Well that soured quickly and made an absolute 180° turn for the worst. Although the planning process was wonderful, it turns out that it was all a lie and that we were inevitably bound to be scammed. Imagine the level of deceit and lack of integrity required to straight up lie to customers about what products they will receive. I am disgusted. I received in writing that we would receive arrangements in clear or gold vases. Yuki even sent a sample image of what the arrangement would look like. After that, though, once she had received payment, the red flags started showing up like a socialist parade. First, she stated that vases were no longer in our budget and that they would put out vases for the night then take the vases away at the end of the event but give containers to keep the flowers. This was only 3 days prior to the event, so while it was a strange proposition, we didn't exactly have any other options at this point. Skipping forward to the day of the event, there were no vases, just plastic green containers. To make matters worse, the arrangements were nowhere near the scale of what the original image sent portrayed. Further, the flowers were sparsely filled in at best. Ruining events and leaving recipients in shock and disappointment is a sadistic hobby, but it's quite clear there are twisted people in today's world. Lesson of the day: if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Don't fall victim like us. If you want flowers, search elsewhere. read more

Although fine print says, "If the exact flowers or container you have selected are not available our expert florists will create a beautiful bouquet with the freshest available flowers. We will only substitute items of equal or higher value." But description says, "Hugs & Kisses Bouquet with RED ROSES...The charming bouquet includes white daisy spray chrysanthemums, pink carnations, red miniature carnations and red roses accented with fresh greenery. Delivered in a stylish red vase." Where do I begin...first, vase was clear, not red...no decorative ribbon...and most obvious discrepancy...no RED ROSES!!!! Not a 1! Why describe it with Red Roses if you can't arrange to include this flower? Very disappointed that this florist did not live up to the reviews...there mustn't have been an expert florist on duty to replicate this beautiful bouquet. The picture I've posted shows clearly what was advertised & the less than expected actual item received. So very sad the poor looking bouquet could not bring holiday cheer this Christmas season. When I went to Hawaii, my Aunt who is a resident there helped us with a hotel and a beautiful lunch. When we flew back to Sacramento, I ordered flowers to be sent to her job to say Thank You. I ordered a simple bouquet of flowers with roses, lilies and more. I'll post pics. I ordered it through their web site. I guess I was under the impression it was going to be in a much taller vase but my Aunt's photo with it was a much shorter vase. She was happy anyway. I ordered the Zen Artistry flower arrangement through TeleFlora for my daughter's birthday. But, what she got was totally off! I understand that it might not be exactly as shown on their website, but, this wasn't even close. Mostly because the flowers were all drooping, and NO effort was put into the arrangement. It looked very amateurish! When I contacted the florist, via email, because they do not answer or return your phone calls, their response was that they were "sorry for doing a bad job!" 2 days ago, I've lost my 15 years old dog and my friend in Japan sent me some flowers from this place but the flowers looked all worn out already and I've called this place to ask when was it actually arranged. The Japanese lady told me to send the picture which I did and she called me back saying that I was color blind and some elderly people cannot see the colors properly. They made the most beautiful bouquet for our wedding. We didn't ask for them to mimic something from the web but just gave them colors and let them do their thing. It's gorgeous! It's the perfect mix of tropical and traditional and it smells heavenly. I noticed a lot of the negative reviews were asking for purely traditional (mainland-ish) arrangements with no room for creative license. We recognize that we're in a tropical flower paradise and respected their artistry enough to give them free reign. After researching florists to order floral arrangements for a funeral, we decided on Stanley Ito Florist. Before hand, I called the shop, got availability and delivery quotes. Spoke to Yuki, she advised me to come into the shop to look at their albums (aside from what was online). Yuki welcomed us in, brought out their albums, answered our questions, we were lucky enough to see them assembling an arrangement (good visual for height size). There was no pressure to order the arrangements from them or to hurry up, as we kept flipping back and forth through their albums. Fast forward to funeral day... My family and I were blown away at how beautiful our two arrangements were. First was a cross with white roses, lilies and other white flowers. The second arrangement