My first time at VIP Nails. May and the staff were great and welcoming. My nails and pedicures are amazing, and the massage is perfect. Excellent service, I will definitely be going back. Highly recommend read more

I called ahead of time and made an appt for the same day, which was welcomed by the lady who answered the phone. I didn't realize she was the owner until I got there and she also did my nails. She said she's been in this location and has been in business for 25yrs! She was super nice and did my nails exactly as I like them. (I just got a simple gel polish manicure.) She's not the best nail technician I've ever had, but she made sure to correct and fix the colours I asked for. I normally go to a different nail salon all the way in Richmond, but if I'm in a pinch like I was today, I would go back here! read more

I was hesitating cause I needed a new spot for my nails as I moved, boy I am so glad that my girlfriend suggested this place! Parking lot is huge and it's actually clean inside! I had Michelle do my nails and I will keep going back to her!! She did the coffin shape and my nails are thin! Not thick and chunky. With $10 tip and gel new set cost me under $58!! They're open late too!!! read more

I've been coming here for five years now to get acrylic nails and pedicures. I always love their work, and the ladies are very accommodating if I ask for a change, have an idea, or would like something fixed/redone. They have a generous selection of jewels, and a TON of polish colours including tigers eye, glitter, chrome and more. My favourite tech is Susan, she is so careful shaping, buffing, and painting the nails. She always makes sure that I'm happy with the result, and is very nice to chat with. I would like to add that in five years, I have never had an infection or anything else from the salon. Also, yes, they do charge for add ons, but their base price is so reasonable that in my opinion, it would be silly not to expect such. I pay roughly 45-50$ a visit, and always get a full set of acrylic nails with gel polish and some sort of jewels or hand painted art. You really can't beat that. read more

VIP Nails - Full set by Susan :) - Nail Salons Near Me - Surrey, British Columbia

Perfectly adequate salon. Seems clean enough. The people are average, and there were a few parking spots. The woman that did my nails worked too fast. She cut them shorter than I asked which resulted in taking a long time to get a decent shape. The paint job was TERRIBLE. Sloppy edges and uneven colour. She covered my cuticles with colour making the edges look like a mess. She couldn't understand what I was asking her to fix. I was there for almost 2 hours with her 'trying' to fix them. In the end they look cheap and messy. I can't believe I spent money here. Would definitely not go back. read more

VIP Nails - Have you ever seen cuticles this messy?? - Nail Salons Near Me - Surrey, British Columbia

I paid for shellac nails, when I left they were still soft and tacky. My nails look like a child did them. They are dull and soft, uneven and are lifting already. This cost me just shy of 75.00. I will never go back there again. My cuticles on both my feet and hands are still rough and ragged. I work on computer all day and my last pedi / mani was 2 weeks ago. They were definitely not worth what I paid. read more

I have been here many times, finally checked in. The ladies here are very service focused and do a professional job. There are 7 chairs for pedicures and 7 tables for nails. It's a busy place, I recommend calling first as they get busy. We came on our lunch break and the place filled up fast read more

I went to get acrylic nails for the first time in years. I mainly work on the computer for work so I prefer to have my nails short. I found the ladies there were not very professional. The lady that helped me, didn't understand why I wanted short nails. I also found it interesting that they don't offer airbrush. I asked the lady but she said that no one does this anymore. To get white tips cost me $5 extra. I found this odd. Also, having a gel coating would also cost $5 extra. I didn't have a choice on the white tips as I really wanted this but I hoped to have a gel coat as I used to have done before. At no extra cost. I went home and later on that day, I noticed that most of my nails were uneven, and I even developed an infection from the application of the white tips. That was it. I will not be going back unless I want another infection. read more

Went in for a pedicure and to get my eye brows waxed a young guy did my pedicure he was very snobby and not very friendly as I was getting the pedi lady was starting to wax my brows then says to me I also thread same price I'm thinking good for you I want to wax cuz it last longer for me se says so same time which isn't true so she then starts to thread, then the rest if the time she plucked them with tweezers then she was looking all over the place for the right ones finally she found it and didn't even bother to disinfect it as it was somewhere dusty at the bottom of a drawer or something took her almost 30 mins to do my brows the place was just un organized dirty and workers were just sitting around it definitely wasn't one of my best pedicures and I definitely don't recommend anyone to go here its sucks!!! read more

I got a set of UV liquid gel nails, i paid 80$ for my set; I trusted in their nail techs as they have 10+ years of experience. It felt cheap that their LED curing lamps were literally covered in saran wrap, and were using well worn emery boards and buffing blocks. Their work is very sloppy and messy very unproffesional coming from ladies who have been doing this with a good set of years experience they couldnt even file my nail down evenly, the application of colour was terrible extremly patchy, they didnt even bring the colour close or near to my cuticle ( yes i know, they arent supposed to touch ) but it looked like my fresh manicure was already grown out. its been 1 day literally one day and my nails are falling apart! yes falling apart!!! 6 of them destroyed.the plastic extension of my fake nail actually began to lift from my UV Gel and the thing is with UV gel its not supposed to lift aswell as being really strong it can be filed down really thin to act as a natural nail. i cant believe this is even a salon, what a shame on these woman to say they do this as a profession as most answered their phones mid service and were talking on them aswell as gossiping and chating amongst each other really loud across the room. but what really shocked me were two clients who got a pedicure were done, they are supposed to clean and steralize the basin. What they did is wiped it down with a wet cloth and rinsed with soap there was a lack of cleaning procedure and nothing aware of a logging of the steralization process, ummm yuck no thanks. To everyone out there who is even considering going here, please i beg of you save you hands and feet from this place! your body will thank you! as these people dont know what they are doing at all and if anything waste your time and money and possibly give you a fungal infection. read more

I had to get my gel nails removed, so found this place. It was horrible. They didnt know how to remove it properly, had lots of residue left on the nails. Overall, very sloppy and messy. I decided to also get a pedicure and manicure cuz it was cheaper to get my nails removed a long with getting my nails done again. Pedicure was already chipped by the time I got home and there's nail polish on my skin that wasn't cleaned off. As for my manicure, my nails were still very sharp and unevenly shaped. I came home and re-filled them, big hassle. Overall, quality of work was very poor. I do NOT recommend this place, I can do my nails better myself! read more

The worst manicure and pedicure ever! Pedicure was done by a young guy that was rude, angry looking and in no way should be working in a customer service environment. The entire salon was dirty from one end to the other and when u got home I removed the gel nail polish as it looked like it was splashed on rather than brushed on my nails. Cuticles were poorly tended to and polish covered them - not to mention uneven nails! Absolutely horrible - never again! read more

Horrible. Horrible. I went there to get Gel solid colour and I explained to the tech that I wanted it too be full colour. She starts doing the process and I ask her again if she understands because I could tell she was going to a french manicure and that exacty what she was doing.. I stopped her and told her what I wanted for the fifth time. She got angry and told me I should have told her. BUT I did numerous times. Then the owner of the salon had to step in and take over. they had to remove and peel (which hurt and didn't care I was in pain and told them) and she had to restart the process. By this time, I was late for my party. She quickly does the nails and tells me to get up and pay. As I'm paying the WET NAIL POLISH comes off. I tell her and she rolls her eyes and tells me to sit back down. By this point, I'm beyond late and miss my party completely. When I got home I noticed that one of the nails the COLOUR CAME OFF! I called and had to GO BACK FOR THE THIRD time for the simplest procedure ever. My nails in the end were UNEVEN, BULKY AND UGLY. They were unapologetic and rude. DO NOT GO HERE. read more
