkway/room very clean and clear- the minute they finished with a client, the tech would quietly move their chair to a back room for storing until the next client appointment. Not only that, even though it was a rolley chair, they purposely lifted the chairs and carts so it wouldn't make a noise clattering on the floor. Very very thoughtful of them! I had brought a bit of a complicated nail art inspiration for my first visit, and my tech Jenny really did a great job following it. They also didn't try and add on any hidden costs or hard sell any extra procedures on me. Even though its quite far out of the way for me to visit, I have to say this might be my new go-to nail salon for the odd time I get my nails done!

I didn't realize the colour I chose was translucent so I had to choose a new one. Now that I have a closer look at my nails, I'm disappointed with the colour and the thickness.