was popping with color, beautiful deep pink roses, white carnations with gentle pink tips and some other flowers (I don't know the names). This is the worst experience I've had with ordering flowers!!! What the hell is going on in Hawaii? I ordered a basket of spring plants with flowers and what was delivered was a single green plant with brown spots on the leaves in a cracked plastic pot with a burlap sack. I'm not exaggerating, I have pictures to prove it. Original delivery date was 4/26/2020 and it was finally delivered end of day on 4/30/2020. I am so surprised you are still in business. What an embarrassment to me for sending such a disgraceful pot of sympathy "flowers". I could've had a 5 year old dig up a plant in the backyard, dress it with a bow and it would still look better. I was unfortunately disappointed in the arrangement my mother received as it looked nothing like or similar to what I had ordered. I was expecting a full round arrangement and I received what looked like something that would be displayed against a wall because the back was completely bare. The arrangement itself didnt look fresh and more as if it had been driven around all day. It seemed dejected. I do understand that with these times maybe some flowers perhaps were unavailable but seriously. I called from the mainland to order flowers for our granddaughter who was in rehab after a near-death auto accident. After the order she was moved back to Queens ICU. They had already sent to flowers to the rehab but found that she wasn't there. Stanley Ito Florist refunded my credit card!!!! That's not all. My granddaughter is now home so I called again to order flowers to be delivered to the Windward side. I wanted a florist relatively close to my neighborhood and Stanley Ito fit the bill. With most of the recent 5 star reviews, I decieded that my fellow yeeps could not steer me wrong so I chose them on a whim to get a bouquet of flowers for my friend who was competing at this year's cherry blossom festival. I know very little about flowers, but they helped me decide to go with a bouquet of two dozen pink roses in an arm bouquet 'miss america style', with a pink bow. I was a bit skeptical, not going to lie, but when I picked it up today I was very pleasantly surprised and happy with the results. The roses were fresh and arranged beautifully-- from the babys breath to the ferns, nothing was an after thought. When I arrived at the pageant the other bouquets I noticed were not nearly as nice and full as the one I got from Stanley Ito. My friend who got a bouquet at a certain other popular vendor (ends in -abe, you know which) got a baby dozen roses for $60, my two dozen full and beautiful bouquet cost me $70 without tax. An amazing value if you ask me. The people at Stanley Ito run a very tight no nonsense ship, which I am fine with. Some people might be turned off by this tempermant. But I am not there for them to hold my hand, they are there to do the job right and their work speaks for itself if you ask me. They are very accomodating and definitely know what they are doing. When I arrived to pick up my bouquet the workers were meticulously critiquing a floral wreath, which already looked amazing to me, but my untrained eye of course does not match theirs. The dedication and methodical manner in which they run their business shows me that they take their business seriously and have great pride in their work which is very impressive to me. We went to order a flower wreath for a funeral. We looked at their website before going, so we had an idea of what we wanted before hand. When we arrived, the lady said that whatever they have is in the book. She also pulled up a website on her ipad. We found the wreath that we saw on the website, but the cost was a lot more than before. We asked why the price was so different, and that we saw a lower price before, I pulled up their website on my phone and showed her the lower price. She then said, "Oh wait", I was on the mainland website. I think she would have changed us the higher price if we didn't already know the correct pricing. Now, when the wreath arrived at the funeral, it looked good, but the names that we gave them and paid extra for we're wrong! We saw her spell the name correctly on the order form, but it was spelled wrong on the banner! We also said to write "and families", they had "and family" which makes a big difference! There was enough room on the banner for it to fit. For the price we pay, and the reason the wreath was ordered, you would think that they would be more considerate in how they conduct their business and check their work! read more

Wanted to order some lucky bamboo to cheer up my severely bedridden mother. It was nearly $90 on the site for a small arrangement & 1x balloon, but I thought to myself money was no object (for family only, of course! Geez, who do you think I am?) and I was going to order it anyways for my dear mama... However, not only did the site crash as I pressed the "confirm order" button, but I wasn't even allowed back onto the site itself, getting a "this site is under maintenance" screen every time I tried. I called the shop, not relishing having to give all of the personal info I filled out over the phone again but at least willing to give it a try... The shopkeeper barely spoke English, and when I carefully & respectfully tried to explain my situation, she sneered at me, literally SNEERED, telling me "well, what do you expect ME to do about it? Why don't you be a little more patient and just try the site again later when it actually works??" Supremely wounded, and more than a bit surprised to be catching so much attitude from, well, a florist, I responded that I would be doing no such thing, but would instead be ordering from one of literally DOZENS of other more competent local businesses who actually wanted me to buy from them, and didn't take their frustrations of their own broken websites out on their customers (said businesses having websites that are in fact actually, you know, functional). So here I am. Please stay away from this place, they do not deserve your business and charge an arm and a leg anyways; for example, did you know that if you're willing to be a little more independently creative with your bouquet arrangements, lucky bamboo clusters cost roughly $15- 20 at your friendly neighborhood drugstore for small to large bunches, respectively? I typically go to a very creative, expensive boutique style florist. I don't go often, and can usually make my own arrangements and lei po'o, so I'm familiar with flowers. And although I've bought fresh cut flowers there before, it was nothing to yelp about. But this story is .... my younger sons senior prom was coming up quick, my lack of planning left me with a day to order flowers before we left on a trip where I would be without cell service til I returned the day I pick up the flowers. I stopped in, front staff was friendly but deferred to owner with specific flower questions. They had a wonderful sparkle wrist corsage option instead of the slap bracelet( I wasn't too keen on anyway). It had some embellishments which I asked to remove and have it look more natural and organic. I requested not to use specific flowers and sent follow up images of what I liked, also asked if she could do a small bouquet,and gave a $ amount to budget by. I was anxious to see day of pick up, and if my son would approve. I picked up the arrangements right from the airport and couldn't have been more happy and excited what she had done with all the instructions and budget I gave her. Sooooo pleases, I needed to yelp. A little hard to find in their new building. Much more modern in design than most of the stuff in Liliha area. Look for the awning, light brown building. If you overshoot, you gotta go all the way around the block cause construction is happenin'. PARKING WARNING! AH-OOOGAH! AH-OOGAH! Parking is CAH-razy tight. If you're coming here from downtown heading towards Kam Shopping Center, do NOT go in the first entrance/little driveway; you will scrape your right/passenger side rims up horribly. Even if you're going in the 2nd entrance, it's still really tight, and the Ito delivery van takes up a lot of room (but hey, it's their lot). Drive past them and park in the old Hungry Lion (now a Walgreens or something) parking lot next door, where they're doing renovations in the whole strip mall complex. Better just to walk over the few doors. Cost: A little pricey at $12 for a few orchids and anthuriums if that's your thing, but quality products, fresh flowers, family-owned and they know what you're looking for if you're heading to any of the nearby graveyards (they know the sizing if you need to put flowers on a wall at Punchbowl, etc.). Convenience: A quick stop on your way to Punchbowl, Oahu Cemetery, etc. Close by to mortuary on Vineyard (yah, you know the one), in case you forgot to send something and need it delivered super quick. Customer Service: Sometimes pretty surly, but only because they're busy. Don't go in the morning when they're getting the large arrangements delivered/loading up the van. It's best to know what you want right away. They will answer questions, but don't expect a warm hug at the end. Cause yeah, they're busy. Bottom line: Yeah, you could go to the 24-hour Pali Safeway just down the road (head towards the ocean/downtown) and see what flowers they have that day. But if quality really matters, go to Ito Florist. We still go here for flower and funeral arrangements. read more

I came here to buy some ginger flowers to put on my grandparents/uncles/aunties graves. I wasn't sure what to buy but I knew that I needed some kind of ginger arrangement. I told the lady at the front that I needed some flowers for graves and she asked me how many and I told her 5. So immediately she starts putting together 5 bunches and she asked me if I wanted her to cut them and I said yes. She cut them the perfect length so that when I put them on each grave's vase they stood perfectly. The 5 bunches of ginger came out to around $37 after tax so I think that might be a bit expensive, but in any case I was very pleased with the service and quickness! As some others have mentioned, the parking lot is uber tight, so just be aware. read more
